Moonbeams, dewdrops, and wisties (OPEN)

The moonlight’s rays filtered through the trees onto the quant, hidden field on Endor. The petals to a small, rosy-tulip began to stretch open as an even smaller being stirred inside. Ethereal-skin brushed against the soft petals as Evangeline sat-up and stretched her wings. The moonlight reflected in her molten-gold eyes. The night was just beginning and for firefolk this was the prime time of day.

“C’mon princess, you’ve got moonlight flower duty, tonight. We can’t have an off-season again.” Flitting into the sky, Evan frowned as she danced around Ralph, the guardian, in the night air. The field began to grow with pinpricks of fast moving light as other wisties took flight to attend to their duties or to chase the lightning bugs in a game of tag.

“But the hu-umans are back and they’re getting closer; I thought we were going to send out a scouting party to-,” she was quickly silenced by Ralph’s disapproving look.

“Dangerous work for a princess. You know better.”

“But I-“

“No and that’s final. If I catch you anywhere near there, I’ll report you to the Queen herself.”

Oh great, mom,” she muttered beneath her breath, getting a stern look from the guardian. “Okay, fiiiiiiiiiiiine,” with a sigh, she flitted away. Once she was sure she wasn’t being watched or followed by the guardians, she headed straight toward the campfires. She just wanted one look. One look wouldn’t hurt anybody, right? She had never seen one of the hu-umans and the bears they worked with hardly counted as anything spectacular. This, this was something spectacular.

Regor walked truw the forest, hearing some slavers were hold up in the desolate forced, he looked around amassed by the natural beauty of the forced* "this really is a wonderful place" @[member="Evangeline Sage"]

Veino sat quietly, listening to the sounds of the forest around him, knees drawn up and arms wrapped around them. His chin rested on his knees. The forest and it sounds were calming to him. So was his small fire. It was good to step back from the rest of the galaxy. It was so chaotic out there. And messy. Full of apathy. An odd sensation spread across him, like a cold block of ice had formed in his stomach. He considered it. Loneliness. He frowned. It felt odd. He took several deep breaths, calming his mind and let the emotion drift away. It lingered though. It was well and good for the Jedi to speak of there being no emotion and not being alone. They were spread all across the galaxy and at times thousands of other Jedi. Who did he have? Right now, nobody. He slumped forward, eyes closed and just listening now. It was almost like he could hear tiny voices flitting around. Odd. Maybe he should get some sleep. Rest, anyways. That was why he had hitchhiked his way here. Rest.

In the forest something made it's way silently, like a shadow, through the trees, jumping from one to another without making a sound. The Zyggerian queen had learned much in her training, mainly how to be stealthy as a....well you get the idea. Satine had heard rumors of the small firefolk in the area and, as curious as it was to see, she jumped at the opportunity to claim some for her own. Being a slaver she knew the value of a decent servant or captured prey, and while they were too small to preform tasks, a few of them would make good for pets. She'd brought an extra large electro-net just for that. As she made her way through the trees Satine stopped and noticed both @Regor Laxvan and @Veino Garn. She'd seen the latter before and knew to be wary of him, at least so he would not raise any alarm to the firefolk. She leapt over where he rested, not making a sound, before hiding among the canopy of leaves. Her feline ears perked as she began to hear the tiny voices of the folk, her mouth curling to a smirk and she looked towards the source.

In the deep forests of Endor, next to one such camp fire, sat a dark robed figure, his golden eyes staring off into the abyssal flame. The only sound emanating from the man was the soft, throaty spun of ragged breathing. Sadrion had come to the planet to make amends with himself. Xardus was not trying to break out of his conscious, he was at least grateful of that. However, he could feel his host's mind studying him, watching him somberly. Ever since Sadrion had committed murder a month earlier, the current controller of the body had been silent, only Xardus's thoughts and his own to keep him company. He needed silence. He needed solace. The lighter presence seemed to respect that, and he was grateful for it. Looking up into the trees, he have a small sigh.

