Character Overview
Akro is a Master of the Je'daii Order and head of their security program. He monitors all incoming and outgoing transmissions to major locations with his task force (outside of personal communications, of course) to ensure the safety of all within the Temples, and monitors activity around the various Temple grounds. Namely incoming traffic from non-Je'daii sources.
He is a master of the tri-harp and the melodium, and has been caught singing in private on more than one occasion though this is in truth a rarity which juxtaposes his otherwise gruff exterior.
After completing his Journey, Akro chose to settle within the Silent Stones of Bakura where these days he runs the Akar Kesh subpath as Temple Master. Here he focuses on teaching Balance and Moderation to the younger Je'daii who pass through on their own journey, as well as more covert skills.
On Anzat Akro held the rank of General and these days he puts that to good use assisting in the training of the Je'daii Temple Guard Corps. Any Je'daii who wishes to work within the Temple Security Branch must go through him.
Akro has strange markings upon his face, from his time within a mercenary group in his youth. He sees them as a reminder of how far he has come in life, and the path he now chooses to adhere to.
While Bakura hosts his Temple, he is actually more commonly found upon Aurum coordinating the Je'daii Security Team and Temple Guard Corps, trusting in [member='Sargon Vynea'] to watch over the Silent Stones and all who pass through them in the meantime.

Weaknesses: Pacifist | Craven | Arrogant | Despises Combat | Frugal | Cannot Pilot a Ship | Cannot Participate in Combat | Barely Able to Use the Force | Self-Conscious of his Low Force Sensitivity
Character Overview
Jal Som is a gifted engineer and mechanic who leads the Order's Engineering Division, developing new inventions and technologies for their usage.
He began his career as a Politician, and as such is very diplomatic in nature - though to many craven - and cannot abide violence in any way. He remains a genuine pacifist to this very day.
Jal was gifted a Dantari crystal by Master Aotirr who felt its effects would benefit the man who at the time was struggling to touch upon the Force. She said the idea came to her upon noticing how similar the crystal in her collection was to his eyes.
He travels in a XS Stock Light Freighter which has been modified to allow for a small crew to exist upon it, given that he himself is wholly incapable of piloting it.
Having only just reached the required ballpark of midichlorians to touch upon the Force, Jal actually struggles to call upon it. Despite this the Je'daii proved very encouraging, showing him that even with a limited connection to the Force he can make a difference in the Galaxy.
Jal is most commonly found within his Workshop on Crystalsong, though he will often make trips back to Aurum when the need arises.

Vero Shif

Weaknesses: Impatient | Only Uses the Force to Sense | Not the Strongest | Struggles With Ground Group Combat | Quick to Judge Others | Cannot Swim | Stubborn | Dubious
Character Overview
Vero Shif is the Head of the Je'daii Order's Starship Division; he assists General Sicmus in monitoring non-Je'daii ships and trains those who cannot pilot a vessel.
He is arguably the least experienced of all the Temple Masters, though what he lacks in Force knowledge he more than makes up for with his piloting skills and bravery.
Vero has the gift of Instinctive Astrogation, and aside from the psychometry of his people this is one of the only Force-based abilities he is capable of carrying out. It is also the only one he really has any interest in.
He assists Jal Som in Anil Kesh and together the pair of them run the Science branch of the Order - each picking up the pieces that the other is lacking - rather flawlessly. While he may only be a Ranger he has more than earned his place as Co-Temple Master.
More often than not Vero can be found within the main Flight Simulation Facilities, or the Halls of Astrogation on Crystalsong, and is fairly easy to approach. He will never turn away a Je'daii in need.

