Metal Gear Silver: SJO Dominion of Nixor

Asteroid%2BMining%2BStation%2Bby%2BBas%2BRuhe.jpg

Hutt space, an area well known for its selfish focus on the individual and their businesses. Smugglers and slavers, gangsters and the like prospered, people who like the inhabitants of Nixor who turned away from the galaxy. The galaxy was full of little hidey-holes, places where a ship could get lost, where a smuggler, a mercenary or indeed a slaver could vanish from the governments following them. A place where ships danced through the spaceports, providing the perfect opportunity for someone to slip into the crowd, or indeed slip out with it. Nixor was such a world, well known amongst the denizens of the galaxy’s seedy underbelly as a place where they could vanish into the darkness.

However, amongst all the darkness and selfishness there existed those who wanted more for their sector, who wanted to show the galaxy they were better than that. Local businessman and philanthropist Gregory Avun, was such a man. A merchant who had made his fortune plying the spaceways the same as any other, running spice and other contraband until he was brought face to face with the reality of what he was doing when his own wife fell into a spice addiction. One man stopping the spice trade was never going to happen, but if he could inspire people to look for another path, well that was something he could do.

It started small, a charity here, a safe house there, doing his best to alleviate the spice problem where he could. Yet, the more he tried, the more problems that seemed to come up, the galaxy was a dark place, a place full of pain and suffering, and he wanted to help all of them. So he’d tried, just focusing on his little corner of space, hoping to make a difference to help those who had fallen through the cracks, but time and again he ran into the same problem, the negative light in which so many saw the citizens of Hutt space. Maybe, just maybe if he could do something about that. When he heard of the plight of the once prosperous world of Kuat, the man knew he had the opportunity he’d been waiting for. Reaching out to other businessmen in Hutt space he pointed to the spotlight turned on the planet and the possibility of opening up new markets with just a small PR push. It was enough to put together a small aid convoy.

Yet, while philanthropists gathered to help, there were others who saw blood in the water gathered themselves, sensing an opportunity in the convoy. Unaware of the fate awaiting his convoy Gregory and the other businessmen who had funded the convoy gathered on a yacht leading the convoy to Kuat. They imagined they’d lead the convoy of ships into a fanfare, instead leading them right into the jaws of the waiting pirates. The convoy never stood a chance, betrayed be agents on the inside only a single battered ship made it away, running for the hills where they stumbled over a Silver Jedi patrol. The Silvers were luckily able to track the pirates who had already fled the system, following them to the out of the way system of Nixor, the location the Jedi assumed of the Pirate’s base, what they found was far beyond their wildest expectations. As the fleet arrived, deploying their scouts expecting to locate a small base, or the convoy ships hidden in the asteroid field what they actually found was so much worse. Hidden in the asteroid field was not a ship or a small base but a large pirate haven, a veritable systems clearinghouse located inside a hollowed-out asteroid, and the convoy had been docked right inside it. A few ships were also spotted in the orbit of the planet, or in the spaceport. While the majority of the Silver Jedi headed towards the asteroid base, a few ships headed towards the planet to deal with the ships there as well as sending a small negotiating team down to the surface of the planet to meet with the Nixorans and warn them of the pirates located in their system the Silver Jedi deployed to meet this menace.

Objective 1:
The captured convoy has been located inside a hollowed out asteroid that has been converted into a space station, a bazaar where pirates from the surrounding systems can meet to sell loot and information. The fate of the captives is unknown, but the Silver Jedi forces in pursuit need to locate and free any captives they can.

Objective 1.1
Utilising landing pods and stealth systems the Jedi and Rangers on board the patrol have deployed to the surface of the asteroid, spreading out to gain entry to the bazaar.
Goal: The silver forces must find a way to neutralise the pirates if they can and rescue the captives, just remember…if the pirates are alerted to your presence then they just might panic.
Objective 1.2
While the Jedi and Rangers are working to free the hostages the other pirate vessels in the area need to be captured or scattered and any debris gathered for further analysis.
Goal: The Order only deployed light naval forces on its patrol but what forces there are need to engage the pirate forces in system and drive them away.

