- Hefty: The M-45's durasteel construction also makes the "heavy" in "heavy blaster pistol" feel appropriate. It has a weight to match its punch.
- Recoil: The blaster pistol also has high recoil, in spite of its heavy weight, thanks to the power it outputs.
The M-45 heavy blaster pistol was designed by Shadowhand Skunkworks, taking much of its design inspiration from the legendary DL-44. As such, it hits most of the same marks as the famous sidearm. It's a heavy blaster pistol in both senses of the word, and its standard scope allows it greater range than the average pistol. The M-45's durasteel construction ensures that the weapon can keep going, and going, and going, without needing to be maintained. You'll most likely fail before the M-45 does. The blaster pistol is even sturdy enough to be used as a bludgeon if the situation calls for it. Other than that, it's more or less your average heavy blaster pistol in a more sleek package.
