Description_1.png

Lunaris, a highly sought-after and adaptable material, holds great significance in the lives of the Lupo species on the planet Islimore. With its spiritual symbolism and unique physical properties, this unparalleled metal has influenced and enriched Lupo culture for countless generations.

Exclusively found on Islimore, Lunaris boasts a stunning silver-bronze hue and is known for its exceptional durability. This natural metal can be adapted for various uses through an intricate crafting process that's been perfected over centuries by skilled Lupo blacksmiths. When alloyed with carbons and other elements, Lunaris can be transformed into a lighter armor with remarkable flexibility, making it perfect for the Lupo by shifting alongside them as they split their skin to take the form of their wolf.

When fashioned into weapons rather than armor, blacksmiths typically keep Lunaris in its pure form—dense, heavy, and genuine. As a result, Lupo warriors must undergo rigorous training from childhood to acclimate to the weight of these formidable instruments of battle. These weapons and armors created from Lunaris, possess an inherent resistance against energy attacks such as blasters or lightsabers; though the metal's resilience will gradually wear down over time and weaken under continuous onslaught. Without proper care and repairs, this can reduce its protective capabilities. Intensely high temperatures can also pose lethal threat to those wearing Lunaris armor, effectively cooking the wearer trapped within.

Beyond its utilitarian uses, the Lupo species widely believes that each armor or weapon that is crafted from this material houses its own spirit, granting each item crafted from the metal its own distinctive characteristic. In addition to this belief, it is not uncommon for warriors to dedicate their Lunaris crafted gear to their chosen God or Goddess in hopes of receiving their divine support during combat.