Objective 2:
While the majority of the Silver Jedi forces deployed to deal with the pirate threat, a small shuttle containing a diplomatic delegation deploys down to the surface of the planet to meet with the Nixorans. The population is isolationist, but even they need to know what’s happening in their system.
Goals: Meet with the Nixorans to inform them of the goings on in their system and reassure them about the intentions of the SJO patrol that just appears and engaged in combat.

Objective 3:
The Silver Jedi negotiators have convinced the Nixorans to allow the Silver Jedi to deploy an outpost on the moon, a premade garrison pod, to prevent any further such incidents from occurring. The new outpost needs to be settled in and set up before the Silver Jedi forces leave the system so we know of any other pirates using the system. (OOC: This objective is occurring after the negotiations have been completed and the pirate base has been cleared up.)
Goals: Help set up an outpost on the moon of Nixor and connect it back to the Silver Jedi’s communication system.

BYOO
As usual, if you don’t see an objective you like then feel free to bring your own stories and most importantly have fun! (The Nixorans are a very isolationist population, so while there are many sights on the world to enjoy, such as the site where Obi-wan and a handful of Jedi survivors from order 66 helped the locals face off against the empire, the population themselves may not engage with you. There might be some fun to be had with that!)

Objective 2

Wu had been able to hear the klaxons blaring... the rangers from the shadow were moving quickly in their guardian armor and combat suits. While she was working, once they had gotten itno the system and identified it there was something to be said for the world and they were going to have to chase after. So she had offered her ship, it was a diplomatic yacht modified for purposes like this with defensive capabilities and speed to get them down to the planet. THe jedi master stood in the kitchen of her ship though with a smile on her face as she worked. Meeting down on the planet was important but all of the information going across the screen as she was sifting the flour. Next a pinch os salt and hot water.. then cold water before she was mixing it. ntil it was mixed and then she was cooling it. Rolling out the dough and humming to herself.

"I hope you are going to be alright." She said it while looking at what they had here, looking at what was going on the screen with the discovery and their recon ships. The shadow would be needed to attack them, to break enemy ships if they were proving a problem as a massive stealth ship was important and she moved onto the meats and veggies. Making a couple dozen circles on the tray. Next came the meats themselves, normally one or the other with leeks, spices and sauces but she was looking to appeal to others as she had chopped several of the meats into micro diced cubes. Using the leeks and sauce to bid them there was beef from kashyyyk, pork from mimban and a thinner type of lamb they had gotten from home. All freshly raised with leeks from the garden on her own ship.

She was looking at the meats and everything there as she started portioning it in the circles and started to seal them. Checking and smoothing it all out when the jedi master smiled to herself with the ship traveling towards the planet. From all reports there was not a safe place designated to land. The disrepair of the ports was because they didn't like people so this would require some special tactics. That tactic as the ship was coming down would be the food, you could ignore a person trying to talk with you, you could dismiss a person... but if someone was asking you if you wanted food. Well she looked at them cooking as the ship was going to get as close to the capital it could and then finding a place to touch down.... it bought her some time... the others who might be coming with her might need time to primp and prepare.

She looked at the flour on her and cleaned herself off standing there as she slid into the princess robes. THe purple kimono of dream and vine silk was beautiful and as had been tested as tough as beskar but smooth and lightweight like phrik. She had her scarf on and it was warm with the power of the force itself. She had her saber on her hip and moved humming around when she got her boots on. "Ding they are done." She said it and moved getting the meat pies. Xian Bing in Jin for some before laying them out and it was harder to refuse talking if someone offered you a nice warm piece of food. The smile was on her face and this was something she could offer to get a conversation started. She looked at the airlock of the sip with a smile. "No one turns down free food."

Objective: 1
Time for some menace
Sebastian looked over at Blodrud the Bloodless as they walked the bazaar gathering information and people here and there. Wasn't long before they heard from some of the higher ups the silver jedi ships had appeared in system. Looked like a small patrol fleet and not to worry. Lance smiled and nodded to Blodrud who went off to ready his troops for what was to come. They had both expected the Jedi to follow the convoy and the pirate ships to this location and after many times dealing with them they knew they would come enforce eventually.

