Accessibility:
Typically to be found in the financial districts of major urban centers, on the worlds in which they are present, Nakaioma Regional Headquarters' are often easy to find, and hard to miss, what with the large well-lit corporate logos at the top of each of the two towers' four faces. The bottom floors of each tower are open to the public, where an array of restaurants, cafes, bars, gymnasiums, clothing outlets, and other such stores exist, both present to service the employees within the Headquarters, as well as the general public. The second floors, and everything above however are strictly off-limits to non-Nakaioma personnel, and well-guarded.

Description:
Blocky, generic, and practical, though with a strange appeal depending on one's taste in architecture. Nakaioma Regional Headquarters are designed to be easy, cost effective buildings to construct, which serve their purpose, as many of them have been built throughout civilized space. Depending on the world, they can be among the tallest buildings in the visible skyline, or smaller. Also depending on the world, and the amount of operations Nakaioma maintains in the region that the RH serves, the physical size of the Regional Headquarters itself may differ, with some being only 80-100 floors, and others reaching 300 floors tall. Like Nakaioma Plaza itself, the practical, and corporate feel of the buildings' exteriors are contrasted by the well-decorated, traditional Onami-chi styled interiors. Visitors are greeted in the second floor lobbies with reflecting pools, portraits, shrines, and imported trees.

Building Alpha: The tallest building in the facility that makes up any given Regional Headquarters, Building Alpha, also known as Tower Alpha is where the regional operations of the corporation, and its subsidiaries are directed from. Home to several different corporations, all under the umbrella of Nakaioma, the building is divided into sections, where these different subsidiaries command, and organize their activities in the region. A complex hive of administrative work, offices, data servers, monitoring equipment, R&D laboratories, meeting rooms, assembly halls, and storage rooms, it is here where most of the work in the facility gets done.

Building Beta: The second tallest building in any given Regional Headquarters facility, this is where the RH's connection to the greater corporation is maintained. Home to 'Corporate' personnel, as in specialized personnel dispatched from Nakaioma Plaza to oversee the running of Regional Headquarters, Building Beta is where the state-of-the-art communications equipment needed for secure, and instant connection to Regional Offices, other Regional Headquarters, and Nakaioma Plaza, is stored. Alongside this, Building Beta is home to the RH's security quarters, and barracks, along with the Regional Director's office, various intelligence-related apparatus, and offices. More secretive, and better guarded than even Building Alpha, many floors in Building Beta are often restricted to personnel in Building Alpha, requiring S4 and above clearance on occasion.

Elevated Walkways: Connecting the lower levels of Tower Alpha, and Tower Beta together, these elevated walkways are one of the most immediately noticeable features of the design of the facilities, and a good indication of the shared ownership of the two physically separate buildings. S2 Clearance, or S1 Special Permission is required to access these walkways.

Second Floor Lobby: Although these lobbies exist in both Tower Alpha, and Tower Beta, it is the one in Alpha, which most visitors, and employees of the Regional Headquarters will see. With the lobby in Beta often kept for important visitors, 'Corporate' officials, and authorized personnel of Tower Beta. Designed after the Central Lobby in Nakaioma Plaza, these large halls are meant to impress, decorated with beautiful pieces of artwork, accompanied by reflecting pools, a water fountain, and a large Utsuki flower symbol, the logo of the corporation, built into the wall behind the receptionist desks. Along the walls, scrolling LED screens present those waiting in the lobby with galactic news, and updates on the stock exchange. Seating areas located throughout give visitors a place to wait, while a number of elevators exist to allow rapid transit to higher floors.

Roof Landing Pads: A number of landing pads are situated on the roofs of both towers, restricted to Nakaioma-affiliated aircraft only, they are supervised by air defense weapons, and only hold enough parking room for a small number of craft. Meaning that most landing vessels must depart after dropping off their passengers, ships, and speeders that are cleared to hold these parking spots often belong to executive-level personnel, or important visitors.

