March of the Imperials [Imperial Remnant Dominion of Kothlis and Krant]

A Lambda T-4a shuttlecraft reverted from hyperspace over the massively populated planet of Manda. Aboard it was a small detachment of Imperial Knights and Guards, as well as the Emperor himself. There was a threat to the Remnant on this world and he was going to end it, personally. The leaders of the rebellious clones were using the defected Kaminoans to create a clone of Graf, it was heresy at the highest form and they needed to be dealt with, permanently.

Concurrent with the Emperor's mission was the massive sector-wide operation to purge the rogue clone threat from their territory forever. Grand Admiral Mahan was leading an invasion on Kothlis, and Director Caalgen was cleansing Krant. This will be a day long remembered, when the Imperial Remnant secured the entire sector and began its conquest of the greater galaxy.

Now begins the March of the Imperials.

OOC:
All opposition is welcomed with open arms, but no large armies or fleets. PMCs and hired troopers allowed at a reasonable amount as well as a few vessels. We are trying to tell a story here, not duke it out.

Objectives:

  1. Subjugate Kothlis - Navy/Army - Kothlis is an industrious world in the Mid Rim, owing its large population of Bothans to its proximity to Bothawui. The Bothans are rumored to be working with certain terrorist organization that seek to rebel against the Remnant’s rule, including rogue clone elements. A swift, clean invasion of this planet has been ordered by the Emperor himself, with only necessary casualties.

  2. Cleanse Krant - Starfighter/Navy - Krant is a planet rather close to Kothlis, hosting a massive asteroid field rich with resources. It is currently infested by rogue clones from Kamino that suckle at the resources that are rightfully ours like a parasite. Wipe them out, all of them. Director Caalgen will assist with the Conqueror-class prototype.

  3. Assassinate Rogue Kaminoans - Intelligence/Inquisitorius - Across this sector of space are numerous Kaminoans who fled from their homeworld during our invasion. The secretive branches of the Remnant have been assigned to take them out. The targets are former Cloning Minister Gu Lan on Felacat, former scientists Zou Ru and Ye Tao on Ukio and Roon respectively, and finally Archives Manager Xun Ai on Lahsbane.

  4. The Emperor Himself - Knights - On the mercantile world of Manda. The leaders of the rogue clone resistance in the sector have gathered for one purpose. Using the cloning technology provided by embittered Kaminoans, they are attempting to clone Emperor Graf, in a final, devastating, attempt to reclaim the sector and destroy the Imperials in a bitter civil war. The Emperor himself has arrived to deal with this threat personally.

  5. Bring Your Own Objective - The possibilities are endless, what will you do?

Purge squadron waited patiently as the asteroids tumbled by. They had been sitting among the rocks for what felt like hours. All power to main systems had been cut and only the life support was left online. The squadron of TIEs and even a few others were awaiting the order from director Calaagen to attack. The plan was simple and straightforward. Imperial forces would draw the bulk of the enemy out of the field. Then the TIEs, hidden by the rock formations would approach them from the rear.

It was rumored that the conqueror class vessel would be fighting with them today. Desmond thought it made perfect sense that this vessel would be used to force their foe into the open. They would soon see that hiding amongst the rocks would abate their demise for only so long. That resistance was futile. And, that by coming out into the open they at least had a fighting chance. No matter how small it is. Whether they fought or hid they would be doomed. This was assured no matter what.

Mahan stood alone, the bright, familiar cylindric view of hyperspace set before him. Behind him the bridge was alive with activity as the fleet prepared to attack the lonely planet of Kothlis. Backed by Rogue Kaminoan elements, the planetary defense fleet was not to be taken lightly. They had been building up for years after former occupations, and coupled with the fleet power stolen by the rogue clones they were prepared for the Imperial Remnant's eventual invasion. "General stations, general stations, exiting light speed over hostile world, general stations, general stations." Rung out constantly over the intercom of the ship. It was time.

