Les exited the elevator and entered the Hangar where several LAAW/i's awaited, powered down. A pilot was prepping one of them. He turned to Dak and said "Of course it's going to feel off. Those distress beacons are almost a millennium old. But the jobs got'ta be done. We'll be safe." He walked over to a wall bracket and removed a long DC-15A Blaster Rifle. He glanced over to [member="Leea Pandac"], his robotic voice speaking "Lookin' spick and span. Name and rank?"

Leea jumped at the sound of Les' voice. A second later she figured out what he had said and replied, "Leea Pandac, uh, volunteer. Regular soldier I think. Sir?" Her voice ended in a question as she wondered how to speak to a commanding officer.

"That would be Private, Pandac" Dak chimed in, leaning in from behind Les. "You ever see combat, Private?"

[member="Leea Pandac"] [member="Les Hender"]

"Um, I've been in a couple rough-ups in some catinas. But nothing like a full scale blaster fight." Leea said, feeling a little self-consious about this whole affair. Her outward appearance was of infinite calm, but she couldn't tell.

"Don't worry too much about it. You stay in cover, keep your head down, and follow orders. You do all that, you'll walk away no problem." He said with a nod, before lifting his personal T-21 Light Repeater; a heavy blaster intended for support gunner roles. "I'm Sgt. Va'shaden by the way."

Dak turned to Les.

"Well, considering it's an old craft, with an old distress beacon, I'd say we should go with a small team. No need to go in force. Who do you think we should bring?"

[member="Leea Pandac"] [member="Les Hender"]

Leea smiled a little before taking a few steps back, then turning away. She moved to rest up against a wall, but decided better of it and pulled out her blaster pistol, carefully as always. She held it in her left hand, slowly transferred it to her right and, making sure not to have her finger on the trigger, aimed at the wall she had been about to rest on. She blinked each eye, seeing what would be her best way of aiming before slowly putting it back in its holster. As it slipped in place, she felt her finger slide against the trigger and she tensed for a moment, then realizing the safety was on she let out a small sigh. She could never overstate how much she hated blasters.

In orbit of Acyk
Sabrina just came out hyperspace, over the planet Acyk, the home of the red legion. She been here before, but then she was undercover, working as a legionary. Then she was trying to help, liberate serenno from the grasp, by getting close to mandalmotor`s, and sabotaging it. How ever serenno, will have to wait know, as the galaxy`s politics turned and new leaf.

The mandalorians, where now potential allies, as they where gearing up for war. A war with the republic, and the one sith sworn enemy the jedi. While sabrina did not hate the jedi, she felt sorry for them for, enslaving them selves to force, rather using it to set them free. Though she new, they hated her, though the arrogant jedi would never admit it.

As her ship came out of hyperspace, she was intercepted by mandalorain ship, it was her home for a while. The ship hailed her, To unidentified shuttle, please explain, your present`s here! Sabrina thought to her self, Crunch time, as they could just blow her out of space, the second they she is sith. She new it was a gamble, but she had take it, so she opened a com channel to them, and answered I am sabrina kotass, an emissary of a sith order, and I like to see, if I can come to an accord, with your leader`s. In your possible war with the republic, and I come to under a flag truce. She wonder, if she was just going to be shot space know, or if she ever get planet side.

Transit to Hangar C & Hangar C

Kiyron gave a curt nod as the door finally slid open. Change of orders. Excellent. Simulations on ships were never quite like field simulations. No smell for one thing, which had thrown him off a target more than once. What was it with militaries and their reliance on only a partial set of their senses? No matter now. He pushed through the beings in the corridors. "Move it!" They shifted out of his way as he entered a turbolift and slammed the button for hangar C. He unclipped his rifle and its box, sifting through attachments. Ship boarding. Shorter barrel, lower-powered charges. Nothing would be very long distance. He considered the Gungnir armor. Might as well go for the full set. He started pulling it on in the lift, getting all but the helmet on by the time it reached the proper floor.
He kept walking, slinging his rifle over his shoulder and re-checking the holster for his pistol. It was time for some action. He strode into the hangar, helmet under one arm, and gave the assorted members with a salute. "First Lieutenant Kiyron, temporarily assigned to Foxtrot until my unit is reorganized, reporting as ordered. Can I get a debrief on the situation?" He gave a quick smile to the assembled party.

RED LEGION BARRACKS
Mess Hall

Preliat lowered the smooth stone from his Beskad. He kept the blade razor sharp, and well polished. The weapon was heavy, almost like a warhammer. He turned and turned it, before standing upwards, and placing it on the sheath that lay vertically on his back, adjacent to his jetpack. He picked up his Gladiator assault rifle, and moved to the Mess Hall. As strong and as reliable as he'd become, he still needed to eat. He received a very warm meal, something meaty with lots of sauce to cover up the bland taste of the actual meat itself. Rice and a number of vegetables lined his plate. As [member="Aditya Amadis"] knew, Preliat was very picky about his eating habits. His rifle lay on the table. Preliat was almost paranoid about constantly being armed, as if there was something constantly threatening, no matter what. He also felt at edge in the Red Legion, the recent incident with the Sith attempting to join made him detest the Legion slightly. Eyes glanced around, before they met the meal, picking at the food gingerly.

