Question Minor Factions Joining Rebellions

The rules state the following:

Any other Minor Faction may join the Rebellion by posting their intention in the same thread.

Do those Major Faction that join a rebellion need to announce their joining prior to the Rebellion thread going up, or can they jump in after it has already started?

There's no time limit stated in the rules, Minor Factions may declare their intention and join in at any time.

This, of course, won't override a RPJ's Victory Judgement ie it'd be pointless for a new minor faction to join the Rebellion after it's victory has been decided, as there would be nothing to gain.

But you could still continue whatever story you had going.