Slowly the long stretched stars, began to grow smaller and smaller eventually returning to their normal dot size as the Imperial fleet exited hyperspace. Klaxons were raised and sirens blared, officers and enlisted terminal operators rushed back and forth behind the Grand Admiral. Without emotion, his XO approached him, Rear Admiral Kree'lin Vao, "Sir, preliminary scans have found fourteen warships bearing Kothlis transponsders, and over thirty small attack craft bearing the same signal. Naval Intelligence has identified and tagged three Nebulon B frigates, four CR90 corvettes, two Assault Frigate mark twos, two Bothan frigates, and a Venator Star Destroyer. We've identified the attack craft as a mix of X-wing and V-wing fighters, with an assortment of Y-wing bombers. Orders?" The Venator Star Destroyer caught Mahan's attention, no doubt that would be the main source of enemy firepower, "Have all vessels report statuses, ensure all our assets made it through without trouble. Scramble the TIEs," Mahan paused, "And prepare boarding parties, once we have their flagship disabled we shall capture any remaining command structure."

After a few quick taps on her datapad, the comms officer called in reports, which began to ring over the comms channel of the fleet, "Allegiance class Star Destroyer, Providence, reporting." "Imperial class Star Destroyer, Subjugator, reporting." "Imperial class Star Destroyer, Emperor's Wrath, reporting." "Acclamator class Assault Ship, Angel of Rishi, reporting." "Acclamator class Assault Ship, Staunch, reporting." "Acclamator class Assault Ship, Conquerer, reporting." The comms officer turned to the Grand Admiral, "All vessels reporting." Mahan nodded in return, "Radar Operator, when will we encroach firing range?" The young woman did not look up form her terminal, "Two minutes, sir." Mahan spoke without pause, "Prepare firing solutions from the our Star Destroyer escorts on the Venator's starboard canons, increase throttle to flank speed on all Star Destroyers. Order the Acclamators to employ all deflector shield power to their bows'." His Rear Admiral responded, "Sending orders sir," Mahan set his hands behind his back, "Prepare the Providence for full turbolaser barrage on the Venator's port canons." He was interrupted by the radio operator, "We will be in firing range in one minute sir." Mahan continued, "Have the Acclamators engage the Nebulon Bs, then target the CR90s, if our invasion force is too make it to the ground, their fast attack craft must be disabled." The Rear Admiral replied, "Sir, what of the TIEs?" "Have our fighters engage their attack craft, they must be eliminated at all costs, but hold the bombers for now, they will be needed for later." The Rear Admiral saluted, before leaving to attend the CIC, "Yes sir." The radio operator gave him no time to think, "We are in firing range, sir!" From this distance Mahan could already see the enemy fleet firing their first salvos,

"Fire."

Victor was already lined up in full Stormtrooper armor with many other Stormtroopers in the hanger bay. They were already briefed on what was going on before they made the hyperspace jump to Kothlis. Around him in the hanger bay was many walkers and ships ready to be launched on the ground to take over Kothlis, One of Victor's men quickly hit Victor with his elbow to get his attention. "Now's not the best time." Victor said, then the stormtrooper said "Oh cheer up a bit, it'll be a while until our ships can clear the fleet around Kothlis. Might as well talk for a bit." Victor ignored what the stormtrooper said, but he insisted on talking "So, who do you think will lead this mission on the ground?" Victor thinks about the chain of command, of who could possibly lead the ground mission. "I'm sure it will be High Colonel Morcus."

An officer then walks by where Victor and the other stormtrooper were, looking around cautiously at the lines of the stormtroopers then walking off from where Victor is. "Phew... You sure he'll come along for this mission?" Victor has thought of other commanders. "I'm sure he has to, who else has the skill to take over an entire planet?" the officer walks Victor's way, then going in-front of Victor and the stormtrooper, not looking happy. "Cut the chatter you two, this is a very important operation. Keep your mind focused." he then walks off. Victor and the stormtrooper looks at each other but obeys the officer's command and looks at the front at full attention once more.

It was almost time for the small fleet to drop out of hyperspace to refuel. The travel has been long and there was still a fair bit to go till the destination. While it was rare the sekallien navy used other worlds different from their own to conduct flight training. The ability to adapt to the environment was a skill all pilots needed. War was something the world is no stranger too. Many times it's been attacked and every time it achieved victory. Though now is different, those times before the world had allies and friends. The republic gone and the libita's lack of funding to keep it running made these trying times.

