Description:
The Na'rin Membrane is a way for Titan Industries to produce a unique biot with the capability of not only providing night vision, but a unique way for non-force using soldiers to sense force users. This early warning system is great against Jedi, Sith, and neutral force users who might coming hunting for One Sith Soldiers.

The Na'rin Membrane is a strange creature that looks like an odd sort of flat worm. The worm is placed onto the eyeball where it 'slips' into the socket. There it grows into its full form. This process is slightly painful as the worm expands and fits to the eye socket. From there however the worm comfortably fits in place and is completely unnoticeable by the wearer or anyone else.

The membrane itself is activated by a simple thought, much like a regular blink. From there the Na'rin's effects begin to take hold.

The Primary purpose of the Na'rin Membrane is to act as a form of night vision goggles. The membrane through means that Titan keeps to itself activates once placed across the eye. The Membrane enhances localized light having the effect of increasing ones vision during the night time. This works surprisingly well, turning even the blackest night into a bright twilight.

Alongside side its nightvision The Na'rin much like most Yuuzhan Vong bio-technology has an aversion to the force. This aversion however function differently within the Na'rin. When the membrane has collapsed over the eye of the user the Na'rin is capable of “seeing” the impact that a force user creates. It does this in the same way that a Yammosk is capable of sensing a force user. That is to say the Membrane does not give an exact position of the force user, rather it create a feint 'wave' within the users line of sight indicating the force users likely position. This can aid's in finding anyone using the force, including those who are cloaked and utilizing white current. It does this through seeing the echoes left in the force when it is used, or rather their absence.

Though the upside of the Na'rin are clear, it does have more than one downside which make most people anxious in its use.

The Na'rin Membrane is above all else a living creature, meaning it gets hungry. The Na'rin usually feeds off of the natural gunk of the eye, tears, stray particles, etc... However after prolonged use, this is no longer enough to sustain the Na'rin, as such if the membrane is active for too long it will begin to eat the wearers eye beginning with the cornea and moving its way back. This process is incredibly painful and it is difficult to dislodge the Na'rin once it has begun consumption.

Lastly, due to its nature, it is fairly easy to damage the Na'rin Membrane with a bright flash of light or a powerful surge of electricity. This usually causes the Na'rin to retreat almost immediately, returning to hits place within the eyesocket so that it may recover. If the damage is severe enough however it can cause the Na'rin to clamp down and blind the user and rendering them in quite a bit of pain.