regor approached the camp, feeling uneasy he shoulder his rifle, noticing the sleeping man he decided to wait just outside the light of the camp, suspecting this to be a trap* @[member="Evangeline Sage"] @[member="Sadrion"] @[member="Satine D'nara"] @[member="Veino Garn "]

Veino frowned, and sat up slightly. He felt something. A presence. Rather familiar. He'd sensed it before somewhere. Where had it been though? Or was it just some memory? He shivered, and reached for his lightsaber, grateful for its presence. He wasn't sure of the other things he could sense in the forest all around him. It seemed pretty busy for what he had hoped to be an isolated world. But that seemed to be his luck, anyways. As long as nothing dangerous happened it should be all right. He had a sinking feeling it wouldn't end up like that though. Like all famed destinations, their appeal of solitude tends to vanish as word gets out.

Wings carried her through the night air, zipping between leaves and branches. If any caught a glimpse of the princess' glowing form, they would probably think of her as a lightning bug or some sort of apparition. Heart thrummed in her chest as she pushed her wings to fly harder, fly faster. She caught the quick glow of a group of guardians approaching the campfire of a sleeping hu-uman. @Veino Garn

She swerved to the right and found herself flying toward the orange glow of another fire. @Sadrion Luckily, this also took her in another direction, away from being hunted by the feline she had yet to see or meet. She approached the robed figure from behind, darting in from the trees, then back, then in.

He was ginormous! Well, she thought it was a he. So far, it just looked like a black blob. But legends said they looked similar to the firefolk, just multiplied in size and minus the wings. She wondered how sad it would be to be grounded. Pursing her shimmering lips, she could feel her curiosity winning out. Golden-gaze swept the fire's area and she made a break for the flames, planning to use the glowing embers for cover as she snuck around to get a look at the cloaked giant's front.

(sorry ya'll @mentions aren't working for me)

Behind his burnt-on metal mask, Sadrion's eyes turned to slits. He felt a presence nearby, yet it was such a small pinprick that it was hard to get a complete grip on it. Looking back across to the fire, he noticed a small figure with wings flit in front of him. A curious creature, humanoid yet much smaller and winged. Not much of a threat. Giving a mental shrug, he let it inspect him for the time being.

It saw her!

She darted back to the other side of the fire and zipped out more cautiously. She felt something strong in this being, something she felt everyday through all the living things her people were in contact with. But this was different, tainted. Frowning, she shimmered above the flames, watching @[member="Sadrion"] as closely as he watched her. His face was odd. It seemed to be encased in something...

SHINY!

She couldn't help it. She flitted to his face, her dainty feet touching down gently on his nose, or rather the cold metal surface of something else. Small golden-eyes met much larger eyes as she knelt down and pressed her palm against his mask. She knocked on it twice.

If the guardians saw her now, they would lock her away in a tulip for the rest of her life.

Regor slipped around the camp not wanting to disturb the man, he got the feeling something was about to happen, and he hold is rifle ready* @[member="Evangeline Sage"] @[member="Sadrion"] @[member="Satine D'nara"] @[member="Veino Garn "]

Satine crawled down one tree and slipped under a small brush, just near the field where she could see all the little wisties flying about. Perfect. Plenty to catch and bring back. Her cat-like eyes glinted in the moonlight for a moment before she reached back and readied her net. One had flew took close to where she was hiding, tending to a flower nearby. In a flash of motion, Satine's hand darted out and snagged the little female, he hands covering her entire body so she couldn't cry out to the others. She tucked her in a separate net on her belt and said "Ssshhh." before turning her attention back to the rest. None had seen. Good. Now she readied for the pounce.

@Evangeline Sage

As soon as he turned in the direction of the fairy-like creature, it seemed to dart out of his line of sight, if only for a few seconds. Afterward, it seemed to grow a little brave and set back out to study him. When it-she-caught sight of his mask, the little one flew up and landed on his covered face. A look of annoyance passed over Sadrion, and he considered swatting her away. Quickly deciding against it, he figured on humoring the young pixie while she had her fun in banging her tiny fists on his mask. As he did so, he felt a small ray of humor spread out from Xardus, almost as if he were laughing.