As Queen her people looks up to her to do what is needed and defend them. As queen she had to make the hard choices too. Still Sanya knew not everyone on the world trusts her. Although it's moved past the black rose onto her desire to destroy the dark nexus that plagued the world. Many still believed in the sith traditions forgetting it was the sith who attacked last. With the nexus gone it would improve peoples lives for the better. Although she also understood the world needed the force it's self. So if left without support it could be catastrophic. It was no simple removal. The nexus would have to be reborn.

"Milady?" Asuna said coming to stand by her side as she relaxed with her caffeinated drink. "We will be dropping out of hyperspace soon and your been requested to come to the bridge. Something about an interruption that could effect our flight path." Sanya could hear the concern in the girls voice. "Very well. I'll be up shortly." Quickly she finished the drink leaving a small amount in the bottom of the cup as she always did. It was still hot and she could feel the heat move down her throat.

It was a short few minutes but even Sanya could tell the vessel had stopped. She could also feel something off. As she arrived at the bridge everyone was in a state of quiet chatter that left tension in the air. "Queen on deck." The woman said standing at right and saluting alone with others. "At ease." Sanya said walking closer to the center. "What's the situation?" Her eyes fell upon the officer expecting for some detail of what was happening. "We are reading several large war ships are above kothlis. Unsure who they belong to or what is happening as of yet but our fleet has stopped to keep distance till your orders."

At that instance the vessels off in the distance began firing upon each other. She sighed while thinking. Either way they couldn't make another jump for now. Not without been two vessels down and if they stayed here the fleet would be dragged in to battle. "Put me through to the fleet." The holo images of the other four commanders popped up on the command table who all now where awaiting orders. "Raise your shields and ready the weapons as just a precaution. We are left with little choice but to pass by. If we get caught up in the battle then we will have to chose sides." "Wouldn't it be better to chose sides now?" Commander Durann said thinking military thoughts. "No. If we chose sides now then we'd definitely get shot upon and attacked. This is not our fight till we come under assault. Runner black and blue you will take point. Be prepared for incoming fighters. Meda, Elleste get into arrow formation. B-wing squadrons stay behind us and unlock s-foils."

Each ship would begin moving and getting into the formation. Alarms rang through the rest of the ship for pilots to get to their fighters. If they deployed the only other people left on the blood line would be those in the room she stood in now. The rest of the ship was automated. Guns controlled by droid brains, better at calculating shots. Engineering controlled by terminals and droids. Designed to minimize organic life from harm. The fleet grew closer to those engaged in battle. Even though holos where no longer up the com's where open for reports and orders. "My queen, we are picking up nine X-wing fighters braking away from the Nebulon B and heading towards us. They are in attack position and locking."...

High Inquisitor Avedia Lacroix stood on the bridge of the lead vessel under the command of Butch Mahan. Arms folded across her chest, she observed the bridge quietly in the corner, out of the way so as to not affect Mahan's command. She listened to the Admiral handing out orders, and watched the bridge officers of the crew complying with them. Every now and then one of the officers would look in her direction before quickly turning away when they realized that she was staring back at them. She found this enjoyable, drinking in the fact that she was still an intimidating presence despite the facade that she had built around herself.

The Emperor had made it clear to the Sith Lord that she was to keep her abilities a secret, less she become an enemy of the state and hunted down until dead. Instead of the fiery gaze that she had given to Graf when they had first met on Kamino, Avedia's eyes were dark brown so as to conceal the fact that she followed the ways of the dark side. Instead of her skin and hair being alive with the power of the Force, they now no longer shined as she kept her powers concealed from the likes of [member="Alexandra Feanor"] and the others Knights that served the Emperor.

Hanging from her hip was the blue bladed Lightsaber that had constructed as a Jedi Knight. It would serve a use in the facade, for the Saberstaff she had constructed much later in life would be a dead give away to who and what she really was. Walking out of the corner she had been standing in for the past few hours, Avedia made her way to Admiral Mahan and said: "The Emperor would be most displeased if you fail to handle the subjugation of Kothlis, Admiral. I will continue watching and observing your command from afar. I hope, for us both, that you are victorious."