Executive Quarters: It is often said by Nakaioma employees that the higher one goes in an RH tower, the more expensive everything becomes. This is somewhat true, as the executive-level personnel, who are in-charge of the regional operations of the corporation, and its subsidiaries, reside here. Trademarked with spacious offices, statues of past CEOs, Onami-chi historical heroes, paintings, small in-door gardens, and a few single-room recreational facilities. Nakaioma's usual modus operandi of practicality seemingly goes out the window with these borderline decadent upper floors. Guests of executive Nakaioma personnel are brought here to negotiate deals, or to simply have a good time, and many a-government representative has had their opinion swayed by the parties that occasionally happen here.

Security Quarters: A staple of the high security environment of any important Nakaioma asset, the security quarters of every Regional Headquarters can be found in Tower Beta. Kitted out with surveillance equipment, military-grade firepower in storage, barracks where stationed security officers live, a mess hall for them to eat, communal toilets, showers, and changing rooms. Not to mention secured with blast doors, and durasteel wall lining, these SecQuarters can be turned into verifiable fortresses in the event of an attack on the Headquarters. The surveillance apparatus here not only finds use in securing the facilities themselves, but also frequently sees itself with eyes turned towards the surrounding city, and even beyond, depending on the need.

Aerial Monitoring Station: Near the center of Tower Beta, this floor is responsible for the Nakaioma-owned airspace that surroundings the headquarters. Coordinating with local Osato Aerospace starports, HSG Shipping traffic and other Nakaioma-affiliated air and space traffic. They are the top dog when it comes to the corporation's regional transportation. Making the final say in related decisions. Outfitted with state-of-the-art sensors, they keep a close eye on the skies around the two buildings.

Employee Sleeping Quarters: Smaller than their counterparts in Nakaioma Plaza, these de-facto capsule hotels are located every few floors in each tower, and exist for employees that require them for one reason or another. Each Quarters can house fifty employees for the night, and even this supply does not meet the demand on particularly busy days of the year. Equipped with high-speed HoloNet connections, they ensure that employees can still continue their work, with some additional comfort.

Regional Headquarters Medcenter: A large hospital intended for dealing with injuries, and employee sickness, though also capable of accepting emergency authorized patients from outside if necessary. The size, and purpose of these medcenters can change drastically depending on how far away the nearest official Nakaioma Corporate Medcenter is. Although every Regional Headquarters comes with facility-wide Rescue-Recovery insurance, as to ensure efficient, and quick transportation of any injured, or otherwise unwell personnel to the nearest Nakaioma Medical medcenter. It can be found in Tower Alpha, near the middle floors of the building.

Communications Hub: Officially a single hub, in reality it is divided into two separate control centers, one in Building Alpha, and one in Building Beta. Though closely connected, and in constant contact with one another, the primary difference in the two is their intended purpose, capable of conducting the same functions, and operations as each other. Alpha's communications hub is focused around regional operations, and contact with the Regional Offices, while Beta's communications hub is focused on contact with the greater corporation, other Regional Headquarters, and Nakaioma Plaza. This is intentional, as to insulate the command structure, and allow a "Need to know" basis to exist among personnel.

Holding Facilities: Located near the top of Tower Beta, not far down from the Regional Director's office, these prison cells are intended for those that 'Corporate' deems worthy of interrogation. While the cells themselves are completely cut off from the world, with no windows, or natural light sources, prisoners are frequently brought to the questioning rooms which exist on the floor above, where a variety of "Enhanced Questioning Equipment" exists to make them more agreeable with their captors. These two floors are soundproofed, for obvious reasons.

Intelligence Department: Reserved for Nakaioma Intelligence, these floors are strictly off-limits to all non-Intelligence, or otherwise unauthorized employees in the buildings. Located in Tower Beta, they would appear to be as boring as the ordinary offices of Tower Alpha, composed simply of a combination of open-space and cubicle organized meshes of meeting rooms and personal work spaces. It is the content of what occurs on these floors however that makes them so special.

Support Sector: The unofficial name for the floors of Tower Alpha that house the branch's legal, public relations and human resources departments. They are technically separate, but often meld into one general 'area' of the building. It is here that lower-level employees and interns are often sent on runs to acquire or deliver paperwork, not because its needed, but more to break them into the way things are run.

