OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Astronomical Location Name: Moon 753.
  • Classification: Moon.
  • Location: Iego, one of the planet's 1,000 moons.
  • Rotational Period: 24 hours.
  • Orbital Period: 365 days.
  • Size: Medium, Moon 753 is a relatively large astronomical object and moon, though not nearly as large as the planet that it orbits.
  • Affiliation:
    • Publically speaking, Moon 753 is owned by Nostrum Treatments Incorporated, having been sold to the company to do what they see fit to the moon and conduct whatever research that they wish to in peace, though the Imperial Remnant retains the right to visit the moon whenever it may choose to do so. Secretly, and completely unbeknownst to Imperial authorites, Moon 753 is in reality owned by Sith Lord Darth Strosius Darth Strosius , who used Nostrum Treatments as a "shadow company" in order to get the sale of the moon approved to him.
  • Population: Moderate, the swamp environment of Moon 753 is home to a fairly large amount of flora and fauna. Some, but not all examples, include:
  • Demographics: Any sentients who live on the moon are either workers brought in by Nostrum Treatments Incorporated or droids that are used by that company. Moon 753 does not possess any single majority species of alien or model of droid, and those who work here are to subject to change at the bequest Nostrum Treatments and Darth Strosius Darth Strosius .
  • Accessibility: Because the planet Iego is rather isolated and out of the way, accessing Moon 753 can be quite challenging. Furthermore, as a part of the thousand moons orbiting the planet, actually finding the moon within the plethora of celestial bodies around Iego can be quite difficult. Any restrictions on visiting the moon itself are subject to Darth Strosius Darth Strosius himself, though Imperial authorities have permission to visit the moon completely unannounced should they wish to do so. Naturally, the fact that Darth Strosius Darth Strosius is the true owner of the moon remains unknown to Imperial authorities.
  • Description: A swamp moon resembling the planet Dagobah, Moon 753 is far more liquid than it is solid. Much of the moon's surface is quite unstable, being liable to collapse should any structures of significant weigh be placed down, or covered in water as far as the eye can see. That being said, there are notable areas on the moon where more permanent structures can be placed, such as the headquarters of Nostrum Treatments Incorporated and its research labs. Plant life covers nearly every conceivable inch of the moon, and there is almost always some form of precipitation in the warm, humid air of Moon 753.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Much of the moon itself is rather unstable and liable to collapse should anything of significant weight be placed upon the moon's surface. Visitors to Moon 753 must be careful not to find themselves stuck in the moon's mud pits and quicksand traps, though anyone with even rudimentary survival knowledge should be able to escape these obstacles or at least prevent themselves from drowning.
  • The few areas that are suitable for building on are covered in the headquarters of Nostrum Treatments Incorporated. One can find corporate offices, research labs, worker barracks and landing pads within this specific location, where the moon's surface stability is much higher than anywhere else.
  • Surprisingly, Moon 753 does possess some moderately sized Kolto fields, which are large enough to be harvested and sold by Nostrum Treatments Incorporated. Of course, finding these fields is easier said than done, and they require significant time and investment to properly locate through the muck and slime of the moon's many swamps. It is unknown exactly how such a plant came to be located on Moon 753, though it is possible that those who inhabited Iego long ago ventured forth into the galaxy to acquire Kolto samples that could be grown on the moon.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

When the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant completed its conquest of the Iego system, it suddenly found itself in possession of over a thousand different moons, all of which orbited the rogue planet Iego and were just as mysterious and diverse as Iego itself. Though the Imperial Remnant found immediate use for a small number of these moons, most were judged to be too insignificant to warrant any serious attempts to develop. Instead, the Imperial Remnant decided to offer the galactic community the ability to purchase individuals moons to do with as they might see fit.

Moon 753, with its swamp like environment, presents a multitude of challenges for anyone trying to live or conduct business on its surface, due to its ground based instability, humid climate and hostile wildlife. That being said, the moon is known to possess fairly large Kolto reserves, which on its own is enough to justify the difficulty associated with trying to develop the moon for future use.

As such, it was hardly a surprise when Nostrum Treatments Incorporated approached the Imperial Remnant about purchasing the moon, and a deal was soon reached whereby Nostrum Treatments would be given ownership over the moon in exchange for sharing some of their products and research with the Imperial Remnant. Unknown to the Imperials however is the fact that Nostrum Treatments is secretly owned by Darth Strosius Darth Strosius , representing one of the most serious security breaches in all of Mahporeenian history. Whether or not the Imperial Remnant will be able to benefit from this fact or even find out about it in the first place remains to be seen...

Hi there again!

I see the same Lego/Iego issue here, so I'd fix that one.

The only other thing that stands out to me, is the Kolto deposits, no issue with putting that on the moon, but I'd suggest that you add a little bit of extra info here about it. Obviously canonically we don't really know where the Kolto comes from on Manaan, but adding a bit of the mystery to the Kolto on this moon would be good.

Even as little as just saying that people aren't sure where it is coming from here, or as much as adding a bigger mystery to it. Then Darth Strosius Darth Strosius might have fun to investigate it as well, if he wants!
