Description

The Low Altitude Assault Transport/Ambigene, affectionately referred to as "Latty" by the Confederacy's military personnel, is an exceptional vehicle poised to become the faction's middle-ground dropship. Named in honor of a notable general who served within the original incarnation of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the LAAT/A was designed by Rothana Heavy Engineering in order to be a vehicle of both troop transportation and vehicle transportation. To this end, durability became one of the most emphasized features of the vessel and culminated in the form of its hull; which mirrors the CIS' naval vehicles in the sense that it is composed of a durable alloy formed from the combination of durasteel and turadium. As a whole, the LAAT/A boasts a carrying capacity that is a great supplement to any ground operation, in addition to a light armament that would allow it to defend itself against enemy opposition.
