OOC: To be honest, I didn't see this coming. I had no pressing designs on making him a Master - I have two lightside masters and one neutral/former sith master, already, so on the matter of it being a personal achievement, I hit that mark roughly 8 - 10 years ago. I'm in no rush, personally, and I've always wanted to be sure that not only did I feel my characters were ready, but that others did too. As it stands, I have no definite fervour as to whether he's ready or not. He just is, but if I had to say one way or another, I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be a good consideration for Master, if that makes sense... but others tend to be able to see what we can't see of ourselves!

And that's why we're here, yes?

IC: Stali being a master would change exactly nothing, perhaps not even the perceptions of others. Most see him as a strong, dependable individual, and he is. As Jedi go, he's of a militant bent, having been a soldier long before he was a Jedi - self-discipline and other features are present because of this, and are a huge influence on how he operates, how he lives, and how he trains students. He believes in being prepared, both with the Force and without. Never stops learning. Never stops improving what needs it. Does whatever he can to be ready.

I know this isn't much of a determining factor (faction dependent, opinion dependent), but he's advanced no students to the rank of knight, having had no steady students, but were he to have a regular, active student, he would do his utmost to oversee their growth, training, and advancement - out of a sense of duty, loyalty, dedication, and... well, he never had a steady master of his own (a fact he attributes to the war with the One Sith), so that might influence him a bit to do everything he can for those who train under and with him.

Working with the military, training as many Jedi to fight as possible - much as the Old Order did in times of war, where training on the lightsaber was a priority in such duel-heavy times - and being where he is most needed (usually as the tank he is) in the war is where I ultimately see him, and often where he is, already. Right now, he walks the path to becoming a battlemaster with his bro, Julius Sedaire, and this will benefit what he does best. Any students are likely to get taken along for this ride, as much as possible.

At any rate, I think any challenges for him might come if Avalore (his romantic partner) or any of the children they are raising are endangered, or if there should ever be a period of peace. He's been operating in the theatre of war for so long, that transitioning to such a thing might be not so easy.

...oops. That got away from me. I hope I've made sense. :)

Had to give this one a bit of thought, as looking through the thread tracker it's perhaps a little less development than I'd usually look for.

Having read through and seeing he above reply I've decided to vote: yes.

There's more I want to do before I have that tag tacked on, but it's good to know that everyone else believes Stali to be ready!