The trade of turbolasers from each side was immense. It did not take long before the Allegiance, and its escort and escorted vessels began to take damage, "Sir, the Providence is experiencing heavy fire on our port wing, decks eight through twelve." Mahan did not break his stare of the enemy fleet through the bridge's exceptionally large viewport, "Enable damage control through all corridors with damage ratings of seventy or higher, any levels beyond saving will be closed off, we must minimize fire damage and casualties." A worried commander approached him, "The star destroyer, Subjugator, has suffered heavy damage, including a concussion missile barrage which has destroyed their bridge and most of their senior leadership." Mahan didn't flinch, "Have them reroute their networking to work in conjunction to our CIC, inform captain Jyn Dis'sn he is now commander of the Subjugator and have him on a shuttle in minutes." Before the commander could reply, the radar operator exclaimed, "A squadron of Y-wing bombers is approaching the Providence. We have interpreted their trajectory to our bow turbolaser batteries." Mahan clenched his fist, his eye on the holoindicators encircling the dots that were indeed that very Y-wing squadron, "All topside point defense canons target those Y-Wings!" The grey angled hull lit up as the canons angled towards the Z rotation in an attempt to stop the Y-wings from delivering their payload.

The sudden tremor of the entire ship, nearly knocking Mahan of his feet, told him the defense had not been entirely successful, "Two of the Y-wings made it through the point defense canons, two of our forward turbolaser canons have been completely disabled." Seething with anger, Mahan ordered, "Reassign a TIE squadron on those Y-wings, ensure that they just completed their final bombing run on our fleet." Before Mahan could reassess the Providence's current condition, the radio operator skeptically announced, "Several vessels have exited hyperspace over Kothlis, bearing, Sekellian Navy signals?" Mahan stood without words, momentarily, "Comms officer, hail their command vessel, inform them the Imperial Remnant holds claim on this system, that they are interfering in Imperial Navy operations. Order them to leave the planet's orbit or bear the Remnant's wrath." The commander nodded, "Aye, sir." Mahan pondered their arrival shortly before being interrupted by the radar operator, "Sir, their forces are being engaged by enemy attack craft." Mahan scratched his chin, "Interesting, keep monitoring their fleet, for now."

Mahan took a breather, stepping back from the holographic overlayed viewport in front of him. The battle was slowly becoming closer and closer, both side's vessel encroaching on the other's position. Mahan had yet to break through their impressive defense, thus preventing the ground assault detachment from landing, but it was inevitable. Already they had destroyed a few of the defender's vessels, a CR90, a Nebulon B, even one of the Mark Twos had been severely damaged. Their defeat would come in due time, but he was interrupted once again, but this time not by one of his deck officers, no, this time it was one of [member="Tanomas Graf"]'s mysticists, the High Inquisitor [member="Avedia Lacroix"]. The Grand Admiral grit his teeth at her authoritative comment, Mahan would not stand being ordered around on his own ship, "It would be a shame if I received a bad grade on your report, then you would be forced to learn what little power you Inquisitors hold is, like your oh so valued force," Mahan glared down the young Inquisitor, with his pupiless eyes, "all a bunch of smoke and mirrors."

''Now now, Miss Lacroix. The Grand Admiral knows what he's doing.'', the Grand Inquisitor said as he arrived upon the bridge, escorted by two Death Troopers. While it was true that the Inquisitorius held no official power, that was not true of it's leader. He had gained great favour with the Emperor for his actions on Kamino, and served as his personal enforcer. ''The Emperor has sent us to assist this operation however we can, Grand Admiral. I will have my Inquisitors deployed in their fighters immediately, to provide additional support.'', he said, moving to stand beside Mahan as he gazed out at the space battle before him. ''This sector will be the first of many campaigns to secure the territories around Kamino. We must shore up our flanks before we begin our restoration of the Empire proper.'', Morcus said, his hands gently clasped behind his back.

Meanwhile, another vessel joined with Mahan's fleet, the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer codenamed ''Black Reach''. It's hull was painted jet black and marked with mysterious, yet elegant sigils. Squadrons of Inquisitor-manned TIE Defenders and TIE Advanced X1's deployed from it's hangar bays, moving to intercept the Rebel bombers assailing their fleet.

