Mon Calamari, Dac system, on board the Obscurity.

Darth Vazela, Lord of the Sith, the Dac system and the third Sector of the Empire, by the appointment of Kaine Zambrano, Emperor of the Sith. The darkened robe of the Sith Lord hung behind him, with it's cowl raised over his head, concealing his features. He was stood on board his flagship, the Attrition-class Star Destroyer, the Obscurity. He was watching the oceanic world below him, Mon Calmari, which held the same shipyards that had assembled the Star Destroyer all those years ago. He had made way to the capital to see to it that his flagship was given the necessary resources, as well as the oversight needed. It had been a year since the Obscurity docked with a shipyard for maintenance.

Behind him, he heard the movements of Hawke Katamith, an officer in the Sith Empire. Following the events of the recent Jedi incursion on Togoria, during the enslavement process of the Togorians, the officer had an unfortunate lapse of concentration and decided that it would be a splendid idea to yell at him that he would be better off dying in a ditch, for what he, Zambrano and the other Sith were doing. "You should have kept yourself quiet, Katamirth," he whispered. In the empty room, it was audible enough. She couldn't respond, as she had been held in place at the foot of his throne, hands held up by a piece of fiber wire connected to it's arm rest. He could sense her pain, by the unnatural angle at which she hung and the way the wire was digging into her hands, with every passing second. He relished it.

And so he continued to wait for the arrival of the Sith that had heeded his call for the dominion of Mytus VII. Together, they would be the "Mytus Lords of the Unknown". He smiled at his comical play on words.

Brutus steered the borrowed Interceptor-class star fighter up towards the Attrition-class Star Destroyer that was used for a flagship by Lord Vazela. He activated the commlink that was attached on the dashboard inside the cockpit of the star fighter, and patched onto Lord Vazela's flagship. "Lord Vazela or any commanding officer onboard. This is Apprentice of the Empire Brutus Tyval requesting permission to come onboard your flagship." The voice of Brutus was rather hurried and almost sounded as if Brutus was injured. However, that was a piece for another moment to be revealed.

Mystus VII floated before Marcus as he looked at the planet from the bridge of the Black Sky with curiosity. The planet was often avoided, even by smugglers and other low lives that fancied themselves as fearless, that alone made it an even greater prize in the eyes of Marcus. Hands behind his back, and saber guard at his side, he pondered what to do as his first move. The two Dominus's were already prepping for takeoff, and the 142nd was running through their final deployment equipment check. Marcus was feeling a blitzkrieg style assault at the moment. Unless instructed otherwise by @[member="Vilox Pazela"] he would do just that, the 142nd was certainly capable of such an assault, but Marcus' superior may have had other ideas.

The Obscurity. Deck: Bridge, operations area.

Malus Bligh recoiled into his seat, arms resting on the command seats arm rests. He was observing the several read outs, indicating the coming and going traffic that was moving around and through the Dac system. Currently, a registered twelve percent of incoming and out going ships were coming from the Mon Calamari shipyards, situated just below the Obscurity and her hangar bay, where it was receiving transports of goods and so on. He had personally made the request from the Mon Calamari engineers to begin devilvery of hardware, software and building materials for a listening out post, as well as several transmitter beacons that would be deployed between the Outer Rim Territories and the Unknown Regions, which would be the Obscurity's next heading.

"Sir, we have an incoming transmission from a Sith apprentice by the name of Brutus Tyval, requesting permission to come aboard and meet with Lord Vazela," said the communications officer to his side.
"Respond to Tyval that he has permission to come aboard," Malus replied, nodding his head. He turned back to reading the data layouts and planning a course for the Mytus system. He did not know much about Mytus VII or why the Empire was expanding out so far. But he presumed that he would find out soon enough, in time.

