OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Name: Med-ject
  • Manufacturer: Ashikaga Group
  • Affiliation: Ashikaga Group, Elysium Empire
  • Market Status: Closed-Market
  • Modularity: No.
  • Production: Minor
  • Material: Pharmaceutical components, bacta, durasteel(?)
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
  • Classification: Combat Stimulant
  • Method of Consumption: Injection
  • Average Life: 5 minutes effect after injection. The effects will deteriorate for 3 minutes.
  • Nutritional Value/Allergies/Side Effects/ Purpose: The main side effect of the med-ject is where the user feels calm, relaxed, and sedated. However, if the user injects another med-ject bacta syringe while the effects are still ongoing will result into overdose - meaning, death. Another thing is that when it comes to healing different types of injuries, there are different effects on how it'll treat this type of injury although the main side effect are still there;
    • Abrasion injury - an open wound that's caused by the skin rubbing against a rough surface will take at least a minute for the wound to be completely healed. The effects are the same as getting high or feeling sedated. These effects would last for 8 minutes.
    • Laceration injury - an open wound like getting a paper cut, getting slashed by a lightsaber or a knife, etc. It'll take at least a minute for the wound to be completely healed, same as the abrasion injury. The effects are still the same mentioned above. These effects would last for 8 minutes.
    • Puncture injury - an open wound where pointy object gets penetrated to the user's skin will take at least 3 minutes for the wound to be completely healed. However, when it comes to deep puncture wounds like getting stabbed/shanked by a knife will take at least 20 minutes to be completely healed. At first, the user will feel pain (in terms of deep puncture wounds that causes internal building) that synonymizes to getting burn alive. This pain usually lasts for at least 5-12 minutes as this is the phase where the wound began to close itself (depending on the user's physicality) - then added the 8 minutes of the Med-ject's main effects. The total amount of time of this effect is 13 minutes - then completely healed on 15 minutes.
    • Avulsion injury - multiple gunshot wound from blasters, heavily wounded from explosion, broken bones from accidents, etc. will take at least 1-3 hours until the user is completely healed. It would be best if the user who belonged to the category of avulsion injury, takes rest - since the main effects of the Med-ject will slow the user down, to the point that the effect is forcing the user to sleep.
    • Flu/cold, basically common sickness like headache, stomachache, etc: The same as the explanation from average life and its side effects. It is also explained in the description below.

SPECIAL FEATURES
  1. Although the Med-ject is convenient for securities, police, paramilitaries, militias, and soldiers alike. The Med-ject requires a bacta syringe since it serves as an ammo of the medical pistol. It can only be fired once, then reload another bacta syringe again. The Med-ject is an enhanced natural healing factor.
STRENGTHS
  • Convenient: The Med-ject itself is convenient since it is suitable for the user's purposes and needs in the battlefield which caused the least difficulty.
Regeneration: Got shot (depends on how many blaster/slugshots which is mentioned in the avulsion injury label)? Got slashed? Got sick? Then just inject yourself, wait for eight minutes and you'll be good as new! [TAKE NOTE: This doesn't work on the user where they get amputated]
WEAKNESSES
  • Reload: First of all, Med-ject requires a bacta syringe. A scenario where the user got hit - currently in a shootout, it takes a minute for the bacta syringe to be completely loaded to the Med-ject. What the user has to do in this scenario is to hide and wait for it to reload, then that's the time where the user can inject itself.
Sedated: As mentioned in the technical information, the user will feel high. Meaning that he'll be distracted, relaxed, and calm. Although these effects usually lasts for 8 minutes.
  • TAKE NOTE: Med-ject doesn't work on users where they lost their limbs or getting cut in half in lightsaber combat/battlefield/explosion/etc. It won't grow back. However, it'll serve as painkillers that'll last around 2 hours although the Med-ject's main effect is still there. It would be best if this user is rescued by medic units or best-case scenario, for the user to be in a nearby health center then get cybernetics. It also doesn't work on new/complex diseases, especially if a disease is originated/generated to/by the Force.
DESCRIPTION
Med-ject is an experimental combat stimulant developed by the Ashikaga Group, where they combined stimpak and hypodermic injector. It is a type of hand-held medication pistol used for boosting the body's own regenerative properties. The user who got shot or got sick (i.e. headache, stomachache, etc.) can inject his/her self. It can drastically increase one's own recuperative functions. There are side effects such as getting high, relaxed, calm or even feel sleepy although these effects usually lasts around 8-10 minutes.
