"Sadly, we haven't fully expanded into small arms production yet," Taeli sighed, even though it was in her eventual plans to expand into that regard. "Space mines we could produce, but we're still in that phase before we expand into a new market. I'm sure you understand of course, once upon a time you were likely in the same area I was."

"Small arms are next, but right now Krayt is making sure we keep our ship production and anti-matter research and development as the primary focuses, but we have also begun working into the droid market," she continued. "Why do you ask? I'm curious if an idea struck you."

Danger's lips would quirk into a wider smile.

"Well, I've a proposition for you Miz. Rae." Danger began with her honeyed rasp, the drawl of her voice pouring from the holo-array's voice modulator.

"Browncoat Arms & Industrial is Arceneau Trade Company's main arms and weapons manufacturer. It was formally Czerka Arms..." she would trail off. Being Czerka Arms meant that ATC had a firm base in small arms and armstech.


"However, I've an inkling that perhaps if you are seeking to break into the small arms arena... I am sure we can come up with a mutually beneficial arrangement that can utilize Browncoat's resources along with your anti-matter research."

A quirk of her brow came next.

"Both can work together to make a profit in creating technology that would well suit those needs for a split of the profits."

Her head would cant slightly to the right, the soft smile lingering.

"How does that sound?"

"I would say such an arrangement would be . . . of great interest to me," Taeli said, thinking it over in her head. Danger was offering to help advance the growth of Krayt Industries into a new frontier, with a cut of the profits of course, but that didn't truly matter to Taeli in the short term. Such arrangements did mean better relations and more open doors later down the road.

"What would the exact terms of our agreement be, Miss Arceneau?" she asked, wondering if the Otherspace part of it could be folded into the same agreement or could be ironed out in a separate one.

"I am willing to offer Browncoat's facilities as well as their research and development teams to work alongside yours Miz Tae," Danger began.

"By combining their expertise, we can come up with new methods of small arms with the use of Anti-matter that could perhaps, expand on previous tech as well as innovate new ones."

"You can use this at your jumpstart in moving into the small arms field to specialize in these anti matter weapons, but we both get a cut of the profits. As my facilities would be the ones used in the beginning, perhaps a split profit of 60% to 40%? Both are able to distribute and sell on the marketplace, but my reach would be a bit more wider spread. As your begin to become more familiar with the field and start to build your own facilities, we can cut that back until it reaches an even 50%?"

The smile would linger.

"How does that sound?"

"You are extremely generous, Miss Arceneau," Taeli replied, nodding her head graciously at the businesswoman. "I happily accept the offer, but I must ask, what of an arrangement for operations here in Otherspace? It would seem to me that we, meaning Krayt Industries, would simply step up and provide the materials needed for Hana Station to function adequately?""

"Arceneau Trade has ships capable of Otherspace travel, but the Jen'asha Station also provided a large part of the ore and product for refining. I suggest that we continue that partnership, as dividends of the finished and refined ore are given to you." she stated plainly.

"It is a matter of convenience as much as one of protection. Rave Merrill had several ships capable of otherspace travel as well as escorts -- Do you happen to have the ships with otherspace drives to continue? How about escorts?" she would ask.

Dependant on that, well then they could very well attempt to come up with a method to perhaps make their own otherdrives based off Merrill's concept to expand the fleet.

"Right now, I only have the one Otherspace drive that brought my shuttle here, but we will be reverse-engineering it as another project so we can quickly access this area," Taeli said. "Once we have the drives, which shouldn't be too long because it's very high on the list of priorties I've given my engineers, Krayt has it's own frieghter fleet and escort fleet. Pays to be a shipbuilding company to have those, but we should be able to both expand the operations here and perhaps explore more."

She made a mental note to kick start that project immediately upon her return, she didn't want to be dependant on Danger for this sort of thing. Debts grew that way after all.

Danger gave a nod.

“As ATC also has Otherdrive systems, we can certainly cut the work in half for research and development if we work together -- Haven Shipyards along with my past connections with Iron Crown could aid in that.

Sometimes it is best to ask aid from the professionals who created it first and foremost.” she would tell her.

“Above all, how does everything sound?” she would ask.

“Do we have a deal?”

Taeli was silent for a moment as she thought it over. Danger raised a valid point that having the teams and expertise of the people who first created the Otherspace drives was necessary for expanding Krayt operations in re-creating the technology for themselves. Everything was actually rather balanced in their deal, which she took as a very good sign.

"I believe we have a deal, Miss Arceneau," Taeli replied with a smile. "I'd shake your hand to seal it, but that might need to wait until another time, whenever we meet in person. I must thank you for showing such genorsity in even allowing me this chance to have a relationship with ATC."

Danger would give a nod to [member="Darth Arcanix"].

“Then Miz Rae, looks like we got ourselves and accord.” her holographic image would give her a warm smile.

“The pleasure is all mine, Miz. Rae -- I ain’t here to step on toes. I’m here for business. It has long since been very clear to me that cooperative work is by far more profitable than simply taking all the cookies the jar.

And far more cost effective.” it was all about networking. Right here, right now, Danger had just made another acquaintance and business partner that would span and likely grow.

It was a seed. A seed that Danger had every intetion of ensuring it would flower.

“I will get in contact with Iron Crown Productions to see if they are willing to allow us a measure of their research and development to produce our own otherspace drives.”

A nod came next.

“It has been a pleasure Miz Rae.”

"I can say the same, Miss Arceneau," Taeli said with a smile. "May we have a long and prosperous partnership in our endeavors."

Taeli certainly planned to use this connection to expand further, to increase Krayt's power and influence in the galaxy at large. Danger probably understood and saw the ambition of Taeli, maybe even saw a little bit of herself in the Sith that was sitting before her.

"I shall wait with bated breath to hear how your approach to Iron Crown goes," she said, nodding her head at the woman, and finding she truly meant it. This project would be the start of something amazing.
