DESCRIPTION
The model was created around 800 ABY, a part of the MPO cruiser series. The MPO-4000 is much larger version than its previous model, since it is meant to function as a grand casino and hotel of sorts. The Solar Strider got its name for its golden geometric decorations inspired by solar flares, the star cruiser is well known for its large windows on the sides of the ship which are meant for its main function. Rather than leisurely going through space as other luxury cruisers, the Solar Strider travels planet to planet to act as a stationary hotel and spectator viewing. Due to its large viewing windows and bountiful holographic displays this star cruise became extremely popular for viewing sports such as Huttball, Riotracing, Podracing, Iceboarding, and blood sports. The events attended by the Solar Strider could be as big as the Cloud City Grand Pix or simply reserved private events.

For floor plan, see spoiler.

The floor plan shown below is not up to scale. I have horrible architectural skills, this is a general idea. These illustrations do not include the "bottom" level which is where the hangar bay is located, so technically there are 4 levels total, and of course, there are a lot of mezzanines between the levels... Lounge is spelled wrong!!
