This is Alliser Roche, Captain-Admiral of the Roche Fleet. We're soon to be docking in the Freehold system for a resting period before our next patrol of forceful business-dealing - if you catch my meaning - and I'm in the business of hiring competent men and women to fill some missing links in our ranks. We'll take most anyone, as long as you play nice, don't kill your bunkmate, and don't have too horrid of a sordid past. That, well, and if you can the job you were hired to do.
We need experienced pilots. We need mercenaries for our inevitable boardings and scavenging parties.. And what was the other one? Old Man?
Ah, right. We need a new head cook. Last one was persuaded to leave our ship via the airlock after they were found out to be a shapeshifting monster. Louis, I want you to know it wasn't you, it was me. I couldn't stand your cooking and the fact you almost ate the ship's canine was just a dealbreaker. I'm sorry, buddy.

Out Of Character: I'm starting a new fleet of pirates with this character and I'm looking for people to join me, obviously. My discord is Wayward #5547, and I'm usually(?) active and able to respond unless I'm away at the gym or testing. That said, I'm down to talk to anyone about what they'd like to get out of this group. You don't have to start as a lowly recruit. You could be hired as a new squadron commander, be someone already amongst the crew and this can be disregarded, or really whatever (within reason). I'm super down to start roleplaying and with summer coming around I'll have a lot more time to devote to this.
So that's all there is to it. It'd be a pleasure to have you along, whether you're a new player on this site like me or someone who has been here a while.