Research & Development: A series of laboratories and meeting rooms, it is here, much like their counterparts in Nakaioma Plaza, that a great deal of administrative and 'finalizing' work is done based on developments made by other, more classified and well hidden facilities throughout the region that the RH serves. Almost painfully white in color palette, employees are required to wash their hands when entering and leaving, as well as to take off their shoes.

Executive Offices: Different from the Executive Quarters, as these rooms are where the majority of the higher level administration actually gets done. These offices are not located in any one singular place, but spread out between departments, and can be found in both buildings. Incredibly large and spacious, these offices are typically decorated with flora, artwork and a wall-consuming window with a great view. It is here that department heads, visiting board members and executives of the various subsidiaries work. Strictly off limits without approval.

Standard Offices: Separated based on subsidiary corporation and department, these offices-- which are composed of cubicle layouts, open floor layouts and a variety of meeting and conference rooms-- make up the vast majority of the two towers' office space. On most days they are incredibly quiet, as thousands of employees sit glued to their monitors and holograms. Sleek black floors and walls contrast with red and white lighting, the atmosphere is almost oppressive, and the corporation's logo is printed everywhere.

Cargo Sector: Located underneath Building Alpha, the cargo sector is the name given to a series of subterranean warehouses and transportation networks for the storage and movement of supplies, and precious cargo either belonging to or otherwise in the Regional Headquarters' care. A specialized elevator can take newly arrived cargo from the rooftop landing pads down to the Cargo Sector within a minute or so. While a highly guarded rear entrance to the underground facilities takes most of the two buildings' daily material requirements.

Maximum. Though, as one might expect, not as well-protected as Nakaioma Plaza, the Regional Headquarters' of the corporation's galactic-wide operations are still very well guarded. Depending on the world on which it is located, with the safer ones maintaining less physical security, and the more dangerous ones maintaining more physical security, the high level of cyber, and digital security does not change however. Air defenses on the roofs of the towers patrolled the skies for unauthorized incoming vessels, or speeders, while armed guards, courtesy of Nakaioma Security Services patrol the ground level of the facilities, and the surrounding streets. It is generally advised against provoking these security officers, as due to corporate influence, they usually have a great degree of immunity, and autonomy in the area immediately surrounding the Regional Headquarters. The interior of the buildings are protected by camera networks, sensors, Blaster Nullification Generators, scanners and automated turrets hidden within the ceilings. The exterior is closely watched by cameras, as well as constant physical patrols and another variety of sensors, including motion detectors, audio listeners and more.

Modelled after the corporation's first regional headquarters, built on Naboo, the Nakaioma Regional Headquarters design has become synonymous throughout the galaxy with the Nakaioma brand. Though far from being as widespread, or numerous as the Regional, or Local Offices which they hold control over, very far from it indeed, they have regardless been taken into the public consciousness due to their prominence in any skyline they become apart of. No small part due to their brightly illuminated logos. Though proving to be a benefit in ease of construction, planning, and cost effectiveness, the generic, one-size-fits-all nature of the Regional Headquarters design is only one half of the equation. As they were intentionally chosen to be this way, as part of establishing the corporation's uniformity, aesthetic, and prolific growth, they were, and still are in many ways intended to be a symbol of Nakaioma's expansion, across the galaxy.

Popular with the Raiko-chi faction within the corporation, these structures came under fire from the Michiko-chi, as the business model of their development largely came to fruition under the same operating concepts as the Raiko-chi. Across many worlds, Commenor, and Christophsis in-particular, the buildings have met opposition from the local communities, and even governments, due to them sticking out like sore thumbs when placed into certain, more traditional, or uniquely aesthetic skylines. Needless to say, they were built in the end anyway. Effective in their role as command, and coordinate centers for vast areas of space, administering Nakaioma business across hundreds of worlds, and systems that surround them. They are incredibly busy hubs of activity, and corporate on goings. Like many other corporate facilities throughout the galaxy, but especially in the case of Regional Headquarters, evacuation contingencies are well practiced, in the event of an invasion, or other such attack/crisis on their world of origin. In the past, several branches have been forced to evacuate for some of these reasons.