Brutus acknowledged the permission and saw the hangar doors open up from the middle to each side, left and right. He steered the Interceptor-class star fighter into the hangar bay and lowered the landing gear. A minute later the star fighter was landed on the floor in the hangar bay, and the canopy slid forwards to open up for Brutus. With a single empowerment from the Force, Brutus flipped out from the cockpit and landed with stability on the ground. He began to walk away from his ship and waved a hand towards some droids. "Run an analysis on the ship, see if any damage has been made to it. I also want it refueled", Brutus gave his words out towards the droids whom immediately all ran to the ship in order to fur fill the wishes of Brutus. He was after all an Apprentice and they were droids.

Brutus made his way towards the commanding deck to meet with Lord Vazela. The gates for the deck slid open from the middle to each side, and Brutus made his way through. The long, black cloak hung down his back and the cowl placed over his head, hiding most of his features. Only a glimpse of the maroon red skin and the blazing red eyes were visible, for those who stood in front of him. He walked up towards Vazela, before dropping onto his right knee, the other leg ninety degrees bent and his foot kept the leg up. He looked up towards the Sith Lord infront of him, and then lowered his head again.

"Lord Vazela."

The hooded, darkened figure turned away from the transparisteel screen, which covered the entire front end of the observational deck to reveal the stars and in this case Mon Calamari, to the Sith apprentice that had called his name. He studied the individual quietly, briefly averting his gaze from Brutus to Hawke. Turning his yellow predatory eyes back to the kneeling man, he did not yet give him permission to rise. He simply asked, "What is your name?"

Brutus merely looked up towards the rather large figure of Darth Vazela, and then bent his head downwards to remain showing respect. "Brutus Tyval, my Lord." The eyes of Brutus had never been so wide when he was in a conversation, the nervosity was almost taking over his mind. He remained kneeled until Vazela said otherwise, and awaited his next question. If any.

"Brutus Tyval... Rise." Turning slowly back to the transparisteel screen, he settled his eyes on the oceanic world below him. "You may join me at my side."

"Do you know why you have come, Brutus Tyval?" he said, when the man joined the Lord of the Sith at the grand sight that was before them. His thoughts were also on the woman behind them. He would use her as a lesson for Brutus to understand the price of insolence. She would be useful in that respect, for he already felt his nervousness, which betrayed his fear.

Doing exactly what Lord Vazela told him to do, Brutus rose to his feet and stood beside the tall man, clad in his black robes. "Thank you, my Lord", Brutus made it clear that he had the out most respect for Vazela, and even feared him. "I have a few ideas about why I am here, my Lord. I believe that we are on schedule to take over a new planet." Brutus gazed at the man next to him but more or less stared at the grand sight before him. Brutus nervousity became more and more unclear to himself as he talked more with Lord Vazela. Perhaps this nervousity came from the unknown, because after all, Vazela was still pretty unknown to Brutus.

He couldn't just let her die to escape this pain. Maybe the universe was just enjoying her as some cosmic plaything for their sick sense of humor? it mattered not, she'd live or die. Thats how the universe went. Hawke would not go quietly in to the night though. She would be defiant to her end, no torture could break her. What little saliva she had gathered in the corner of her mouth. When there was enough she spit it out towards Brutus in an arcing shot. Hawke's aim was true and it landed atop his head, clearing that freakishly long neck he had. Grinning widely for them to see she would not be bested.

Brutus turned around at her once he felt the spit land upon the cowl. A frown emerged on his forehead and his eyebrows arched upwards. He shot a thick glance towards Vazela, and then stared back towards the woman who had shown clear disrespect towards him. He forced his hand forward into a flick towards her throat and channeled the Force from his very own aura towards the end of his palm. The Force was ejected from his palm and weaved around her throat, to choke her within a matter of seconds.

Hawke impulsively tried to grasp her throat, her wires about the wrists prevented that action of course. That grimy Sith scum was choking her rather well. "Tha..all..yo...g.t". Her remaining breath wouldn't last forever. But it was not Brutus' right to kill her simply because she slighted him. Only Vazela himself could do that, or the only one present anyways. Lacking in the Emperors bearded glory. If it wasn't for that she knew he would let her live yet, not having had enough fun torturing her. She would of made a much greater effort to escape and reveal her secret. But hope remained yet, she had allies, and family to count on.

