Wasn't/isn't there a dominion of this world currently going on? I don't remember itt might have been a republic one and they lost it.

It was a Republic world once. They lost it due to the Netherworld event. The Republic currently has a Saleucami dominion, but it's unfinished and has only 37 posts. The last one was on September 30.

IF it does end up that the Contruum win separates Ossus from the rest of the Republic, I'm assuming it would still take a Dominion to gain it, I suppose the best term would be protectorate? There's plenty to do on a planet that isn't taking over or looting, especially if we're setting up guardianship as such. Setting up additional defenses and whatnot could take at least a hundred posts unless they're rather large ones.

That said, we could easily do another dom to the south in the time remaining before map update. Scillal would allow southward movement but also somewhat east, possibly enough to put the Hutts on edge but not feel threatened enough that they strike first. And it's a known starship producer, not that said detail matters much with the dev threads here.