Weaknesses: Not Particularly Strong in Any One Department | Overambitious | Unpredictable | Indecisive | Hedonistic | Selfish at Times | Finds it Difficult to Commit | Impulsive
Character Overview
Compared to the other Je'daii Masters Eshezke is seen as a little bit strange. Where most are able to fully discipline themselves and their wants, this Mirialan seems to thrive on her more hedonistic tendencies.
Given that she watches over Bodhi, however, it is not too far fetched for her to be a little eccentric, and many of her students find her methods to be inspiring in a creative sense.
Eshezke is the Head of Arts in the Je'daii Order and will most often be found within her art studio. She is a most pleasant individual to be in the company of, chirpy and conversational, though there have been times when a more selfish streak has presented itself within her.
She adores learning of new customs and cultures, and though her journeys away from the main hub of Je'daii activity have become few and far between she enjoys getting out into the Galaxy and experiencing new things, especially when it comes to new art forms to delve head first into.
Eshezke is a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none; she is competent with aspects such as saber or Force, but is no specialist.

Weaknesses: Old | Frail | Poor Coordination | Partially Blind | Slow Reflexes | Uncontrollable Tremors | Mostly Pacifist | Blunt yet Sympathetic
Character Overview
Jeo Dundam is the Je'daii Archivist, charged with watching over the Silent Archive and the transference of knowledge.
He is a proud scholar and researcher, always ready to venture into the greater Galaxy in search of new information to unearth and study.
He spends most of his time within the Silent Archive, though it is not uncommon to find him in the Crystal Gardens meditating.
He is always happy to see eager young Je'daii who wish to learn, and will help them to find what they need.
Jeo has a very strong connection to the Living Force and enjoys spending time around nature to strengthen this connection; he is never quite so happy as when he is gardening.
His ship has been fitted to house a research station, and as such is capable of carrying a whole troupe of researchers.
He is now reaching his twilight years, and as such is not quite as competent as some of the other Je'daii. Though he remains a strong Force User regardless of this fact, his ability to join in with sparring or more serious battles has waned significantly and his poor coordination and strength make him more of a hindrance than a help during such.

Weaknesses: Not a Dedicated Lightsaber User | Rigorous | Not Combat Oriented | Smart Ass | Dark Sense of Humour | Hardened | Doesn't Quite Know When to Quit
Character Overview
Shor Vo is the Chief of Medicine, and defacto Chief of Healers, for the Je'daii Order.
She spends much of her time leading rescue missions across the Galaxy, rendering aid to those who need it regardless of their affiliation.
When she is on Aurum she is found almost exclusively within the Halls of Healing, unless a meeting has been called, though she does frequent Nedjiv more so than the Je'daii Epicenter.
Shor oversees the Haven-Class Rescue Ship Elysium - only one of its kind - which was a gift from the High Queen of Aurum to the Order's medical cause. While it retains its original Captain and crew, it is at her beck and call and is utilized as a medical hub for any who require assistance, not just the Je'daii.
She is a fully licensed Doctor and has spent a great many years studying the intricacies of healing through the Force.
Surprisingly enough she also likes to tinker with items in her free time, figuring out what makes them work, and is a somewhat competent mechanic.
She will often give open medical lessons and lectures to students from all walks of life, both on Aurum and Nedjiv - in fact often she will use holocomms to utilize both spaces and audiences.

Weaknesses: Martyr for the Children | Tender Hearted | Absent-Minded | Childish | Giddy | Impish to Older Je'daii | Overprotective | Theatrical and Overly Dramatic
Character Overview
Donaa Si is the Silent Academy's Governess; she is typically the first face a Youngling or Padawan sees, and will do everything within her power to help them settle in to the Order.
She is viewed as a parental figure to many of the Order's youngest Je'daii, and happily fits into this role.
Many of the things she has learned over the years have been made to work within this position. She knows Tapas to keep the children warm on adventures, she has learned to heal their wounds, and her lightsaber form reflects her urge to protect them.
She utilizes a shoto propelled by telekinesis as a ranged weapon, should the need for distant combat arise, and hopes it will take any attacker off guard.
Donaa can most commonly be found wandering within the Sunken Courtyard of the Silent Academy, where anyone may approach her with any questions they might have. Unlike the other Temple Masters, Donaa is rarely seen on Aurum and will most commonly choose to attend meetings via holocall so as not to leave the children without her dutiful watch.
While she is not the strongest Je'daii she is highly respected by almost all of the Je'daii and her opinion is highly sought after especially where the younger Je'daii are concerned.