Leea didn't smile back, she looked [member="Kiyron "]up and down for a moment. As she moved closer she replied, "I have no idea what is going on, but I get the feeling some fighting may be involved." Then dropping her voice to little less than a whisper she said, "They said something about millennia old distress beacons. Do you think that is possible?"

Well, it sure did seemed the droid had some time before anybody would arrive. In fact, plenty of time. So he had time to prepare some tricks.

HK would move quickly throughout parts of the ship, stopping here and there, making quick repairs or hiding something, preparing a tripwire or attaching an old datapad or transmitter into a ventilation shaft, hiding it out of sight. The quirky machine was capable of ingenuity, unlike many of his brethren, and he would use it to the fullest today.

Chance has given him a little playground to make his own, at least for a while, and he planned on having fun with it.

Wherever RC was on the ship, he could feel the gravity stabilizing as the droid returned ship's systems to optimal condition, taking away power from its weapons and engine systems, not like they needed it out here, and small whirr would signal the life-support was still functional, or has been brought to function. If the droid was going to have Republic or potentially Mandalorians brought onto the ship, last thing he needed was for it to break apart in the middle of it.
Some repairs had to be done.

"It's certainly possible, isn't it? otherwise we wouldn't be getting ready to investigate one." Dak said, grinning under his helmet. "As far as fighting, I doubt it. The thing about millennial old ships, most people on them left or died already. Sending in an armed squad is just standard procedure."

Dak turned to Kiyron.

"As far as a briefing, sir. There's not much to tell. We're going over to see what the fuss is about. It's a high priority Distress beacon, but it's damn near ancient. My guess, We'll find nothing, and they'll want us to secure the ship's nav-data and captain's logs."

The Clone was feeling a bit better now that he had food in his stomach. He remembered eating something similar before but this tasted at least five times better. He sat there satisfied for a moment but he couldn't shake the feeling that he should be doing something right now. He felt like he was missing something, something that was a part of him. He knew that it was here in this room. His vision hasn't improved much, only capable of seeing that this spot was slightly brighter than that spot, but the stiffness in his muscles was gone. He had to find it.

The Clone lowered himself on the ground and began crawling on the dusty floor, one hand outstretched patting the ground in front of him just like he was taught. He had to find it.

Kiyron nodded in response to [member="Leea Pandac"]'s question, both answering and confirming [member="Dak Va'shaden"]'s answer, and rechecked his rifle. "That is correct. Go ready for anything because anything could happen." He frowned thoughtfully. "Are the sensors picking up any signs of life?"

Les Hender led them over to a specialised LAAW/i, vacuum sealed for exoatmospheric boarding. He gently caressed his blaster, speaking over his shoulder in his bionic voice. "No scan reports as of yet. Treat this mission with caution - for safety purposes. We'll collect the data on the bridge, and await for further orders from there." He stepped up into the bowels of the transport, reaching his hand above his head to take a hold of the hand rail. "I'm not waiting for Winter, get moving soldiers"

Leea followed Les' movements, grabbing hold of the handrails. Her other hand patted her knife, and made a quick check for her blaster, which was where she had put it. She stayed quite at this point, wanting to hear what others had to say rather than letting her giddy emotions speak for themselves.

On the Ship's Bridge

HK was fiddling with the communication systems of the ship, he has just finished changing their protocols and programming systems, now he had the access plate pried open, thanks to his handy wrist-blade, and he was laying on the floor, re-wiring the systems.
"Cannot make this too easy for them, where would be the fun in that?"
The machine muttered to himself, fiddling about with wires, separating some and crossing the others.

Finally finishing with his task, he replaced the access plate on the back of the console, standing up he returned to the interface of the terminal as he engaged its systems once more.
[member="Les Hender"], [member="Kiyron"], [member="Dak Va'shaden"], [member="Leea Pandac"]
The communications of the ship, besides the distress beacon, has been cut by the droid, but instead, they started to jam sensors and communications, something the Republic troops would be able to notice by now, the jamming applied only once aboard on the ship and it was something that could be disabled by terminating the ship's communication arrays, its reactor, or hacking and re-wiring the terminal once more.

Meanwhile, HK came back to the ventilation entry point, slithering back inside he has prepared everything for the arrival of parties. It would not be too long now.

Kiyron nodded, and followed to the ship. "I treat all missions with caution. It's my job." He stepped into the ship and chose a seat near the exit, buckling himself securely in, face going slightly pale. Space flight again. Always space flight. Nothing solid. Just the void all around. It was not a feeling he liked. Solid ground was good. Solid ground was survivable. Space wasn't.

Dak winced as a short peircing static emitted from his helmets speakers, and his sensors on his HUD displayed nothing, not even his squad.

"Anyone else having Tech problems?" He asked, tapping away at the small keyboard in his left gauntlet, shutting off his helmet's Direct link to command, and cutting the audio, relieving him of the deafening noise. "HUD just went nuts, Sensors and Radio are down."

Kiyron shook his head and tapped the helmet that he was holding under his arm. "I'll check, though I don't put much stock in tech." He slipped the helmet partially over his head, and then yanked it off, face contorted in pain. "Blasted tech. 'Bout blew my eardrums out again." He lifted it up and examined the helmet with a scowl until he switched it off, when his face relaxed into annoyance. "I'll file a report with maintenance when we get back. Better switch channels until then."
