- Power Glove Tech enables a user to exert a larger amount of force than they are normally capable of, though not quite on the scale of a Crushgaunt.
- Electric Pulsers are embedded in the glove, enabling the user to output electrical-based shocks.
- Ultrachrome Wiring to give a significantly increased output in a much smaller package.
- Sleek Black Finish tops it all off, giving off the appearance of a formal work glove befitting a bartender.
- Optional Weapons Link - Paired with a suit or body glove, it can link to applicable weapons and transmit the data to systems.
- To do this, it can magnetically adhere to a weapon. This, at the same time, protects from it being pulled from their grasp.
STRENGTHS
- Discrete: The gloves can be easily integrated with just about any clothing so long as you have the power source. They look as normal as any formal gloves would.
- Death Grip: The gloves (disguised as formal black gloves) can create effects in a similar manner to a Crushgaunt through the use of Power glove technology. However, the sheer bone-crushing strength of the glove has been traded in for a more direct approach. Through the use of a fine-tuned frequency mimicking that of a Force Pike, the glove outputs a devastating electrical shock that could stun even a wookie in mere moments. Should a target manage to withstand the initial shock, the electrical shock can be coursed through a subject with an impressive (Borderline Extreme) stopping power.
- Link: As with most of Samuel’s technology, it can all be linked back to his suit and integrated to be manipulated by an AI. Furthermore, it can be hand-linked to weapons which, depending on the on-board computer, can provide a panoply of information such as ammunition, targeting info, and even more complicated things such as trajectories and predictive algorithms.
- Light Magna-Glove Tech: For the link to work, the glove needs to have a fairly steadfast grip on the weapon. To ensure this, a small amount of Magnetic technology has been implemented, making it much more difficult for it to leave his grasp. This also doubles as insurance that his weapon won’t be Force Pulled - an occurrence that he is no stranger to in his previous career.
WEAKNESSES
- EMP/Ion: Direct EMP/Ion hits are likely to short it out, and more extreme bursts can disable it. While it’s reinforced to withstand such assaults, it’s still just a small glove, and does not provide nearly as much protection against that compared to standard armor.
- One or the Other: The Magnetic function cannot be used at the same time as the Pulser tech. This is likely to hamper close-quarters fights where both would be handy to have at the same time.
- Power-Intensive Hold: The Force Pike Frequency Pulser tech shouldn’t be used constantly, as it is not meant to sustain longer than a minute, if that. It’s designed for swift, efficient takedowns, not long-winded duels, and thus should only be activated when a hold is already secured.
- Needs A Power Source: Of course, none of the functions of the glove would properly work without being linked to a power source of some kind, making it much more difficult to implement into everyday attire.
DESCRIPTION
You know when bouncers put their hand on you as a way to let you know it’s time to go? A lot of people, in Samuel’s experience, like to try to pull a quickdraw or a quick jab to show appreciation. To limit this, he has incorporated gloves of his personal design that he has long since been a fan of - Electric Pulser gloves. Based on the concept of the Lightning Glove, it functions as a discrete way to deal with would-be threats, or as a desperate hand-to-hand option. It looks like nothing more than a formal work glove that a bartender would typically wear, and thus blends in with his normal attire fluidly without arousing much suspicion.
