- Armament: The Lumen carries both a pair of very powerful mass driver weapons and a large number of concussion missiles, providing a large amount of forward facing firepower.

The Lumen Class Assault Corvette is a ship built for forward alpha strike firepower, using its flechette launchers to disable the shielding of an enemy vessel before delivering a volley of capital grade missiles capable of gutting much larger ships. To keep targets in front of the Lumen, it has exceptional mobility and can quickly turn to present the best possible defenses and firepower towards enemy vessels. When deployed in wolf pack formations the Lumen can quickly dodge in and out of enemy firing arcs to divide their attention before delivering their assault concussion missiles into vulnerable systems or weak points in armor.
