All Blades, before they can be sent on missions as a Squire of the order, are required to take part in the forging of their own "sacred blades," force-imbued swords blessed by Ashla. Maksayr, or "Purification Sword" in Shani's dialect of Togruti, is hers. With her specialties being more of the consular and shadow variety, the Togruta opted for a smaller, lighter, and more defensive blade that would complement her skills. A Wakizashi-style sword built with songsteel and made to be very light, Maksayr is only roughly about 45 centimeters long, easily concealed on Shani's back or thigh. Forged like all swords of the blades in an environment rich in Ashla's warmth, this sword has been blessed by Ashla and imbued with her power throughout its forging, allowing her to channel her abilities through the sword.

- Force-Dampening: When in an area where the force is dampened or dead, such as a Yslamiri bubble, the sword is just a really nice sword, losing the extra advantages its force imbuements give the wielder.
- Tendrils of the Dark Side: Concentrated attacks using the dark side can weaken the force imbuement on this sword, and the application of sith alchemy could even corrupt or destroy it entirely.