Averting her gaze from the Grand Admiral to the new entrant, Avedia observed the Grand Inquisitor as he walked forward. As he spoke, the Sith Lord subtly felt out with the Force to feel the man's power. She found him lacking. This one will be of no threat to me... Unless he possesses a calculative, cunning mind. During her service as a Jedi Knight, Avedia had been in the presence of many weaker, inferior fools. But what the weak made up for in strength was the ability to be cunning and calculative. As an individual, Avedia was confident she could kill any opponent that she was pitted against in open combat. But as she had learned from the likes of [member="Darth Abyss"], a cunning and calculative opponent could still prove to be threatening.

I think this one requires further observation before I make any decision in their regards. Breaking her silence, Avedia turned to the Grand Inquisitor and said: "It is good to finally meet you in person."

"Director Travis Caalgen has arrived to provide support."

That message would ring out through the Imperial communication frequencies as the Conqueror-class Star Destroyer Silencer reverted from hyperspace over the forested world of Krant. The massive proton beam cannon installed in the middle of the destroyer glowed from the sunlight rushing from the system's primary star. Director Caalgen stood on the bridge of the vessel, smirking widely. The Emperor had permitted him to keep the prototype Conqueror-class for his personal vessel and mobile research lab of the Advanced Weapons Research Division within the Imperial Military.

His clean white cape fluttered behind him while he observed the crew at their stations and in the pits. "Analyze the asteroid field and find their main base. Target for single reactor ignition. We only need to flush them out, not destroy the resources in these asteroids entirely." The director said. One of the crewman responded quickly "Yes, director. Scan is estimated to take ten minutes due to the density of the asteroids and the interference from ore deposits". Another crew member, a young ensign reported "Reactor number three charging proton beam. Estimated time is seven minutes". Caalgen's smirk only widened.

The power that they were dealing with here, was immeasurable.

Alarm Klaxons sounded as the Ruination, one of the Remnant’s active Imperial Star Destroyers indicated that the small micro-jump, which it had indeed been no more then thirty minutes out of their docking station on Kamino.
“Reverting in 3…” Someone said from one of the pits nearby. “2…1…”
Starlines faded and the view screen filled instead with space filled with an asteroid field scattered in the far distance.

“Raise the shields.” Tari Prule watched, incredulous, as asteroids as large as their Star Destroyer formed a twisting and circling wall beyond their own shields of protection. The freshly assigned Commander and first officer looked back towards the nearest Imperial. “Any release damage?”

“None, Commander.”

Good, with a jump like this there had been the full chance that a rogue asteroid could have hit them during the revert. After all the enormous Imperial-Class starship arriving at the very edge of an asteroid field was brash, bringing it perilously close to forces beyond an enemy cruiser. She had to be cautious, the Ruination was too new to be brought back with scratches.

Then again it wouldn’t be her that would get the honour or disgrace dependant on the day, that belonged to Captain Haltul. The older, more seasoned Imperial Officer that was stood near the First Officer. This was his ship, his shake-down run. She was just here for the ride.

“Form up with Caalgen’s fleet.” Haltul declared to those around him, a series of confirmations sounding as the Imperial Star Destroyer sliced through space towards the already present and very much prototype Conqueror in the distance.

... "What are your orders my queen?" The commander of runner black said. Sanya watched for a moment on the holo table quickly thinking strategy. Although until the fighters fire they cannot fire back. "Hold fire till I give the order. Blade wing squadrons get ready to intercept. Runner black and blue. Target the fighters. If they fire get them in a cross fire. Meda, Elleste only engage your weapons if they go on the outside of us. We don't want to hit our own." Her orders where straightforward and easy to follow. The starfigters rapidly closed in and split their formation into three squads of three. Doing so gave away their plan of attack. A tactic as old as the clone wars it's self and a foolish one.

In moments the central group of x-wings would open fire upon her ship. "All ships return fire. I repeat all ships return fire!" Her voice carried authority but little surprise. The sekallien runners would create the crossfire trapping an x-wing in it's wrath and partially damaging another. Meda and Elleste would also open fire on the X-wings on the outside but their maneuverability made it difficult to score hits. Still even with the outside x-wings riding on luck the blade wings would tare them apart one by one as they split up to avoid fire.

