- Two Droidbrains: The unique facet t this training droid is the co-op droidbrains. One brain analyzes the trainee's bio-signs and potential skill level. The redundant droidbrain accesses the stored programming and offers a proposed strategy based on the information. The primary brain takes the information and executes the strategy. While this can be done with a singular AI, this allows for faster analysis, response for a more efficient and challenging training session.
- Little to no "shell": The open-air design allows for a higher range of motion.
- ENERGY ABSORBENT: This efficiency is not meant for combat, but for "live-fire" exercises. The purpose is not to continue fighting (the adaptive AI shuts the droid down upon registering a "hit") the design is to make the droid re-usable.
- KINETIC AND ELEMENTAL ABSORBENT: This part of the design allows for the droid, and the trainee to be able to operate in multiple environments.
- ADAPTIVE A.I.: This innovation is meant to analyze a trainee's natural abilities and adapt accordingly. This allows for an instructor to simply say "teach them (insert skill)" and walk away.
- DIRECTIVE #1: There is a reason for the onboard bio-scanners. This droid WILL NOT take a life. No matter the situation, it is the primary programming note.
- WEAK LIGHTSABER PROTECTION: The ultrachrome protects the droid from outright destruction, but this design is a safeguard should a catastrophic accident arise.
- NO SONIC/EMP PROTECTION: The open-air design offers a lot of perks to the droid's capabilities, but like all droids, there are little to no protective sequences to account for an EMP or Sonic attack. Now, this does not really matter on a training droid, but it is there nonetheless.
Jedi Master Caltin Vanagor is pretty much "hands-off" when it comes to the operation of Guardian Authority Ltd. When he does order the design of something, it is usually to address a specific need in his life or surroundings. These droids are no exception. While training droids are "a dime a dozen" one droid can fulfill multiple roles, something that was unforeseen before, having to be pre-programmed and re-programmed for changes.in curriculum.