Blodrud would arrive at their docked ship where both the Ash Crows and the Serpents Whisper where waiting for them in all their gear as he gathered his own and sent the Ash Crows to their master who would try to help hold down the bazaar should the Jedi arrive before they were finished while Blodrud and the Serpents Whisper would hold down the air lock and the ship. It wasn't be long before the Ash Crows arrived to their master and his Loth wolf who had continued walking the Bazaar with Seb in full armour. They would gather what they need them remove themselves from the battle. This was not the time. Not quiet yet anyways.

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Objective 1

[member="Metis Athena Elpis"]

A clearinghouse was something many might not see. They were neutral grounds generally controlled by someone who could enforce the peace while smugglers, slavers, pirates and even traders came to them. Providing a broker who could negotiate the best prices and find private buyers... and they were usually mobile. Stations or larger ships that could move if the needed arised under the protection of their escort ships. Crews and captains indebted to the house through loans or contracts. The general method was paying to modify the ships for the one who came and they worked off the debt... this gave them a sometimes rotating protective screen.

This one was stationary and they were going right at it.... which she focused on the force and her padawan. If someone was that strong they held a fleet here, held enough clout to not have the hutts attack them or what made up security... and their main goal was to fly right at it. She sighed, a spur of the moment decision maybe but the jedi master at least had a ship like the RAC from the rangers. Small, fast and one of the more advanced stealth ships within the Silver Jedi. On it her padawan was able to be with her and landing in the docking sections of the asteroid. Different hangers that would have been carved into it.

"Alright padawan." She said it and stood there prepared for anything, wearing the white guardian robes over most of her small form. Metris had been given a similar set for herself. The silvery white robes, with jedi aurobesh runes on them. Protective synthweave that made it protected. She felt the robes and they bent to her touch but wouldn't break, she had for display purposes a saber on her hip but she doubted they would need to use it. Her hair a black curtain behind her, tiny kyber and kasha crystals gleaming as small chains were around her neck. The heart of the universe under the robes as she could feel the force itself.

"This place can be dangerous most clearinghouses in the galaxy are mobile and leave first sign of danger... If this one is staying it means it has more protection but it also means whoever is in charge would be a lot stronger." It helped to understand some history last time a jedi encountered a clearinghouse the lorridan in charge had been with an iron fist that killed anyone who attacked on the station. Keeping the order and business was more important then just letting everyone run around and kill each other... outside of the station and away from it where they couldn't damage it.. then they could attack each other to their hearts content.

She checked the robes, the force enhanced wintrium was powerful and strong compared to many of the robes she had seen. Artisan crafted equipment was much better in protective quality before she turned around to look at it. Feeling the ship move slower and slower until it connected to an airlock. Landing the ship in a hanger could endanger it... the older sections of the station she was looking at and she opened the airlock giving the padawan two kits. A survival kit and a field kit, a training saber that wouldn't hurt her but wouldn't leave her defenseless. "Now we have blasters but be careful on here, we'll get the lay of the land as it were first."

She nodded but turned back around and rolled her shoulders opening the airlock and going into the small connection tube. Slicing droids being released as they were small, sleek and meant to help map the massive tunnels. She was moving in and motioned towards Metris with a nod of her head. "Stay close and any questions ask. Your first mission is exciting isn't it?" A small smile threatened to tug on her lips where she was looking into the metal and the scans from the droids. Several tunnels appearing as the beginnings showed mining droid tubes, vent systems and tunnels that had been cut into the rock by diggers.

Enemies: Pirates

I have an idea to neutralize the pirates: I'll go in, assuming the cover of a HVAC maintenance technician, inserting sleep gas as well as disinfection agents into the HVAC systems. They will fall asleep and then we have a window to extract the hostages. I hope you either have Detoxify Poison or rebreathers, she thought, hoping the others will get the telepathic message. This time around, Varindar knew there was an opportunity to neutralize the pirates without shedding any more blood than necessary. Wearing a hazmat suit, equipped with stealth equipment, as well as a rebreather, she carried a canister containing the sleep gas mixed in with the disinfection agents. The clearinghouse will be clean once this is all over, but its current occupants will fall asleep while the disinfection is taking place. In that it was very similar to Chalacta; hopefully they won't see it coming since the whole mixture is colorless. But the main task for doing this was finding the life support pipes, and she was grateful for the stealth equipment. Only once access to the life support systems was secured could that stage be implemented.

