Maanis is a man of extreme determination, if he sets his sights on a target he will go for it until he has no other means of reaching it.

Growing up Maanis learnt the hard way and as such has learnt to take a beating or two, several times he has been beaten to a point near death and lived to tell the tale.

Maanis goes out of his way to add to his skill set, a trait that allows him to pick up skills rather quickly.

BIOGRAPHY:
Nothing is known of Maanis’ early life, the most anyone knows about him is how one day he simple walked into small settlement of Mos Shuuta on Tatooine with no more than a small pack and the remains of a very long and sand infested journey.
With no credits to his name he took up the only job that aided with giving him rich reward, doing the dirty work for the local Hutt; Teemo.
Naturally the great slug wanted nothing to do with this wanderer from the streets, but Maanis was allowed access to the bounty boards of the Hutt which gave him the means to head out and prove himself within the ranks of Teemo’s small yet ambitious empire.
For the next year or so Maanis, along with his new found ally in the form of ‘Old Man’ Hurk collected on bounties set up by the Hutt who he called boss and while reputation increased among the circles around Teemo’s palace, the credits were not in huge supply.
Hurk, an ex-gladiator living a quiet retirement schemed up a plot to claim a bounty from Teemo while also trading the claim towards a higher paying job out Kessel.
Maanis took the job and successfully claimed the bounty from Teemo, however he was betrayed by Hurk at the last moment who traded the bounty for a small fortune behind Maanis’ back and attempted to have the rookie bounty hunter killed.
Maanis took his vengeance in the only way he knew how, with a blaster.
Teemo paid enough for Hurk’s death to get Maanis transport off world and into the greater galaxy.
