• Nutritional Value/Allergies/Side Effects/ Purpose: None currently known
SPECIAL FEATURES

The special features of this potion grants near invisibility much like the Force Skill Force Cloak. Once the user drinks the potion the effects happen immediately. They become near unseen. I say near unseen because there is some ways to notice the user. The spell bends light and sound waves to make the person under the effects of this spell to be near invisible.

Strengths:

 • For two hours, the light and sound around the user is altered to make the user near invisible.

Weaknesses:
 • Bursts of lightsided energy can destroy the potions
 • The effects of the potion last for two hours. There is not a magical word to shut off the spell. It could be dispelled through Force Skills like Wall of Light.
 • The effects of the potion have a weakness to Force lighting and electricity. If the user is hit with Force Lighting it will dispel the magic.
 • Does not hide the Force signature of the user.
 • Near invisibility, if someone is close enough to the user in lighted area they could see a shimmering outline of the user. This out line is more pronounced if the user is moving quickly and less pronounced if the user is still.
 • This potion does not great the drinker the ability to control the effects. After drinking the potion the effect happens, there is not control. You either ride out the effects or allow yourself to be hit with lightsided energy or Force Lighting.

DESCRIPTION

Historically one of the most well known uses of this potion was when the Nighstsers used the potion just before an attack on Count Dooku. The potion was made in a very similar way to the Blackroot potion. Using the mysterious green glowing mist a Dathmoiri Witch can manipulate the mist into a potion of invisibility.

The down side of this potion is you can just say a special word to turn it off. It either last for the duration of the spell or it is hit with counter Force Skills. Force Light Skills will council it because the potion is technically a Darksided Skill. The potions effect has a natural limitation Force Lighting and electricity.

During the duration of this spell effect the user is nearly unseen. Most people relay on line of sight to be able to attack or defend. Not being able to see the user of this potion could affect the way anyone attacks or defends the user.

The potion does not hide the Force User signature. A Force User could sense the user of this potion. They might not be able to see the person but they would have to concentrate in order to do this.

This Dathomir potion acts in the same way yes. It does manipulate light to make the person near invisible but I forgot all about sound waves when writing up this sub. Did you wish me to put in better wording to cover this in the sub?

Yes but also I more meant...does this automatically make someone invisible or does it give them the ability to use the power itself?

[member="Alric Kuhn"]

As soon as the person drinks the potion the effects happen. So the answer would be it automatically makes them near invisible. It is just an effect and does not great the person the ability to use as they see fit. There is no turn off switch. You just have to let the spell ride out.

Great.

With that explanation I'll approve this. Witchy stuff is...tricky, but I don't believe this is unbalanced given that any FU can technically do this.