Objective: 1.1

It had been awhile since Masaru took on a infiltration mission. The warrior preferred combat on the battlefield or one on one duels, but sneaking around an enemy base to achieve a objective provided its own adventures. He could remember the contracts his father would accept, designating Masaru as a solo operative while the Boss man provided radio support. As a kid, he hated taking on these missions. He was later grateful that his father helped him nurture these skills, getting in many situations where they were needed to defuse situations.

When the Rangers he was with landed on the surface of asteroid Masaru left to find a way inside immediately. All the gear that Masaru brought with him was his sword, preferring to travel light while infiltrating. Whatever else he needed he could most likely find in the base.....or he'll just improvise. The Warrior also made sure to have communications with someone he wouldn't mind taking asking for advice from. From Masaru's experience with his father, having radio support while taking on such a mission could help keep things focused and help the mission go more smoothly. There were times where providing information to his father about what was going on helped finished the operation without Masaru having to do anything further.

Masaru finally found a way to enter the asteroid base through an airlock, leading to a small room with a few lockers which he guessed contained some space suits. The Warrior took his helmet off and took a look around, moving up to the door to check what was beyond the locker room. He saw a few of the pirates walking through the halls. He closed the door and brought his hand to the earpiece he had.

"Army of One, this is Tiger Claw. I've successfully infiltrated the enemy base. Is it just me, or do you find it odd that these pirates got their hands on an asteroid base? These places are usually well defended, so them taking control of it forcibly is unlikely. By themselves at least."

Codenames were utilized in the mercenary group Masaru used to be in, his father finding it important. Codenames had their advantageous and Masaru would say such to anyone who asked, but he also found that doing so brought back memories and put him in the right mind frame oddly enough. Whether Army of One, or [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] rather, played along was up to her. The focus was the mission and not to help a mercenary remember how things used to be when he was younger.

"I'll begin searching for the hostages. I'll keep you updated."

The depths of Nixor were not unfamiliar to Iovty. While doing his usual rounds around the fringes of Silver Order space he had visited the planet a few times, he even believed he'd been to the asteroid that they were currently trying to infiltrate once before. However, this visit was a bit different. The other times he had been hunting for single individuals. Now he was looking for many people, and many more stood in his way. This mission would be a bit more difficult.

Entering the asteroid wasn't a problem at all. An unmarked ship was the norm around here so they weren't stopping him that way. Iovty exited the small umarked ship not in his Jedi robes but rather in a large overcoat. Wearing robes would be a dead give away, the overcoat was a good alternative. The coat was both able to hide his lightsaber quite well and help him blend in with the pirates, smugglers, and other lowlifes residing in the asteroid. At this point there was a small chance anyone would try and confront or mess with Iovty now as a Trandoshan who's residing in a pirate haven is one of the more dangerous individuals you could meet. Now that he was disguised and inside the asteroid now he just had to find that bazaar.

Finding himself standing upon the bridge of one of the recommissioned and re-purposed Cruisers brought a sense of nostalgia to him, though not all of it reminiscent of good times. These days however, his intentions were pure when compared to the vessels original creation. Thankfully almost every Jedi or member of the Academy Network would lack the first hand interaction to recognize these vessels to be similar to those that had once been used by the Dark Jedi Order. Closing his eyes, Veiere sought to steady himself and settle his mind in want for a better focus on today's objective.

Veiere's Silver Jedi Apparel represented his Order well to the crew upon deck, all working hard to maintain the vessels continued orbit of Nixor's Moon while awaiting word from Silver Jedi Command. The Vessel was one of a few that had been loaded with Deployment Pods for the installation of a new Jedi Outpost to be set up, only after they had received the go-ahead from the locals down below.

