OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: They serve as one of the main and dominant species of post-Bombardment Andresia. They are an evolved species from Andresian Humans.

  • Canon: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: Andresia
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Necrohumans
  • Designation: Sentient
  • Origins: Andresia
  • Average Lifespan: Unlike the Greenkins, the Necrohumans won't last that long due to their physiological weakness. They can last around 400-500 years. This has something to do with the effects after the Bombardment.
  • Estimated Population: Rare
  • Description: Necrohumans are mutated humans evolved in Andresia, affected by the phenomenon of ghoulification. This has something do with the effects of nuclear/toxic radiation post-Bombardment. Necrohumans are sometimes referred to as Necros by their arch-enemies, the Greenkin. Despite their zombie-like appearance, the flesh of Necrohumans are not actually rotten. Intense and prolonged radiation has ravaged their skin, much of their flesh, and in some cases many of their ligaments. Despite their infertility and in some cases mental deterioration, they have greatly extended overall lifespans and are immune to (and sometimes even healed by) background radiation and/or nuclear/toxic fallout.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: Type III
  • Average Height of Adults: It varies.
  • Average Length of Adults: N/A
  • Skin color: It varies, human skin color wise.
  • Hair color: It varies, human skin color wise.
  • Distinctions: What differs them from Humans is that they have high degree of skin deterioration: Exposed muscle, flaking skin, and damaged connective tissue characterized by the absence of nose and ears. Another is surviving a nuclear bombardment relatively close to ground zero, suffering burns both thermal and radiation-induced, but surviving. The latter transformation is typically faster and substantially more traumatic for the victim and results in a generally much more horrifying appearance, with exposed bone, asymmetric deformations, and extensive unhealed wounds.
  • Races: The Necrohumans has VARIANTS
    NON-SENTIENT VARIANTS
    • Feral Necrohuman: They are the basic Necrohuman variant. They are non-sentient. They don't attack their non-feral counterparts but they will attack sentients. They are noticeably weaker than their non-feral counterparts. Despite their shrill noise and remarkable speed, they are only truly a threat when they have the advantage of numbers. Some feral necrohumans come in different colors as well as different types. The colors are different depending on how the human looked before turning into a Necrohuman. Necrohumans have lost all capacity to reason and are essentially wild animals. They are driven purely by what remains of their survival instincts, clustering in groups and attacking whatever disturbs them with relentless fury (except if they're a non-feral Necrohuman). When provoked, they all rush the source of the disturbance - usually a living creature from the wasteland - and try to attack using their limbs. The degeneration of the central nervous system means they cannot use tools (unless recently necrofied) though it also means they will attack with full force, without the natural human limiters on muscle use. Interestingly, feral necrohumanswill call out to other ferals with a screech, typically causing the entire pack to swarm the target. Interestingly, while they are clinically dead, they might consume flesh reflexively.
    • Charred Necrohuman: Another non-sentient Necrohuman variant. They are one of the strongest variants of feral Necrohuman, this Necrohuman is covered by a thick layer of rust, giving it a natural armor and drastically increasing its resistance to damage.
    • Glowing Ones: Glowing Ones or luminous necrohumans are Necrohumans who absorbed so much radiation that they glow in the dark, becoming living conduits of radiation. In daylight, they simply appear to be incredibly pale feral Necrohumans, but in the darkness, they glow with a vivid yellow-green hue, their opaque skeletons clearly visible as in an X-ray. Approaching a fallen glowing one can cause minor exposure to radiation, so they can still be dangerous to humans even after their death. They are often considered outsiders even by other (non-feral) ghouls, they are also one of the rarest of the feral Necrohumans. They attack other feral Necrohumans and the Necrohumans themselves.
  • SENTIENT VARIANTS
    • Marked Ones: Marked Ones are a unique subtype of Necrohumans with a fiery red tone due to their brutal environment; ghoulification made their flesh weak and fragile, but it was the storms that peeled their skin off, leaving behind only muscle. They are mostly found in the Capital Wasteland, formerly called as the Marinook City. The radiation of the Capital Wasteland may be the only thing keeping them alive. They congregate in squads and small camps of around four marked men and wear ramshackle faction armor. They appear to have resorted to cannibalism to survive within the Capital Wasteland. Marked Ones are cannibal Necrohumans.
