CORPORATION INFORMATION
DESCRIPTION
Maelstorm Mines is a service-based organization in the Raykkan sense of the word.

They offer a service you did not think you need, for a price you did not think you possessed, and at the speed you'd blush over. In the end you aren't left wanting, but you might wonder where all your money and goods went. Best to read the small print.

The main location is vested on Mustafar, where it maintains a business headquarters in Fralideja, Mustafar's capital. Furthermore, Mustafar is also the main mining location within Installation 402, a recently re-opened mining structure that delves deep into the crust of Mustafar and brings out valuable ores. There are also two satellite sites on Eriadu and Terminus, which are maintained for storage usage.

Eriadu is the first foray into the wider galactic market for their ore and refinery products.

Terminus is a more covert and specialized storage hub. The less asked about it the better.

RATIONALE
Maelstorm Mines first began operations before the Netherworld crisis.

With the reasonable success of KalCo Cattle in the wider Galaxy the Raykkans' hunger for further galactic exploitation was set. Sadly, they miscalculated just how capital-intensive the industry was and their timing was rather unlucky. A large share of the Galaxy simply vanished over night. As a consequence there was little appetite for minerals and metals being dug up from beneath the earth. The Raykkans were never known for their understanding. Maelstorm Mines' greedy crop of locations throughout the galaxy were shut-down and the company itself was shuttered.

It maintained a little presence on Mustafar itself, but mostly because the Raykkans were incapable of selling off the location for a reasonable sum.

This kept on for several years. A bleeding red number that kept ticking up on their papers. Until Kalak the Raykkan smelled opportunity. He offered the shareholders of the Cartel to invest in the firm himself. He'd buy up the location, expand its reach and ensure the business would be a success.

In return Kalak simply wished operational and strategic control without Raykka interference.

They sold it all off to him within the day.
