Grey Eyes
"And You don't have to worry about me... Making poor choices.... I don't think I understand girls enough to even think about getting that far and I prefer the company of boys in general. "
"You won't find me complaining about that," Jasper remarked with a chuckle.
Don't torture yourself...

"You are stupid."
No... that wasn't it. Well, she had certainly called him stupid on plenty of occasions, but that wasn't the advice she had given...
Wandering like.. This, getting yourself beat up for whatever reason, that's not going to help you, ever.
Getting yourself beat up for whatever reason. That was it. Jasper hadn't exactly been the best at following that advice, admittedly, even after she found him bloody and broken in that alleyway all those years ago now. He was the first into battle and the last to run, always ready and willing to put the needs of others over himself. He had grown, and he had allowed others to help him, but there was still a part of his journey that was not yet complete.
And so the decision had already been made.
"You're right," he agreed. "I... need to focus on myself. For the people around me as well as myself. I have already thought about that and come to accept it. It's just gonna take a little getting used to, y'know?"
He nudged Braze with his shoulder.
"I won't torture myself," the Master insisted with a smile. "Promise."