    • Purist Ones: They are Necrohumans who are not mutated humans, but Necrohumans who were actually born as Necrohumans. Through cruel experimentation on humans by human scientists at Beautopia, these Necrohumans gestated and were birthed. Meaning, the Purist Ones originated from Beautopia. At first glance they look like any other Necrohumans, but a closer inspection reveals that their lesions, exposed bone, and hair patches are very uniform and look like they serve some kind of purpose. On top of that, these Necrohumans are a little tougher, a little stronger, and a little faster than normal Necrohumans.
  • Force Sensitivity: Force Dead. This has something to do with the effects of the nuclear bombardment and the after effects in post-Bombardment which were orchestrated by Yossun Zaishwa Yossun Zaishwa and his former master (which is mentioned in Yossun's character biography). They have an inability to benefit from light-sided Force powers.
Strengths:
  • Semi-Immortality: The Necrohumans are semi-immortals. They age slowly as this has something to do with the radiation of the planet.
  • Force-dead species: This has also something to do with the radiation effects of the planet. [TAKE NOTE: The nuclear bombardment were enchanted with Sith alchemy by Yossun Zaishwa Yossun Zaishwa 's former master]
  • Retain Human Intelligence: While they look like zombies, their human intelligence are still retained.
Weaknesses:
  • Infertile: Necrohumans are infertile. Obviously, it's because of the radiation.
  • Mental deteroriation: This has also something to do with the radiation effects. Once they became consumed completely by mental deterioration, they'll go insane - to the point that they'll be regarded as ferals.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Omnivore
  • Communication: They communicate orally. Their language is none other than the Galactic Basic.
  • Technology level: Below Galactic Standard. Andresia is no longer part of the known galactic community but a forgotten, remote and post-apocalyptic wasteland. They are able to salvage and re-engineer any pre-Bombardment items they could find in the wasteland, to make it an arsenal and applied it in their society.
  • Religion/Beliefs: N/A
  • General behavior: They are natural survivalists and warriors. This has something to do with the kind of life in the post-bombardment Andresia.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Necrohumans are new Near-Human species. Evolved from the Andresian humans who managed to survive on the surface. Their physiology evolved in order to adapt from the planet's current atmosphere. The Necrohumans may have created their own city called Necropolis which is a city-state governed by a Mayor of the Necrohumans. They were mistrustful to themselves until the Greenkins came along to subjugate the city-state. This caused a never ending racial war and skirmishes between the two species who descended from the Andresian humans. Although truce was created between the two species, skirmishes are imminent.

Meanwhile, their Capital Wasteland counterpart, the Marked Ones - have different story. They are more exposed to the radiation to the point that they became sociopaths, psychopaths or whatever. They are cannibals, they kidnap whether if it's a Necrohuman, a Greenkin, an animal or whatever sentient they may be.

Great work so far! This is well laid out, and everything I'm about to lay out should get this approved right quick.

Earth Terms | I noticed throughout the sub the use of some terms you may want to edit. One notable that will need to be changed is under technology which you stated as the Bronze Age. Codex guidelines don't allow for the use of these terms, rather something like below galactic standard, or far below galactic standard would work. You could then describe what that means in your own words and come close to the bronze age itself... without actually using that term.

Variants | This is exactly what the races portion of the template is for. This is not a big deal at all since I can totally understand how that can be deceiving sometimes. If you move that there it would be fully appropriate to do so.

This is really all I have as far as some edits. This is a FANTASTIC submission!

To answer your question, variants are allowed. I am just asking you to move them under races because that is where they belong. That is what the races portion of the template is for.

Also you have listed the lifespan as immortal. As in the other submission you will need to edit this as it is not allowed per the guidelines.
