, the Mind-Break toxin is the culmination of his efforts to bring fear to the entire galaxy. Designed to spread mass terror as quickly as possible, the toxin has been designed to ensure entire groups or populations are rendered little more than a blubbering mess, far easier to dominate as the Sith expand without a costly military campaign and decades of oppression. While imperfect, the toxin has been designed to be both airborne for maximum exposure and injection in order to be used on specific individuals, especially during interrogation. Nefaron views it as his magnum opus, but it does contain several flaws that the Sith Lord is actively trying to eliminate with little success so far. It is possible to entirely overcome the effects of the toxin if a being is mentally strong, but the average galactic citizen will be consumed by their greatest fears given enough time.

- Crippling Fear: If a being is infected with the toxin, they will be plagued by their worst fears to the point that they are reduced to little more than a cowering mess.
- Mind Breaking: Prolonged exposure to the toxin renders a normal being utterly broken, the remainder of their lives will be spent jumping at every shadow or perceived threat.
- Hallucinogen: The toxin can produce highly realistic hallucinations that seem utterly real to the infected individual, this could possibly lead to incidents of friendly fire among infected military forces.
- Indiscriminate: Once deployed, the toxin cannot be controlled. It can affect friendly forces if they are not properly warned or wander into an affected area.
- Nothing Left to Fear: Beings, especially Jedi, who have overcome worldly attachment and the fear of death can successfully fight off the toxin, rendering them essentially immune to its effects.
- Possible Recovery: If an individual can be removed from a toxin-affected area and begin an immediate detox they can overcome the toxin's effects and return to normal, even if the process can be rather lengthy depending on the individual.