Leaving the holo table Sanya walked closer to the window up at the front of the bridge. Her walk was relaxed and composed. Not a sign of worry striked her face. "All weapons fire on the two remaining x-wings in front before they make a second run and get ready to transmit a message to those star destroyers." "Yes malady." She once more walked back to the holo table and folded her arms behind her back. "This message is addressed to the fleet commander. I am Queen Val Swift as of this moment we have a common enemy who has declared war against the Sekallien Navy by attacking us without been provoking. I am requesting to join you in this battle show them the consequences of their actions. If you accept please hail me on this channel that is been attached to this message." As the tactical display came back on she could see the last of the X-wings had been destroyed. "Bring us in closer but keep distance till we have had a reply, I want us ready to move in. Formation stays the same. Launching order will go Elleste and Redeemer. Squadron leaders have time to go over plans."

It was not long before Desmond began to notice the tears in real space that signified the arrival of another fleet. Blue flashing lights like giant explosions blinked off in the distance and erupted to life. Giant ships came spewing out of hyperspace just meters away from the asteroid field. A dangerous maneuver, but one so expertly executed it had to be praised. If this newly arrived fleet did not garner the enemies attention nothing would.

Hundreds of arc fighters and bombers came spewing out of not one, but three of the larger asteroids on the edge of field. It would seem the Imperials had no large craft to lock on, but then five MC40A’s would slingshot around the large asteroids and lay in orbit of them. Ready to defend their base to the death. The smaller craft would just breach the confines of the asteroid field as purge squadron and the rest launched to meet them.

“It looks like they think we won’t brave the depths to meet them,” Purge one

“Fools. We won’t need to with our new weapon,” Desmond replied over his comms smartly.

Purge squadron raced to meet the nearest enemy squadron and the resulting skirmish resulted in a cacophony of explosions. The Imperial TIE’s had managed to catch the enemy completely off guard due to the TIE’s lying in wait amongst the asteroid field. So, as the enemy fighters zoomed by the TIE’s launched and completely surprise attacked them from the rear.

Sergius Maro

Maro..... You magnificent b*stard, I READ YOUR BOO
Allies- Imperial Remnant
Enemies- Resistance to the Empire on Kothlis
Objective- Claim the planet Kothlis in the name of the Imperial Remnant

Sergius Maro was deployed on the beaches of Kothilis, with him a small force of around thirty stormtroopers and a personal AT-ST, though he wished for an AT-AT he wasn't quite ready for one yet. He needed to prove that he was a capable leader. This was his first real mission except for perhaps guard duty on Kamino, so he gave a salute to his commanding officer and was transported to the shores of the planet. His AT-ST's legs waded in the water and his troops trudged through the beach's sand as the Imperial invasion began. There were AT-ATs, though not under his command firing at the Bothans attempting to defend and legions of soldiers also not under his command firing at the strange mammalian creatures. Seeing all the units on the field, then looking at his measly battalion brought him great amounts of depression, he wanted to command more troopers...... To become a hero of the Empire, impress the Emperor himself and the High Command..... But he needed to work his way to the top, not for power, because he felt he was to be able to do great things for his fellow Imperials. So with half of his body standing out of his walker's "head" he pointed forward and shouted

"Right men, it's time to make the Empire proud!!! Forwaaaard march!!!"

He slid his body back into the cockpit and closed the top hatch. An anxious look riddled his face as he put a fist to his lips and his pilots began firing at the Bothans, making them fly to the air and their corpses hurling back to the ground

"Stand at attention!" the officer yelled, any chatter the stormtroopers just had or if the stormtrooper were occupied, they instantly went back to full attention at the front of where the officer is. "We are led to believe Grand Admiral Mahan has destroyed enough ships for us to land down a few troopers to the ground." The officer then starts walking around certain parts of the lines, looking closely at each stormtrooper. "Hmm... your squad can go." then a bunch of stormtroopers start rushing to the shuttle, he walks by a few other squads and ordering them to go on, then starting to order companies to go onto the shuttles. "Alright. I believe that will- wait..." he then walks to Victor's squad. "Hmm... I suppose we could use some extra men down there, alright. Your squad can head on over to a shuttle."