Brutus looked deep into the eyes of Hawke, and instead of killing her thought that she could be used as a small tool. He kept the choke weaved around her throat until she felt dizzy from the suffocation, but then let the Force release her on his order, and he spat in her face himself. Brutus turned towards Vazela and bowed. "Sorry for the mess, my Lord." Brutus said.

Some things were best left untouched. It was the motto of some, but it certaimly didn't apply to the empire. And because of that, once again Kathryn had found herself conscripted into the ever growing efforts of the Empire to dominate the Galaxy. She sat aboard one of the troop transports, alongside her fellow acolytes, and began to mentallmy prepare herself for the likely outcome of violent action on the ground. She didn't want to be in the first ship on world - that was more likely than not a suicide mission. Better to come in the second wave, and let others sacrifice themselves as a distraction.

It was common for acolytes to be requisitioned into this sort of military action - they were viewed as cannon fodder by the higher ups. Yet they were the perfect way for a Sith warrior to distinguish themself. After all, valor in combat was a valuable commodity to have in an Empire built on strength and power.

(Received invitation from @[member="Vilox Pazela"])

I smiled as the Apprentice was choking the woman. Clearly he did not know that this was not his to control. Nor did he think that just because he was a Sith, and could use his powers, mean that he should use them. Walking from the back of the bridge where in the Shadows I had stayed watching all that was happening, I walked forwards. Moving towards this Brutus or what ever. Speaking in a rather deep tone. It was apparent that I had a smile on my face, but hidden from the white helmet and cowl that I wore.

"Call yourself a Sith do ya? Who says you have the right to choke the woman."

Being a Former sith and now working with the Lord on his ship I shook my head. "Take it like a man Sith apprentice. Ruling by fear will only get you killed, or worse." Walking over to the officer I placed a hand on her shoulder. "Spit again and you may get worse, young one." Walking up to Lord Vazela, and standing on the other side that the apprentice did not take. I looked out into the view ports at the water planet below. I had been here a few times before. Only to meet someone that was now long gone. "Have any plan's lord?"

[OOC: For all those late coming into the thread, you can just roleplay already being on board the Obscurity and we shall continue from there.]

Throughout the entirety of Hawke Katamirth's miniature ordeal to the hands of Brutus Tyval, Vazela maintained his gaze on the transparisteel screen ahead of him. When he was finished and the young Sith apprentice apologized for the inconvenience, the Lord of the Sith still did not turn. It was the Sith way to punish in such a way, but it was not his. Hawk had only suffered the injury on Togoria because he had rebounded the turbolaser fired from her blaster back onto her with his Lightsaber. He had kept her alive to change her mind set as well, not as a form of torture, but as a lesson.

"Do you understand the price for the insolence you displayed on Togoria, Katamirth?" he said, barely above a whisper. As he finished talking, a voice came into the room, "Call yourself a Sith do ya? Who says you have the right to choke the woman." Turning his eyes, he saw through the reflection off the transparisteel screen that it was Darren Shaw, member of the Order of Black Hand, like he. He presumed that Shaw thought that he had managed to enter the Obscurity unnoticed, but he knew from the disturbance in the force he felt. He couldn't say the same for Malus Bligh or the other members of the Star Destroyer's crew. Then again, Shaw was a smart individual and thus had the perspective that he, Vilox Pazela, was fully capable of knowing that he had managed to get aboard unnoticed, especially given the fact that Shaw knew of the brilliant facade he had forged over the entire Sith Empire.