Character Overview
Aotirr is the Head of Mystics within the Je'daii Order, and an unbelievably strong Force User whose power is not even close to being matched within their ranks.
While she was once a great warrior, who mixed the unpredictable energies of the Force with the erratic form of Ataru to swiftly overwhelm her foes, Aotirr recently fell sick and her state has quickly diminished. Her body fails her, her mind is becoming hazy, and the grasp of the void is closing in around her.
Despite this she remains steadfast in her duties, still teaching lessons to the younger Je'daii and doing her part around Aurum. Although she is the Temple Master of Qigong Kesh, Aotirr has never once stepped foot upon Svivren and entrusts the Silent Enclave's daily running to [member='Asha Hex'], not wishing to meet her end away from the world she has come to know as her home.
She has come to terms with her own mortality and is at peace with the knowledge that she is going to die soon. All she wishes in the meantime is to leave a legacy for the Je'daii to follow.

He is a Weaponsmaster in the truest sense of the word, constantly striving to pick up new weapons and give them a shot on the battlefield.
He was a clone created on Eshan as part of a secret Sith program, and as such was raised under the Sith philosophy. While he has come a long way since those dark times, each day remains a struggle for him to remain at balance within himself and the Force.
Toru relishes the fight. There is nothing greater to him than getting to know an individual through the intricacies of combat; but if he is fighting a foe, not sparring with a friend, he can at times find it difficult to stop himself should the need arise.

She is mostly limited to Force Imbuement and Alchemy - specifically Metallurgy - where the Force is concerned, but has a greater understanding of it than most of her kind.
She is often found mumbling about some Gods, which belong to her people. She believes them to be manifestations of the Force itself, and thus is able to remain reverent toward them while also studying the Je'daii way in its entirety.
Thorve will most commonly be found slaving over a Forge, and will happily teach any Je'daii who wishes to learn the art so long as they are willing to assist her in one of her own projects for a while.
While many may see her as bold, crass, and loud, once you have made a friend of Thorve you will have her unyielding friendship and protection for life.
She enjoys nothing more than getting out and exploring the worlds the Je'daii call home, and the strange sights they provide, though she does dearly miss the snows of her homeland, and its people.

[*]Gender: Male
[*]Build: Athletic, Toned
  • Height: 6'0
  • Eye Colour: Sapphire
  • Hair Colour: Black
  • Complexion: Caucasian
  • Distinguishing Features: Crescent Scar Under Right Eye
  • Playby: Starkiller

[*]Force Sensitive?: Very Much So
  • Force Rank: Neutral Knight; Je'daii Ranger

Strengths And Weaknesses
  • Strengths:
Ace Pilot/Improbable Piloting Skills; Above all else, Zech's talents shine through in the cockpit. While his elevated position of Captain has left him with less of a hands on approach in recent years, whenever he is back in the saddle of smaller ships his natural affinity toward piloting shines through, guided by Force and feeling, as opposed to sight alone
  • Machine Empathy; Zech is able to sense when something is up with his ship and equipment. While this, for the most part, only comes into play with things he had been utilizing for a long time, and as such has gotten a feel for, it has aided him a lot when running diagnostics, and has saved ship and crew from disaster before it could arise on numerous occasions
  • Techno Wizard; Zech has always had a more hands on approach to his work, and during his time among the Adherents of Anil Kesh he worked to find ways that would have the Force compliment his more mechanical surroundings. His abilities in the Force are strongest when influencing technology
  • Blind Weaponmaster; While he is by no means the greatest combatant to have ever lived, Zech will often catch his opponents off guard by his obvious blindness yet apparent ability to keep up in the heat of battle, often giving him a momentary upper-hand that is quickly negated