For the present time, Veiere and whomever else had signed on for this mission objective, would have to wait out the rest of the operations completion. He'd heard word from others that there'd been a bit of trouble with some renegade spacers. Pirates if his memory served him correctly, and so he had reminded the crew to keep watch over the Cruisers sensors just in case they were to expect any trouble.

All in all however, Veiere expected this to be a rather pleasant and straight forward assignment for a good change.

Army of One? She liked that a lot more than Cotton Candy, it sounded more...lethal. Was that a good thing? She wasn't entirely sure but...it certainly made her happier, so for now, that was all that was important. The young Jedi let her eyes flick up and down the length of the corridor, she was padding down, one hand coming up to her ear to touch the communicator bud that rested there. "Army of one to Tiger Claw," see, she really liked him, he came up with the best nicknames, stumbling across the man in the arena on Nar Shadaa had been a fortuitous day. Asaraa refused to believe in the presentience of the force, refused to think it guided her life but...there were times she had to wonder. "Be careful out there, this place is more crowded than we thought."

The pink haired Jedi closed her eyes for a moment as she reached out with the force, casting her senses out through the area around her. It felt like there was a solid mix of sentients just around the bend of the corridor, more than she really wanted to run into right now. One hand came up to rest on the side of the wall as she glanced up and down the corridor and then made her way to a turning. She didn't really want to blow her cover just yet and this way seemed to be the least occupied. The girl shook her head as she padded deeper into the asteroid base, this place reminded her too much of Nar Shadda, but she didn't think she was going to find another [member="Masaru Varga"] here.

If there was ever a place that the ex-Sith could fit in best, it was among spacers. And what were pirates but violent spacers? Kahlil had learned much about how to run a ship, and how to deal with those who might try and start something with him. Grant it, he stood over most of those around him, including his ally for this venture. A Jedi Trandoshan. The combination was a bit of a surprise to the young man, but it wasn't the most impossible thing to happen.

After all, he was a Jedi Zambrano.

He was dressed in his usual spacer outfit, sporting his blaster on his hip. It certainly helped he had kept his old clothing for this sort of mission. He cast a glance to his ally. "So. What's the plan?"

Objective: 1.3 (Recover Gregory Avun)

Enemies: Pirates

Free space was a luxury few could afford on asteroid mining bases such as this. It wasn’t entirely uncommon for many abandoned ones to be converted into trading posts or refugee hideouts, thereby adding to the cramped nature of them. Endless mazes of streetways and corridors were absolutely packed with the most terrible scum the galaxy could cough up.

In the middle of all of this was one long streetway lined with vendors and small markets – the bazaar. Multiple steam ducts filled the air with a hazy atmosphere, and the people moved through the street as fluidly as a river. Various aliens chittered away in their respective languages as exotic meats sizzled on greasy black pans.

This is where Cassius Droma found himself, slowly making his way through. A scarf wrapped around the lower half of his face helped to not only conceal his identity, but also repel any putrid smells that might waft his way. Goggles completed the ensemble, helping keep out the various amounts of dust and dirt.

He’d arrived only a short time ago, when it was discovered that the yacht carrying Gregory Avun, as well as a number of other philanthropists with a vested interest in the region, had been taken here by a band of pirates. Initial ransom material seemed to suggest that Avun had been separated from the rest and was being held in a different location on the asteroid. It was Cassius’s job to find him and hopefully rescue him before the pirates discovered the presence of the Silver Jedi and evacuated.

Finally breaching free of the crowd, Cassius took a right down an even more narrow passageway, taking a few turns before reaching somewhat of a balcony, with a steep twenty-foot drop on the other side. There, he saw the green-skinned Liuna Ondizi, his partner for this mission.

“Just like you thought – living quarters in section C,” he nodded out at one of the buildings they could see from their vantage point. Pulling out a holoprojector, a blueish rendering of a rectangular building appeared, with a red dot indicating the third floor.

