Making some...unsavory acquaintances.

Hullo all, so I'm trying to find peeps willing to thread with me that are... Sketchy characters. Smugglers, bounty hunters, crime lords, ya know the unsavory sorts. Thing is my character is a Jedi, smuggler, and bounty hunter. Her moral compass doesn't always point North but she's not a hired gun for assassination plots either. The bounty work she does she ALWAYS takes the questions about the targets to nth degree and won't bring in people dead unless attacked first or her target has taken advantage of or is being used as leverage.

So I need peeps that can introduce a primarily good-gal Jedi/ Smuggler /Bounty hunter to some more well criminal elements while being able to maintain the overall purity of my character's moral compass.

Right now I'm trying to get a little bit outside of the typical Jedi role. The whole guardians of peace and justice throughout the galaxy gets a bit old after awhile.

Hey there! My character, while he doesn't view himself as a criminal for what he does, he knows he's a criminal for what he helps accomplish. He's a Kaminoan Slicer. Hacker-for-hire.

Well...that was quick. Apparently I can speed dial intergalactic criminals now Joking aside though do you have any heists, smuggling, or other various things planned, or avialable to join? I'm trying to make my Jedi character IC have some criminal background/ not Jedi approved adventures. Having spent some time trolling the threads I've seen a few you've done and I like your character. She's in a word a spitfire. So thought I'd mention my interest by tagging you.

[member="Silas Miu"] well I was planning on breaking into some old facilities around the Yinchorr and Arkania region at some point in the near future.... Knowledge is power after all. Dunno if there'd be anything of interest to a Kaminoan slicer on Arkania perhaps what with their scientific and cloning methodology and all.

Ooh, sounds like it could be fun. What kind of facilities? My character has been meaning to get his hands on some new equipment. Information would be good too, it'd be nice to be able to carve out a niche in the information broker business. [member="Celiana"]

Indeed plus you can sell said information. I've been re-reading through the republic commando novels and I found that the Arkanians are quite good at cloning, energy shielding tech too which could be valuable. Their sciencey secrets will be ours mwhahahahhaha! seriously though you'll get as a the bonus your pick of copied information from either place. I'm interested in Yinchorr specifically as it was used by The Emperor as a training gounds for his Royal Guardsmen. I'm interested in any and all info about training methods, weaponry, specialty equipment and so forth. Their methods were Echani before they were Imperial but their may possibly be some unfriendly people there, and traps....Can't make things too easy now can I? Figured Arkania would be a nice stopping ground too so you could datamine and get me a copy of what you come up with. Arkania would be more of a corporate espionage thing. Taking info on their cloning and shielding tech so probably come kitted up we'd be inside their military and scientific industrial buildings.

This just keeps sounding better and better. Arkania, my character would be able to acquire their cloning research, methods, genetic testing records and possibly their patient records as well. As for the energy shielding tech research, he'll probably keep that for himself and try to come up with some custom equipment, and he's give a copy of those findings to you, naturally.

As for Yinchorr, my character will support yours in your efforts to infiltrate the training grounds. It would probably require a couple different threads. One for reconaissance and preparation, and the next for the mission. Unless you think it'll be alright to roll it all into one thread.

hahahaha oh man that monologue made my night. All joking aside though do you have a need for new associates with a somewhat askew moral compass that doesn't always point north? I'm looking to make criminal connections and from what I've seen on the threads you're kinda a mixed bag with an overall good heart. I have a ship I can smuggle/ bounty hunt. what say you?

well it's definitely a start. useful information for sure and as we all know knowledge is power. Btw do you have an exit plan that includes not getting my ship shot to bits? I just finished the paint job...though if said heist is to occur can I take that to mean you'd be helping?

I will never say no to more people in the fold of Justice Shipping. I can do a thread with you, if you have anything specific you want, but most of the company threads we have going right now (as in the one we have going to try and get to tier 5) wouldn't make too much sense for your to hop in unless you were game for something strange. VERY strange.

.....How strange we talking? In all fairness though I'd probably prefer to just do a thread with you to start out with. Making your acquaintance, having drinks to discuss possible business ventures, a drunk patron at the bar who's someone you possibly made enemies of on a previous occasion. You and I getting dragged into a bar fight...all in all a good way to start a partnership I think. What say you Mr. Justice?