[*]Weaknesses:
  • Blind; Zech was born completely blind. His sapphire eyes have a misty appearance to them, and the physical realm is not something he's ever experienced. While the Force proves enough to guide him, areas containing Force dead or cloaked individuals will leave him wholly blind, making planets such as Myrkr completely off the table
  • Bacta Allergy; While most of the Galaxy's population is able to utilize the catch-all wonder product that is Bacta, Zech is deathly allergic. If applied to his outer skin, to cover an abrasion of sorts, he will come out in an unbearable rash, and if ingested or used on larger lacerations it can have poisonous consequences if not caught and treated quickly enough
  • Trypanophobia; Zech will not, under any circumstances, allow a needle of any form to come near him. While it may seem like little more than an irrational fear, when paired with his Bacta allergies it can sometimes make healing him a pain in the backside, forcing slower or less practical methods to be used instead
  • Alone Among Many; Though Zech belongs to a rather large crew, and as such is often surrounded by people, he has remained mostly to himself. This is a pattern that has been established throughout his life, he was raised away from his parents, focused on his Journey toward becoming a Je'daii at the hand of Master Sicmus, and now that he has reached that goal he finds it difficult to interact with people outside of duty

Family And Relationships

Pre-Roleplay History
While still an infant child on Bakura, war was brought to the otherwise placid and peaceful world. Men and women were drafted to fight against the onslaught, and the children who were left behind were bundled together and sent offworld with the intent of being returned once the worst of it was over.

Some, however, never made it back home.

Zech was one such child. The ship which had been transporting them back to Bakura, to their eagerly waiting families, suffered severe malfunctions, plummeting toward the nearest star system. It crashed into the Endless Swamps of Zakuul, where an Anzat Je'daii and his student had been studying the strange anomalies in the Force found there.

Most of the children died on impact, and those who didn't suffered grievous wounds that led to a similar fate. Much to the Je'daii's surprise, however, three survived the ordeal: Lese, Remy, and Zech.

While he was not equipped to take care of three estranged children, and given that the ship burned out leaving no trace of where they had been headed, the Anzat made a conscious decision bring the trio to then-Republic space, in the hopes that they could flourish in the Core. During their healing process, however, he had discovered that one among them had a high midi-chlorian count.

Seeing this as a sign from the Force, he decided to keep and raise that child, with the intent of training him toward becoming a Je'daii in his own right.

Zech took to the Je'daii's teachings remarkably well; the lessons were adapted to accommodate his blindness, and given how young he had been to begin with there had been little in the way of bad habits to break. When the Anzat's own student finished his Journey, he focused entirely on molding Zech into the epitome of Je'daii ideals.

His affinity toward technology was noticed early on, and the Anzat did all he could to let this side of Zech flourish. He brought in Je'daii contacts from across the Galaxy to hone his abilities, and put the boy through flight school once he was old enough.

The Great Journey came soon after, and with his newly acquired ship Zech stepped away from his Master's teachings and traveled across the stars, seeking out the splintered Je'daii and learning from any he encountered. Though unorthodox, he managed to complete his trials this way and settled into his newfound role as a Je'daii Ranger.

His affinity toward technology made him a perfect match for Anil Kesh, however the few Adherents of Stav Kesh who roamed the Galaxy took him in and began to hone his fighting style, making use of his blindness and making it an advantage as opposed to an obstacle. While there was nothing wrong with aspiring toward two Tho Yor, it surprised his Master all the same when he opted to split his focus between the two.

When the Je'daii eventually came together on Teth for the Great Gathering, Zech accompanied his former Master and was surprised to see how many faces showed up. Some he had met along his own journey, others were entirely foreign to him. He watched as his Master ascended to the Council, claiming the spot as Temple Master of Akar Kesh, and when the time came to decide whether to join this new found Order, or remain a wanderer, he opted to settle in to the Temple.

He was given command of the Je'daii's main exploratory vessel during this time, a beauty known as the Lunar Moth, and when the Order uprooted to Aurum he instead took the opportunity to lead an expedition to explore the darker regions of space surrounding the nearby systems.

Though he gains frequent reports from the Je'daii's new home, he has still yet to visit, happy in his newfound station.