Pirates. They were not the most moral of characters, and pirate havens like this held almost every vice one could ask for. During her time as Vexia, she gained a reputation as she attempted to gain power, and notoriety so she could rise through the ranks of the Sith, Allya had often come to places like this. She had hired, destroyed, bought from, and everything in between. As such, when she came to the base looking for work, few even thought twice about it. The girl had more than earned a fierce reputation, and done enough business that it wasn't out of the ordinary. This was part of why she had joined the Dauntless, to escape the cycle she had seen for herself. However, it had been Jerek that had given her heart and soul a way out as well. It was time to help repay even a fraction of the debt she owned the young man.

Clad head to toe in her trademark Beskar'garm, and black sith robes, the Mandalorian Sith walked through the pirate bazaar fully armed, and no one cared. She stopped at different stalls, she looked over a massive amount of hard to find goods, probably most of it stolen from various ships and planets. She reached out and ran and armored gauntlet over beautiful silks from some far away land. It was good enough. The chance of ever finding the true owners of these things was small to none, and right now, she needed to blend in. A furious bout of haggling went on with the twi'lek woman who ran the stall, and it continued until one of the guards whispered in the woman's ear. Her eyes went wide, and she gave into the next offer from Allya, literally one-fifth the original asking price. Allya had a reputation. Mandalorian. Sith. She took the goods, paid the woman everything she agreed upon, thanked her, and moved up next to Kahlil and the large trandoshan, Iovty. The teen threw the bolt of silk at Kahlil. “Take it back to the ship. And for Manda's sake, get me something to drink.”

Of course, now everyone now thought the two were servants to a well known customer. It would give them access to the kitchens and back areas more easily as they ran her errands. Her head tilted to the side, towards a closed off door. “What I was looking for wasn't in the slave pens. Probably deeper in. Maybe Arena...maybe...” Her lips pursed under her helmet and she shook her head. “Make yourselves useful.” Her voice was dark, brooding, but perhaps Kahlil would understand the acting going into this. She had done her best to blend in, and use her name to make it easier for the two to wander around, ask questions and 'find what the Sith wanted'.

Metis twirled a little in her new robes, she was enjoying them as well as enjoying the uniform of an official jedi, well and official padawan at any rate. Metis giggled a little in excitement. Her first mission as a padawan. Metis hoped to do her master proud on there first occasion working together. Metis sobered up as her master started speaking to her briefing her on the mission and situation at hand.

Metis nodded in understanding, that first they needed to scout the location, register any threats and generally do some intel gathering, before engaging in any combat. Metis went through a breathing exercise to calm her nerves and went through some basic stretches, both of which she had learned as a handmaiden.

Metis accepted the survival and field kits, as well as the training saber, which she hadn’t had much time to train with, but she knew enough Echani martial arts to be proficient with most blade like weapons. Metis also checked the charge and safety of her blaster. Hopefully they wouldn’t have to use them, but it was better to be prepared for violence that never came, than be caught unawares by violent surprises.

“Yes Master”

Metis acknowledged, still trying to calm her nerves as she did so. Waiting for the slicing droids to finish their work so they could begin entry. Metis smiled nervously at her Master who had obviously picked up on Metis excitement.

“Yes Master, I hope I do you proud.”

Metis looked at the droid scans feed back and the layout of the clearing house, waiting for further instructions as she mentally mapped the base in her thoughts. She reminded herself this was a reconnaissance and intel gathering mission. Still it paid to be prepared.

It felt odd to him, to take a shuttle to the ground, to meet with the politicians on the ground while at the same time there were fleets engaging in the space ahead. The man turned his eyes up to stare at the wall, as if he could see through it to view the battle he knew was unfolding in space. John knew that the fleet would inform them the moment there was a breakthrough of some kind, but he couldn't help it as if it were an itch at the back of his head, a need to be up on the bridge commanding a vessel as it raced towards the enemy. The cyborg sighed, reaching up to adjust his jacket as his nose twitched, turning the corner to spot Wu waiting by the airlock with...a tray that smelt absolutely heavenly. "Certainly not, I didn't think the flight down would be that long...but since you went to all the trouble to prepare it I wouldn't say no at all." A small teasing smile touched his face as the man reached for the airlock, the heavy door hissing open as he stepped back and inclined his head. "After you." They'd been lucky to just get the meeting, let alone anything further, but then that was no different from any business negotiation, everything they had to do was all about finding the right lever to move people, the more time he spent on it the more John was realising how many similarities there were between business and governance.

