Strengths:
- Photochromatic Visor: The Nau'ul Dha'haase goggles filter electromagnetic radiation (light waves) through a series of lenses, filters & liquid crystal to give Yasha Mantis the ability to see in detail without being blinded.

- Material Fragility: These are not armour. They offer protection against light and some electromagnetic radiation, but can be broken as easily as someone breaking a kid's glasses.
- Bulky: Streamlined, these things are not.
- Short Out/Power Cut Off: Without changing out the power pack, or if the goggles 'short out', they would become nothing more than a pair of colourful, slightly bulky sunglasses.
- Hot: The more Yasha uses the features on the goggles, the hotter they get. While there are vents in the top, the goggles can still get uncomfortable enough that the girl would have to take them off and wipe the inside after 4 - 5 hours of constant wear.
- Homing Signal: Yasha's goggles have a homing signal built into the frames, which could be hacked by a sufficiently talented technologically inclined individual.
Description:
Due to a genetic abnormality, [member="Yasha Mantis"] was born with her mother's inability to handle bright light. Putting the child in sunlight on a normal day in Keldabe is enough to temporarily blind the child. Bright lights inside can make the girl squint uncontrollably. In order to give her daughter the chance to live a normal life, Atrisian/Mandalorian Engineer Aditya Mantis built her a pair of colourful goggles which filter a wide spectrum of lightwaves into levels which Yasha can manage. Low light, night vision and a macrobinocular system were added to help the child cope with life outside of Hell and still be useful as she learns to hunt with her father & live the life of a Mando'ad.
Taking the systems from her own buy'ce's blueprints, the Engineer crafted less technically sufficient versions inside the goggles' lining, including an Audio/Visual recorder which acts as a 'homing signal' for both parents (@Aditya Mantis & [member="Preliat Mantis"]) to locate their child. Not meant to protect the child any more than a normal pair of ski goggles, the Nau'ul Dha'haase Goggles are fairly heavy, bulky but fitted to Yasha's face only. They're small enough to be useless for anyone other than their intended user.
In going with Yasha's new love for all things brightly coloured, Aditya used a colour wash on the lenses and has fashioned a collection of colourful straps that Yasha can switch out depending on what the child feels like that day.