Victor walks out of the line, signalling his men to follow him to a shuttle. Victor's squad strapped themselves in fast into their Sentinel Landing Craft and not before long, the order was given to go. Victor saw some of the ships carrying tanks and walkers. They started flying to the planet but the shuttles started to receive enemy fire. The shuttles were pulling evasive maneuvers but a few got shot. At the launch from the hanger bay there was about 40 shuttles and now, only 23, most of them got away thanks to the Imperial Fleet taking away most of their attention. The shuttles reached the atmosphere of Kothlis but started to receive fire from the ground. "Enemy fire! prepare for evasive maneuvers!" more of the shuttles started to get shot down, before Victor could see what else was going on his shuttle got hit, the engines start to ignite. The pilot yells at the back of the shuttle "Prepare yourselves for a hot landing!" Victor's shuttle crashes to the ground, hitting his head hard against the wall of the shuttle, getting knocked out.

"Lieutenant are we ready?" He said.

"Yes Captain, Sir." Commander said.

"Bring us out of hyperspace." Darren said.

The ships came out of Hyperspace on the other side of the asteroid field. Darren looked at the MC40a's from him the bridge. He placed his hand on his face. Those ships were useless against the Imperial fleet. He chuckled.

"Tell the arquiten cruisers to engage the MC40a's, Launch our fighters. They will engage the enemy fighters." He said.

The Arquiten's broke off the fleet then moved towards the MC40a's guns blazing. TIE's zoomed out of the hangers of the 3 Star Destroyers. They went into a storm of laser fire from enemy ships and fighters.

"Disable those ships. We send in boarding craft to capture those ships. Press the attack." He said.

Fleet:
1 Nebula Class Star Destroyer
3 Arquitens-Class light cruisers

Butch Mahan

Si vis pacem, para bellum
Mahan slowly let his anger dissipate, replaced by the urgency to return to the battle, and the confusion of not knowing, not one, but two Inquisitors were aboard his very own flagship. Nodding towards Grand Inquisitor, he replied, "I thank you for the valuable addition to my attack force, your Inquisitor reinforcements shall surely accelerate our victory over this puny resistance." Finished with the, guests aboard his bridge, Mahan returned to his station. He was approached by two of his deck officers, two who had been fairly active in the discussion of strategy of the fleet during this battle.

The communications officer began without formal proceedings, "Sir, the Sekellian Fleet is refusing to retreat from the orbit, and is requesting to," the middle aged man sighed, "join, the battle, on our side of course." Mahan's face scrunched, "Inform them what has been previously stated, I will not breach protocol for the help of a ragtag planetary defense fleet who feels as if they can interfere with my military operation all to suit their requirement to be some sort of diluted heroes." Another officer stepped forward, not the woman who had accompanied the Comms officer, "Shall we engage them?" Mahan grit his teeth, "No, we cannot waste time or assets on what is essentially no threat to our fleet, currently. Continue current firing solutions and vessel trajectories." The new addition to the conversation saluted, "Yes sir," Finally, the officer who had been waiting on the previous officers spoke, "Sir, all three Acclamator class Assault Ships have launched their shuttle craft, including their primary assault force aboard those vessels." Mahan's eyes grew wide with anger, "What!? What of the shuttles and gunships from the Star Destroyers?" Nervously, she responded, "S-sir, they have not laun-" Mahan interrupted her with a roar of orders, "Comms, inform them at no point they are to launch their primary assault force without direct order from me personally. I want the captains of those vessels contacting me via hologram immediately! This insolence shall not go unpunished."

Once again another officer interrupted, "Sir, the Black Reach is requesting orders." Mahan turned, "Inform them they are to provide supporting fire for the main assault fleet, they are not to engage in broadside action." Without reply the officer nodded. Without a moment to spare, three blue forms began to flicker aboard the bridge, each wearing the Imperial Navy uniform, no doubt the COs of the Assault Ships attached to Mahan's fleet. Mahan cracked his neck as he prepared to scream bloody mary at their act of insubordination.

