These mute Strand-Casts were subjected to mutation via Sith Alchemy and injected with chemicals to suppress higher brain function so they would be completely subservient to their master's will. For the remainder of their natural existence they serve as elite personal brutes, bodyguards, or berserker for their masters.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Created in the bowels of Gehinnom by Darth Solipsis and his attendants in pursuit of creating a new 'Voice of the Maw', rejected tissue stock and Strand-Cast bodies were utilized in conjunction with Sith Alchemy to create a new sithspawn to serve the Brotherhood's top warlords in an effort to bolster their bodyguard detail with powerful beserkers. The origins of such brutes were shrouded in mystery when they first arrived among the Heathen Priesthood who dispatched and 'gifted' the powerful warriors to the warlords they deemed worthy. Only a select handful were even made aware of their twisted origin, this left the subservient race of giants an enigma to most of the Brotherhood who all but accepted the fearsome warriors at the Heathen Priests' word.

As of 864ABY there have been several sightings of these hooded mutes among the warlords and at least one or two on Osseriton's penal colony where they inspire dread among the prisoners and stationed war band alike. Their main use and purpose has become that of a glorified bodyguard, taking out those who would strive to kill their master with the utmost cruelty. They are beserkers and murderous titans utilized by the hand of their master at the whim of their masters, all this is possible through the mental bond created between Warlord and Nephilim by the Heathen Priesthood. If that bond was to be disrupted, the mute giants would be unable to comprehend any further commands by their masters. This was first seen during the initial invasion of Lao-mon when a Nephilim became unresponsive and needed mental links reestablished to it's host by Deacon Mardok of the Heathen Priesthood.