Veino straightened suddenly. Now he remembered where he'd felt that presence before. The Sith cat lady! What would she be doing here? He paused, and blinked several times. Were those tiny people with wings watching him carefully. He wiped his eyes, trying to clear them. Not a dream. They were still there. He gave a shaky smile. "Er, ah, hi. Am I intruding or something?"
This was disconcerting. He never expected to see beings like these in the galaxy. But there was still the somewhat crazy cat lady to deal with. Was she here for an invasion? Or another slaving attack? Or did she also see the ad for discount tickets and decide for a break? Either way, he hoped they wouldn't run across each other. If they did, maybe they could just all walk away.

Regor saw got a bad feeling about this place, he staid stil looking around* "this feels like perfect place fore a ambush, got to be carful" @[member="Evangeline Sage"] @[member="Sadrion"] @[member="Satine D'nara"] @[member="Veino Garn "]

This was it, the place where all the data she would ever need could be found! Throghout the forest small drones followed the people at a safe distance. Meaning no harm to anyone they silently recorded both the sith and Jedi forces. It was beauty and science at its finest. The data that would be found here would propel her research forward and into the next phase of development. The good doctor watched everything in a speeder miles away from the conflict. This was it, she only needed a few more pieces of the puzzle and it was set. She had a long road ahead of her but it would be worth it in the end

The guardians watching Veino cringed as they were discovered. But something even more pressing took their attention as an alarm only the most sensitive and small ears would pick-up. They were under attack. With one swift motion, the guardians sped away from the jedi padawan and back toward the tulip covered clearing.

Evan's head tipped upward, molten-eyes narrowed in alarm as she stared past the mysterious man and the nose she perched on and into the starry sky above. "They're in trouble," she squeaked, voice emerging from her lips like little bells. She could feel the stirrings through the force from Satine's gathering: fear, anger, confusion.

Small feet launched off the man's nose as she shot into the air as a streak of light. The firefolk could burn skin if they burned bright enough. Fists clenched at her sides as she buzzed past one of Marie's drones, unable to spare it more curiosity. Without a word, she joined the ranks of the guardians, ignoring their disapproving stares and grumbled protests. They needed all the help they could get, even from a princess. Forming into an organized dive, they began to swarm against the mysterious feline, glowing bodies ready to burn anything they came in contact with.

Seeing that her presence was know, Satine pounced out from the brush, scarring a few of the firefolk in the process. When the large swarm of them clouded together, their light burning bright as they grouped together, the Zyggerian smirked as she stood and held the net launcher in front of her and fired. One large electro-net flew out and caught as many of the little wisties that were in the path of fire. While some would likely avoid it or were missed by it, a fair portion was still caught. Seeing them caught Satine used the force to push the others away as she claimed those caught in her net. She laughed at her catch before hurrying away with what she had.

Regor saw the light from the firefolk and decided to look watt was happening, surprised by watt he saw, he shoulder his DC-17 and aimed it at @[member="Satine D'nara"]. "watt is a Zyggerian doing here?" @[member="Evangeline Sage"]

Gaminara

Senator of Empress Teta
Gaminara was walking through the forest, enjoying the fresh air and uninterrupted silence, when she heard raised voices coming not far from her current position. Deciding accordingly to her curious nature she made her way towards the source of the sounds, at the same time thanking herself in mind for leaving her long, senator robes behind and donning instead a midnight blue set combining of a jacket and trousers. As she made her way she noticed a campfire and a few people standing around it. Stopping for a moment, she quietly took out her blaster pistol from where it was hanging in the belt on her hip.

She decided to make her presence known and stepped towards the group of people. The first thing she noticed was a trooper aiming at a Zygerian female who was running away with a bunch of Firefolk as her catch. Seeing that, Gaminara quickly stepped forward and fired shots towards the Zygerian.