* * * * * *

The battle continued to rage outside the bridge of the Providence as Mahan made his own inside. The Kothlis fleet had been fighting hard, but after severe combat with the far superior Imperial fleet, they had begun to take multiple losses. Their CR90 craft were all but destroyed, as their remains floated about the various vessels. Some disabled, some damaged, and a few obliterated, their Nubelon Bs and Bothan Frigates had suffered, but not in vain. Whilst their own fleet had taken a substantial amount of damage, even a Mark Two Assault Frigate being nearly destroyed, the Imperial fleet had taken a beating. Despite superior numbers the TIE wings had been all but victorious, being picked off by their more determined X-wing and V-wing counterparts. All three (Not including the new addition) Star Destroyers had taken a beating, but the Subjugator was on the brink of death, with its deflector shields low, its bridge spread across the battlefield, and many of its own turbolaser batteries damaged beyond repair, its survival was very much a low possibility.

The Imperial shuttlecraft set down on one of the hundreds of landing pads on Manda. Before security could investigate or engineers could refuel the shuttle, the landing ramp abruptly lowered and Emperor Graf followed by two Imperial Guardsmen and four Imperial Knights stomped onto the pristine metal platform. The old man knew exactly where he was going to end the threat to his rule over the Imperial Remnant.

Earlier Imperial Intelligence had supplied him with the location of the resistance leaders and cloning vats. Apparently they had purchased the land where an old market bazaar had once operated, bringing prosperity in an age long past. Field Agents in the area had reported that numerous material was being delivered to the area as well as something a noticeable amount of power from the regional electricity grid. It was the cloning vats and Graf knew it.

As the onyx-clad Emperor and his scarlet guardians marched down the busy street, much to the confusion of many people, the muzzle of a blaster caught Tanomas' eye but before either him or his would-be assassin could react, the Imperial Guardsmen employed a lethal shock to the man who was revealed to be one of the rogue clones. Malice swept through the Emperor's eyes, they knew he was here and they were intent on stopping him at all costs.

Even with the now confirmed imperial fleet hammering into the world's defence fleet. They themselves were taking considerable damage. A message had been sent back ordering retreat from orbit. As much as she'd have ignored that anyway it wasn't a possibility. Her fleet wouldn’t have had the fuel to make another jump. "Trace what ship sent the message. I want to speak to the man in charge. Put it up on my personal communicator." She said in annoyance. "Until communication has been established move in around the damaged star destroyer. Hopefully buy the ship some time. Lock all X-wings and Y-wings as hostile and ties as friendly. Send word to other commanders these orders. Elleste will take port side meda will take starboard. Black you will stay behind Elleste blue behind meda. We will take point in front of the star destroyer. All S-14N’s will combine all fire on the remaining Nebulon B's. Hopefully draw it off the star destroyer itself. Runners will target only star fighters, bomber types first." Once more her voice carried authority. No doubt the other vessels commanders would deem this an unnecessary move. They'd probably argue it if she was any other person.

"Asuna?" Sanya looked at the girl. "Take charge." "Yes milady but where are you going?" "I'm going to fight this from the gunship. Me and the B-wings can avoid the frigates fire. Longs as those shields go down we can hit hard." As she made her way off the bridge to the elevator she'd hail the imperials lead ship. She waited for the small green light to say the connection had been made.

"If you hadn't already noticed, I've ordered my fleet to protect the subjugator class destroyer and moving into position. As much as you'd like us to go that is simply not a possible option. We lack the necessary fuel to make another jump and your our best shot to get planetside. Besides I don't see any reinforcements jumping to your side and you're taking damage fast. Oh one more thing I may not be one of yours nor know your rules, but I know from experience that pride can cost a victory. Don't let it cost yours. I'm no rookie none of my people are." Sanya knew she'd probably hit some nerves there and expected some insults, followed by rules and regulations, followed by don't underestimate us. Things she heard before then those people suffered a defeat that could have been avoided.

The elevator had stopped on the armoury deck. She had no time to waste as she shut of the holo imaging from her com. As the channel remained open between her and the imperial ship she began equipping her armor. Each piece was heavy the only part easy to put on was the lower half that she simply stepped into and closed around her to connect to the rest.
