If you want substantive gains, poking, and not a ton of tentacularity, Erilnar comes to mind - capital of the Centrality, and I think there's at least a couple of major corporations with operations out there. Sanctuary could be pretty cool too, or Saleucami if you want to get tentacular. Still thinking southerly, Chandaar would be a solid move; it's a significant Tionese world. That's just off the top of my head, so take it all with a grain of salt.

Some good ideas here.

I think we can manage 1 dom in the north, 1 in the south, taken in turns. The north bolsters our position whilst the south gets us more useful positions

Makes sense to me. For the north, are you thinking northeast to fatten us up, or far north for the tentacle, to further cut off the Primeval?

[member="Valiens Nantaris"] - well, tentacularly speaking, Mytus is where Stars' End was - airless rock, not much there. X-377E is Mad Max World, population 10,000 not including tumbleweeds. Eclipstica is a low-population place with a Dark Side nexus and, uh, a broken throne. Argo is Popo's crystalline world, and is extremely cool. Trian could be fun if we want to mess around with Trianii Rangers (and if any among us are of the catgirl appreciator persuasion). Bosph, like Eclipstica (and Morellia), used to be some little Sith group's hometown and could have some good hooks; I think it also has a unique historical Force tradition among the natives.

Since I'm on a roll, here's a quick runthrough of the best prospects for dominions in other directions:

Kelsier - has stygium. On a hidden planet ruled by paranoid echani.

Kyrikal - has multiple inhabited worlds, lots of Mon Cals and Ithorians and sandworms and virtually every Fallanassi in the galaxy

Chandaar - helps close the gap and firm us up; major Tion Cluster world.

Vorzyd - multiple inhabited wealthy worlds.

Those are the most strategically interesting ones within immediate strike range, I think.

We want to bolster our tentacles after all!

Naughty tentacles? This is taking us to a rather disturbing mental place...

On a more serious note, nice suggestions for planets. I'll go have a look. :)

I remember the Deep Sea thread involving them. It was fun.

That's awesome and a lovely approach to character development. And you'll make it back to knighthood in no time, particularly if Coci Heavenshield has her way.

Thanks! I wrote myself into a corner with her for a while, but the reboot seems to have helped a lot. Maybe I'll * gasp * actually try to make her a light side char...since right now I only have a light side NPC. * continues trying to resist [member="Coci Heavenshield"]'s Force Persuade to make a Jedi *

Definitely on the top of the list when we push southeast. They're kind of protected, so we can annex them at our leisure.

No suggestion beyond whatever planet best helps our cloud/game situation.

Same. I'm flexible, beyond not liking too many tentacles because of reasons! Chandaar has its appeal. Or we say hi to the Hutts. :D

Hmm. This thread is getting super long. Let's just...dominion some planet. If need be decide by throwing a dice. :D
