[SIZE=14pt]It uses a mainly automatic reloading system, merely a press of a button is all that’s needed instead of manual loading like a normal J-1[/SIZE]

[SIZE=14pt]The concept that the MAPC represents is a simple one, you take a particularly large and unpleasant gun (in this case the Confederate J-1 Proton Cannon) and mount it on a more suitable chassis to make your enemy feel a particular distaste as you blast them into a nice shower of bits, or a particularly pleasant crater.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=14pt]This is a belief system of the MAPC (Mobile Assault Proton Cannon), a slow moving and low maneuverability heavy walker focusing exclusively on blowing the enemy into ash with it’s main weapon, relatively pathetic light laser cannons being its own form of backup weapon, a last ditch attempt to kill off a foe as if the walker must rely on them it is likely already dead.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=14pt]The walker itself is incredibly bulky, even larger than the already fairly large sized J-1 Proton Cannon, with much of it’s internal mechanisms put in the large “abdomen” of the machine. Housing both the loading mechanism and the main gunners position. While above the cannon the main operator for the vehicle works the legs alongside two gunners to operate the laser cannons (which can operate independently). Within the abdomen rests two other B-1 droids to serve as semi-effective guards as well, if the need arises.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=14pt]This bulky tank does have some glaring weaknesses though, such as being able to have it’s shells explode prematurely if a piercing shot were to enter its armored hull, and droid pilots can perform mistakes if damaged enough. It’s legs are a major weak spot, as once disable the MAPC is more or less immobile. As such, this highly potent and destructive weapon requires support to be a truly effective tool on the battlefield and not a waste.[/SIZE]
