Appearance
Mira is a young light skinned and lightly built woman, with dark hair and eyes. Certainly at first or even second glance, one would probably not take her for a fighter. She has no great height or exceedingly impressive muscles, and she rarely has a look of a stern warrior. Though, she does have a way of moving around. The combination of her emphasis on applying Jar'Kai methods in other ways, and what she knows of echani, resulting in something that appears fluid and efficient, though it isn't quite as graceful as a fully trained echani.

  • +Wide range of training and considerable practice with marksmanship, blades, melee, traps, and various combat tricks. Some of which more abnormal than others. This also lets her act and react far faster than expected, as she doesn’t have to actually think about what she’s doing specifically, but rather can go off her training and instinct, and consider her next choices. Echani (to an extent) and Jar’Kai are some of her more preferred techniques for close range, but she applies Jar’Kai techniques to most of her work.

+Nothing unused: Mira dislikes waste of skills, resources, or potential. As a result she practices very hard to master using the body to its fullest, forcing herself into a level of ambidextrous in particular when using swords or blaster pistols. But she has applied them differently depending on the situation. It’s also for this same reason she practiced singing and dancing to give advantages for social settings. Though, due to so much dedication to combat, it’s received certainly less attention.

    +Family and underworld/business connections.
    + Excellent health

-Physical disadvantages: Although certainly fit, Mira was never quite the muscular and heavy hitter type. She tends to rely heavily on weaponry or tricks in a fight. Her size certainly is a factor in that.

+/-Ambition goes both ways: While Mira is certainly determined and ambitious, which can help in growth and dangerous situations, it also means she’s willing to take extra risks in order to achieve those goals. Sometimes things don’t work out like one would hope.

-Dislike of the battle: Although by her own choice, Mira doesn’t actually want to fight. A spar here or there is fine. However her interest is hardly in conflict. While on a job that isn’t usually a factor, it does tend to mean she is not always well armed outside of it. Which for someone participating in conflict isn’t always a good choice.Link to tab 2

  • Mira is one of the younger members of the Ashikaga family, along with her twin brother. She knew that she’d likely end up with less power and accomplishments as a result if she tried to follow in the same exact path. Though, she was also perhaps more spared from some of the more gnarly parts the eldest dealt with. In spite of not being one of the older children, being a part of the family would still have its benefits. But if she couldn’t grab some kind of a foothold, use, and authority, well...that would just be unfortunate. Mira however found an alternative route, instead of trying to go straight for authority in the business, Mira took an alternative route. Combat, perhaps an unexpected choice. She was hardly the most intimidating individual, not particularly tall or muscular, and her natural instincts for combat weren’t something to be impressed about. But she was determined. Her training was perhaps non-traditional, learning from whoever would teach her skills in combat rather than just one source. Marksmanship, blades, blunt weapons, swordsmanship, anything at all she could get, she would take. It wasn’t really a passion of hers, but it would accomplish its task. Her objective wasn’t so much to gain physical power herself, but to let her mix with any group she needed to. Her family let her at least some room in the upper echelons, but if she was also able to close that gap with the employees as much as with the authorities than she might hold some level of authority of her own. Not to sabotage, but almost, just to have.

There was some level of uncertainty on just what she should do, what she should accomplish. Whatever her desire for having her own power and authority, she still wanted her family and the Ashikaga group to succeed. All three of her brothers needed their places and she needed hers, each needed to know where they belonged in things. That was her opinion on the matter, that there was indeed a place for anyone, however high or low. But that they had to make sure the places of the Ashikaga were higher up on that ladder.

When the Ashikaga Group allied with the Elysium Empire, Mira had some mixed feelings. Certainly there were advantages to it, but she wasn’t sure if they’d interfere any with the illicit dealings they had involvement with, and which she had personally spent more time with. Still, as long as they were allies, she’d work as allies. In so far as it benefited Ashikaga that is.
