If I'm correct, and that doesn't happen very often, all display of official, canon, and "real" characters from the Star Wars Universe is forbidden.

- your allowed to rp lukes ghost as a non player character (NPC) but not an actual character(a PC). Its been done with alot of canon characters, mostly sith spirits to my knowledge. You wont need to sub him through codex either cuz he is canon. So go nuts and dont let someone tell you that you cant.Arelmar Garmer

To the best of my knowledge

's interpretation is indeed correct. You can have Canon characters as NPC's (if it makes sense as Force ghosts or Holocron gatekeepters do). That being said, you cannot play a PC (player character) that is Canon.