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Objective 1

The jedi master looked at her padawan and bowed her head. Feeling in the force others getting it, there was a good deal to happen here and the asteroid was large. It would have to be compared to some when she chose the path and felt a telepathic prodding from someone. Her eyebrows raised and receptive telepahty was good but entire sentences could be lost in it if you weren't familiar with the person. It was why giving intent through the force was easier then entire conversations but she could see some images and intentions. "We will need to be careful, one of the silver jedi is using a sleeping gas but... asteroid mines are large.... they would have several vent systems in case of one being damaged."

She sent an feeling back in the force letting the power press as her mind expanded outwards within the force to feel the asteroid. She could feel where minds were, she could feel where life was but it was nearly impossible to differentiate from a distance before the jedi master focused and held a hand to touch h=on the shoulder her padawan and she focused the force to show her. It wasn't easy to explain a detection field it was easier and better to show one how it felt. Sensing within a range they could handle anyone and an unconscious feeling of where they were. Force sensitives like a beacon when they were around and the more familiar the more you knew where and how to find them.

"Breathe, just breathe." She was looking at some parts of it and feeling where some of the people wihtin were located. So they could move around and avoid them as on the edge of her senses. "JUst allow your senses to push but don't exert youtself find a range that is comfortable and the life energies of beings, even the electrical sparks within a droid can be visible to you." She was moving now slowly and leading the way but looked around with her eyes catching the light from a chamber. One of several that opened up into a market. Weapons, foods, gemstones, furs and even some animals were on sale. it looked like a regular marketplace only the armed sentries around keeping the peace was dangerous.

Objective: 1.3 (Recover Gregory Avun)
Allies: [member="Cassius Droma"]
Enemies: Pirates

A hive of villainy, this place was.

But, Liuna felt strangely at home. This sort of location was familiar, offering the same grime-covered streets she'd seen a million times, and it also filled those streets with the right sort of characters to give this place that seedy element she'd come to know and love. Her work took her to these settings quite often, so it was easy to let it all fade to the back of her mind.

She gave her earpiece a little tap. The signal interceptor did its job, immediately releasing quite a cacophony of sound into her ear. There was idle static, humming, and as she listened closely... there were voices.

She squinted at a building in the distance, where she'd pin-pointed their targets only a short while ago. The sort of men currently holding Gregory Avun captive were the ruthless kind. Liuna had not dealt with many hostage situations, but she doubted that the pirates planned to hand him over alive. Catching movement out of the corner of her eye, she turned slightly to find Cassius Droma approaching. She lifted her chin in greeting.

What can I say?” Her leather-clad shoulders rose into a tiny shrug. “When I'm right, I'm right.”

Liuna nodded in the direction of the building.

Seems they've made themselves quite comfortable there. Been monitoring their comm chatter -- not much to mention, but I don't think our guys suspect anything right now, they're just playing the waiting game. However,” She canted her head to the side. “I've heard mention several times of a backer. This might be bigger than we thought.”

Her eyes settled on the holoprojection of their destination – now, they just needed to get there.

Objective 1.1
Allies: SJ
Enemies: Pirates

Lugging around even high-pressure disinfectants mixed in with sleep agents in pressure tanks was not trivial from a stealth standpoint since these pressure tanks were rather heavy and she had enough to disinfect an asteroid outpost with it. But, for now, she had to both keep quiet and stay in low before she could even think of accessing the life support areas. Thus she tried to make sure that there would not be any problems getting to the sweet spot that she would then use for disinfection. Yet she knew that, with so many parties interested in getting to the hostages, the hard part would be to ensure that these parties either know Detoxify Poison or have rebreathers. So she tried to move, slowly and quietly, and make way to the engineering section. Where the primary systems occur, life support, power generation and other stuff of this nature: she wasn't interested in the hostages proper, but there was the risk of someone accidentally colliding with either her or the pressure tank strapped to her back. Yet, for now, the others that were here tended to the more pressing matters.

