DESCRIPTION

The Milvayne-Class Light Destroyer is a better equipped version of the Recusant-Class Light Destroyer used by the Ancient Confederacy of Independent Systems. Finding that the Original Recusant-Class was unable to defend its corporate interests or even match the power of a enemy vessel. The Milvayne Variant solved many of the issues but kept much of the internal structure to save cost. The Chairman of the Milvayne Commercial Association was well aware that having a corporate fleet to defend their interests would raise some questions amongst the senate regarding another mass corporate faction springing up. However there was a small loophole in the fact that these vessels were built from antique ones which meant they were not regarded as modernized vessels but as historic ships from a past conflict.

This version of the vessel comes equipped with increased speed and overall defenses in order for it to stand up against larger destroyers of the same class. Although this model does suffer from low maneuverability due to the limited changes to the ancient vessel. It also pertains the same weakness as the original class with its interior hull being left mostly unprotected. Which means it can suffer extreme damage should the main shields be destroyed during a battle.
