Glancing down at the astromech, Alessandra registered a hint of uncertainty expressed in the subtle movements of his chassis. No doubt, a place such as this, where so many droids of his class were equipped with weapons would seem quite intimidating at first. Jedi certainly didn’t allow their astromechs to carry weapons after all, so in that regard, the Chaplain was not surprised at Bee’s reaction.

Fortunately, the little astromech quickly piped up with a series of inquisitive bweeps, chirps, clicks, through which he asked about systems and technologies focused on healing.

“Oh! So, you want to be an astromedic, Bee? That’s wonderful!” Alessandra exclaimed, her features wide with interest. “Here, follow me! We have just the thing! I think you’ll love it.” With that, the Chaplain gestured for the astromech to follow her, at which point she led Bee past the weapons section of the store. Before long, the pair arrived at the utility section and soon, Alessandra turned into an aisle full of installable medical tools and systems, ranging from bacta injectors to medisensors.

However, Alessandra led Bee past all of them.

It was only when the gynoid reached the very end of the aisle did she stop, before gesturing towards a large box with the label FAE/MT-01 DROID MEDICAL-SURGICAL SUITE - ASTROMEDIC VARIANT. Next to the label was a picture of a red and black-colored astrosurgeon performing surgery in an operating theater. Then, below it was a picture of a pink astromedic administering a vaccine to a young Nautolan child accompanied by his smiling mother.

“This is it.” Alessandra said. “The FAE/MT-01 Droid Medical-Surgical Suite.” She stated. On cue, the Chaplain sent Bee a request to exchange information via data link. Should Bee accept, the Chaplain would send him the full schematics of the suite, complete with technical information, specifications, the user manual and yet more.

“This actually just came in two days ago.” Alessandra continued. “It has everything a medical droid might need, including injectors, diagnostic sensors, medical databases, surgical instruments, and more.” The Chaplain gushed. “And it all fits right inside your chassis.” She finished.
