Strengths:

• Modularity: the multirole escort frigate can be modified to fulfill a number of mission critical functions.

Weaknesses:

• Structural Integrity: the connecting spar that spans between the aft and for’ sections of the ship is a structural weak point and is commonly targeted during combat. Destruction of this spar will cut the ship in half and leave the for’ section listless in space without propulsion. However, the engineers have added environmental emergency bulkhead seals that will close off either end of the spar in the event of a major breach, preventing atmosphere from being flushed from the entirety of the ship.

Description:

The Nebulon-L is the workhorse of the Galactic Alliance Fleet. Some Nebulon-Ls are tasked as medical frigates and stacked full of medical supplies. Using state of the art hospital bay systems and employing specialized medical shuttles in place of combat ready ships. Others are dedicated to mine deployment and carry a larger magazine of mines. Still others carry a squadron of smokejumpers and hotshots - small firefighting ships whose sole task is to put out shipboard fires. The task is a vital one, but extremely dangerous. The Nebulons also serve as scouting ships, picket frigates, convoy escorts, and anti-piracy vessels.

You have far too many weapons on this to be anything other than a heavy frigate. As a heavy frigate this is 60% the max size and would need show this in the design.

normally a heavy frigate will not have a hanger but it is possible for you to replace weapons with a hanger which seems like what you have done.

That is ok but the issue is with the speed and maneuvering.
normal speed and maneuvering on a heavy frigate is 11 for both. This represents the vessels extra mass with the heavier weapons and systems needed for them and such.

at 60% the max size this is fine for weapons. It is even a bit light but you have a hanger which makes up for that.

The canon Nebulon B was not a fast ship. The massive engine block and skinny connecting spine is a very poor design. You try to turn this against its momentum and that skinny strut will bend. Sure if you think vectored movment it can spin on a dime but it still has to handle the stress on the hull. But as most know we do not use vectored movment in star wars. I have no idea why they did it that way but its what we have. Everything has to turn like its in atmosphere. Silly star wars creators.... anyway 7 is just too fast. that is the speed of heavy bombers and small corvettes. A frigate just can not go that fast.

So to keep the hanger make speed and maneuvering the standard 11.
Or remove the hanger and make speed and maneuvering 9

Or we can visit calling this an Escort Frigate and cut some weapons off for a faster speed. I honestly think this is the better option.
if this interests you here is my recomendation

A standard escort frigate is 250 meters. I figure giving it the stats of a 250 meter escort frigate with 1 squadron would make up for the 300 meter length. For weapons on a 300 meter escort frigate with 1 squadron keep the hedgehog, the 5 ion cannons and the 20 lasers and lower the turbolasers to 24. speed 8
maneuvering 8
armament 8 (it is 300 meters)
defense 4

that would bring it in line with a escort frigate and give it a buff for being 20% bigger than standard.

The above is all without any development. but I really think the Escort Frigate is the way to go. It gets you close to everything you want but just 1 slower and a lower armament and defense which the ship had anyway when compared to a max heavy frigate.