An undisclosed location...

Dahlia lounged on her sofa, a foot hanging just over the edge, and a high-heeled shoe dangling from her toes. There was a clove cigarette pinched gently between her fingers, the scented smoke rose danced up towards the ceiling. Her long lashes fluttered softly as the door cracked open to reveal her guard, a dining tray balanced on the palm of his hand. Dahlia called him a guard, as he was quite capable of protecting her, but he was more of a butler, really. Putting out her smoke, she held her hand up and a cup of caf was placed into her waiting palm.

Thank you, Alec.” She said, offering the tall man one of her signature grins. “If you please.”

Alec knew to hand over the datapad next, which he did with a slight bow. Dahlia was something of a mystery to him. By appearances, at least at the moment, she was the perfect image of a socialite. A woman of exquisite taste and style, a lady that delighted in ladylike things – shopping on the holonet for shoes, fur coats, fancy parties... but he was one of the very few that knew the real Dahlia. He waited until she'd had a few sips of caf before speaking.

“It seems that Gregory Avun has indeed been taken into custody by the hired men,” He began carefully, but watched as Dahlia's eyes narrowed dangerously. “But, they have issued a ransom.”

That was not part of the plan, was it?” Dahlia asked, sweetly. Though, Alec knew that she was not really posing him a question and kept silent. Opportunists.”

No, no... this was not part of the plan at all. These pirates had been given funds to begin their exploits, they needed only to complete a simple task – kill Gregory Avun. But, even the best plans went awry.

Perhaps this is a means to pay back my generosity.” She said, red lips curled into a sneer.

Objective 2

Wu looked at the man who spoke and remained there as she went through the airlock... trying to think of how best to do it... she could approach and just offer it but it was important to make sure she offered one of the pies to the right people and it was important to observe as she was looking the the people of Nixor. THey were not primitive, they had achieved everything needed to be part of a galactic society but they had just decided mto not so assuming they would be amazed with advanced tech wasn't exactly helpful and they were wide eyed or innocents. Who wouldn't know what they might be able to do. So the best route was diplomatic and respect something that had been soundly lacking the last time she had brought a group. Hmmm maybe she wouldn't have to concede no construction on the planet or its moons like last time. She shrugged to herself though and smiled giving the best look to the people she could see. "Hello all."

Objective 3: Give V something more to do than stand around
Location: On board the Jedi Assault Cruiser
Attn: [member="Veiere Arenais"]
Tom looked around the bridge of the ship sighing as he had been ordered to wait for confirmation that everyone else had done their jobs. He wished and longed he could be with them but after the changes by the vampires damaging him he had yet to officially be given the go ahead to be on the field of combat again. Their was just to much that could go wrong, such as losing himself to his new unknown genetics or how they would influence him around possible force users given there had been at least one running against the SJO recently given the presence of the Sith Spawn on Drogheda.

He looked at the man he was standing next to. He had pledged his assistance many moons ago to assist him and his family with commenor. He hadn't said it in person to him and he hadn't shown up for the medals or other stuff after as that just wasn't his style of things. Probably for the best with what he could remember of the heavy mando presence with over half of clan australis having shown up that day. The same clan he left for reasons he wouldn't share with anyone other than himself.

He finally had enough of the boredom of the ship and waiting on the reports turning to Veiere. He looked the man up and down once more before finally saying. "So why fall to the darkside? I have personally never understood why anyone gives into it fully being trained to fully use both sides of the force myself. So why do it? Moment of weakness? Darkside Nexus?" He wanted to know what had corrupted the man next to him. He knew what had brought him back being his family and his loved ones.

He wanted this information not only for himself but also to figure out why his father had allowed [member="Soloman"] to take over for all those years. What was so good about the darkside that people decided to step down it's steep path. After all he had seen the darkside had done nothing but corrupt and destroy what was worthwhile about everything. Worlds, people, family. So he couldn't understand why so many people continued to fall for it's traps.
