STRENGTHS
- Power: Very similar to traditional crushgaunts, the gloves greatly enhance the wearer’s strength in their hands as well as their lethality in unarmed combat.
- Surprises: With repulsors and whistling birds embedded into the knuckle plates, the user has two useful and powerful tools at their disposal in a second’s notice.
- Electrical: The power cells of the gloves can send an electrical pulse through the gloves, capable of stunning or even killing, depending on the settings. It can also fire arcs of electricity at short ranges.
- Secure: The durable materials of the gloves can protect the user from various dangers.
- Recoil: The repulsors and whistling birds give very little recoil when used.
WEAKNESSES
- EMP: If the user is hit with a powerful enough EMP or ion charge, it could temporarily disable the gloves’ advanced functions entirely
- Ammo: The gloves are limited by their power cells, and the whistling birds are only single use.
- Range: The strength attacks are limited to touch, while the whistling birds, electrical arcs, and repulsors, however, are limited to point blank range due to their implementation.
- Dangerous: If not careful, the user can seriously injure themselves with their own gloves.
DESCRIPTION
Shai Krayt’s last project before her disappearance. The gloves were part of a design to try and create a versatile type of glove that could enhance the wearer’s power and effectiveness in any situation.
An absurdly small amount of complete pairs were eventually produced for testing, proving to be highly effective but also very expensive. After the Enclave’s battle for Roon against the Maw, the Wardog disappeared in the conflict. But a complete pair of gloves managed to find themselves to a few select people, her last gift to those she cared for most in her clan. This specific pair originally found its way to
Gwyneira Vizsla
for testing, but quickly turned into an heirloom from her Alor.