"Take it like a man Sith apprentice. Ruling by fear will only get you killed, or worse." As Shaw finished his talking to Brutus and moved to Hawk, saying to her, "Spit again and you may get worse, young one," the Sith Lord thought about the future. It was slowly piecing together that he wished to do what those certain Dark Jedi had done before him. Ajunta Pall and his following of Dark Jedi, exiled out of known space to the fringes of the unknown follow the Hundred Year Darkness. It was those exiles that had founded the Sith Empire and discovered the Sith species. Sorzus Syn had even been the creator of the Sith code that men such as Kaine Zambrano followed to this day. But their legacy had become deformed and changed from what they wanted their Empire to be. It was their intentions to forge an Empire to challenge the might of the Jedi Order and the Republic that the Jedi served, in order to topple them from their perch and rule for themselves.

It was that source of revenge that the Sith had followed for generations. Destroy the Jedi and they would be free to rule an entire galaxy. And why stop there? Invaders such as the Yuuzhan Vong to the Abominor that he had explored upon a month ago, Unicron as Circe Savan learned to be it's name, were testimony to the fact that there were so many other galaxies waiting to be taken under the banner of the glorious Empire that Pall, Syn and the others that were the first Lords of the Sith envisioned. But their legacy hadn't lived up to their expectations. Subsequently, the Sith were a failure...

"Welcome, Veteran," the hooded man responded. Turning his gaze to Brutus, he said to him, "Head to the bridge and order Bligh to head to the Mytus system." He turned his gaze back to the transparisteel screen, waiting for him see to his new allocated task.

Given the nod towards Vilox, Brutus headed off towards the bridge with a rather rushed pace. Many hallways and many turbolifts later, Brutus arrived safe and sound at the bridge and strolled up towards the figure of Marcus. Brutus thought to himself that he had never seen such an ugly man before, but ignored the facial appearance and rather began to speak with his harsh, grim and raspy voice. "Orders from Lord Vazela; head to the Mytus system, immediately", his voice commanded. Brutus turned around and glanced around the cockpit windows of the bridge, smiling at the beautiful surroundings that he was in.

Malus looked up to the approaching Sith apprentice and listened intently to the Massassi's gruff tones as he relayed Vazela's orders to him. "Orders from Lord Vazela; head to the Mytus system, immediately." Nodding his head in response to Brutus Tyval, Malus lowered his head to him before responding, "Yes, my Lord. It will be done."

Turning his attention to the helm, he gazed upon the helmsmen and said, "Set course for the Unknown Regions. I am relaying to you our intelligence on the Mytus system to your navi computer." He lifted his hand on the arm rest and began typing into the keyboard attached to it. On the screen ahead, he saw that his commands had been registered by the computer and had begun sending the intelligence file provided to him. The helmsmen turned on his seat just as the screen told Malus that the file had been sent. "File received sir..." Turning back to his controls, he laid in a course into the Obscurity's navigational computer and said, "Course set. Engaging hyperdrive."

Coordinates placed into the Star Destroyer's computer, the Obscurity powered up it's hyperdrive and thus a hyperspace window was formed. It then headed into the vortex and begun it's voyage to Mytus VII. Malus leaned back in his seat, satisfied with his work.

On board the Obscurity, Circe's Aleph resided cautiously in the ship's hangar. She herself cautiously caressed the craft's forward solar array as she eagerly watched the subjugation of Mytus VII. Things were quite intriguing. She smiled, knowing that Vazela had plans for this planet. Eventually, though, she intended to subjugate a world within her realm of influence. The subjugation would certainly be sweet and enjoyable.

Well, at least she'd be able to lay some ship-building facilities on the planet. Perhaps some for droids as well...

"Good work, Commander Bligh", Brutus harsh and raspy voice escaped from his vocal cord. Brutus sent a court nod towards Bligh and turned around with his body, but arched his head in rotation towards Bligh. "Keep the good work up and my Lord may reward you with.. something". Brutus merely smiled towards Bligh and began to walk away from the bridge once more, towards the turbolift that lead down to the deck where Vazela was stationed.

A few moments later.

"Lord Vazela. We are on our way to the Mytus system."
Brutus walked towards a chair that was located in the room, and sat down comfortably with a small glance up towards Vazela.
