POINTS OF INTEREST
  • The Great Hall of Ancestors: This expansive chamber serves as the heart of the Manda Temple of Yavin. Adorned with ancient Mandalorian banners and symbols, the Great Hall pays homage to the esteemed ancestors of the Mandalorian Protectors. A towering epithet to the Resol’nare stands at the center, a symbol of Mandalorians and their strength. The walls are adorned with intricate murals depicting legendary Mandalorian warriors and their triumphs in battle, inspiring reverence and respect among those who enter. Throughout the Great Hall are statues devoted to various Mandalores, but not all Mandalores are represented, hinting at the innate biases that the Ancestors possess.
  • The Shrine of Resilience: Nestled within the temple's inner sanctum, the Shrine of Resilience is a sacred space dedicated to the indomitable spirit of the Mandalorian people. Here, Mandalorian warriors gather to pay tribute to their resilience in the face of adversity. The shrine features an ancient Beskar altar, where offerings of weapons and armor are laid in honor of fallen comrades. Mandalorian creeds and sayings adorn the walls, serving as reminders of the unyielding determination that defines their culture.
  • The Chamber of Remembrance: Tucked away in a quiet corner of the temple, the Chamber of Remembrance is a place of quiet contemplation and reflection. Mandalorian warriors come here to honor the memory of their fallen brethren, lighting candles and offering prayers for those who have bravely sacrificed their lives in service to the Mandalorian Protectors. The chamber is adorned with memorial plaques and inscriptions, each bearing the name of a revered Mandalorian warrior whose legacy lives on within the hearts of their kin.
  • The Arena of Trials: A formidable arena within the temple grounds, the Arena of Trials is where Mandalorian warriors test their skills and prowess in combat. Surrounded by towering pillars and adorned with ancient Mandalorian battle standards, the arena serves as a proving ground for aspiring warriors seeking to prove themselves worthy of the Mandalorian legacy. Spectators gather in the stands to witness the trials, cheering on their comrades as they face formidable challenges and adversaries.
  • Resol’nare Hall: A solemn and somber chamber, Resol’nare Hall serves as a reminder of the Mandalorian Protectors' strict code of honor and conduct. Adorned with ancient Mandalorian sigils and glyphs, the hall is filled with relics and artifacts representing forbidden practices and actions. Mandalorian warriors come here to reflect on their adherence to the Resol'nare—the six central tenets of Mandalorian culture—and to reaffirm their commitment to upholding the honor of their ancestors.
  • The Long House: A warm place, where kitchens work to keep food ready for Mandalorians and their vode. Long tables stretch across the dining hall, rooms for rest and relaxation are built into the upper levels. A large sauna sits in the basement, allowing for Mandalorians to let their war-weary muscles relax.

SECURITY
Security Rating:
High

Perimeter Defenses:

  1. Guarded Entry Points: The entrances to the Manda Temple of Yavin are heavily guarded by Mandalorian sentinels, trained in both combat and surveillance techniques. They scrutinize all incoming individuals and vehicles, ensuring that only authorized personnel gain access to the temple grounds.
  2. Sensor Arrays: Advanced sensor arrays are strategically positioned around the perimeter of the temple, capable of detecting any unauthorized presence or intrusions. These sensors provide real-time monitoring of the surrounding jungle, alerting security personnel to potential threats.
  3. Patrol Drones: Surveillance drones equipped with state-of-the-art sensors and cameras patrol the skies above the temple, monitoring the jungle canopy for any signs of activity. These drones provide aerial reconnaissance and support to ground-based security forces.
Internal Defenses:

  1. Security Checkpoints: Throughout the temple's interior, security checkpoints are established to monitor the movement of individuals within the complex. Mandalorian guards stationed at these checkpoints verify credentials and conduct thorough inspections to ensure the safety and security of the temple's occupants.
  2. Biometric Locks: High-security areas within the temple are protected by biometric locks, requiring the use of Mandalorian DNA signatures or retinal scans for access. This advanced technology prevents unauthorized entry and safeguards sensitive information and artifacts housed within the temple.
  3. Emergency Response Teams: Trained emergency response teams are on standby within the temple, ready to mobilize at a moment's notice in the event of a security breach or threat. These teams are equipped with specialized weaponry and equipment to neutralize any hostile incursions and protect the temple and its occupants.
  4. Surveillance Systems: Closed-circuit surveillance cameras are strategically placed throughout the temple's interior, providing continuous monitoring of key areas. These surveillance systems allow security personnel to maintain vigilant oversight and respond swiftly to any security incidents or breaches.
  5. Security Shields: In critical areas of the temple, energy shields can be activated to fortify defenses and protect against physical and energy-based attacks. These shields provide an additional layer of protection, enhancing the temple's resilience against external threats.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

After the events of the Yavin Campaign, the old Jedi Temple became the Temple of Manda. A place where travel weary vode could come and rest. A place where they could begin to commune with the Manda. Some say that the spirits of the ancestors dwell within the structure and others believe it to be the will of the Force. The temple’s official founding for Manda is somewhere between 901 and 902 ABY.
