K A M A R

A planet of mountains, and deserts. While it was not as inhospitable as Weken, or Koriban, or Tash-Taral, or any other kind of really bad desert planet, It was one of great importance to that of the Warlords of the Sith. Many would look away from the planet. A place in which one wouldn't think to look. A place that seemed pointless and without merit. Yet, the Dark Sovereign of Strength knew better. Each and every planet had a reason to be there. They all had something of value. The only difference is what it was. Metals, ores, textiles, open space, or even Peoples.

Kamar was a planet of hidden wealth. A lost planet in which one could find many treasures. It was these treasures that Vora wanted to exploit. Much like any other Sith. Upon having a host of information thanks to his apprentice, Tash Kaar, Vora set out to the planet. Having with him in tow, individuals who would aid him in doing so. Specifically these individuals were personally invited as members of the Warlords, High Lords, and individuals that the Man in black could count upon to get the job done. No matter what ties they had to other Lords, they worked for him at the moment. As of recent, the Feudal City-states, or tk'skquas, of the Kamarians were facing a thread they were not prepared for.

A massive worm, one that was only called "Tk'sunwietek" or "City-Worm" was feared and respected. Akin to a god like being. Attacking their Cities, destroying homes, Killing any form of life that these insect-like beings had. It was as if this creature had a personal vendetta against them. The Dark Sovereign saw a chance for many to become fat from strength. this opportunity to become much more than just a Dust-bowl that was under the control of the Warlords. Having kept Tash Kaar among their people for some time now, Promising that her Master, a "God" among his own kind of the Sith, would be coming. Aiming to liberate them of any problems they had. One that would prove to them, that the Sith, after the Gulage Plague, had grown to levels unprecedented.

With only a handfull of shuttles being sent down from the Bastard's Blade. These Shuttles carried personnel that were required to hunt down this "Tk'sunquas" and would bring it down. That is, if that was the purpose of the SIth here today. No. Vora would give free choice to those working with him today. Allowing them to make the choice on what would become of this creature and others among the surface of Kamar. A price he was willing to pay to gain a foothold upon the planet. Vora would allow any Sith who wished, the right to the creatures upon the planet. Even maybe, just maybe, creating their own ecosystem.

Upon landing just outside of the City-State, Vora gathered all the Sith that would be with him today. Anchoring himself to face them, the dust already turning his black cloak to a mix of browns and black.

"Welcome to Kamar. A planet where the Feudal-Insect Species of Kamarians are just now being exposed to the galaxy in a wider view. We need them on our side. So, for now, play nice. Do what you need to do while you are here, but do so without ruining our reputation with them. We need their trust before they can become... citizens."

Holding that last word for a moment, the man in black turned around and without another word, walked towards the opened gates of the CIty. Allowing the Sith, and Vora's personal Battle Chapter of the "Last Crusade," to follow in his wake.

Location: the deserts of Kamar

Khamul would be lying if he said that he hadn't had an eye on this planet for some time. Kamar had a lot to offer under the right circumstances, despite all of the barren land. Desert worlds tend to be beneficial to those trying to operate away of the prying eyes of civilized society. They also tend to have resources worthy of taking. Khamul had been looking for a place to plant his feet, and Kamar was shaping up to be the perfect location.

He had heard a bit about the Kamarians before coming to the planet. They seemed to only recently be developing into a more modern society. Not complete savages, but not too advanced either. Just the ripe enough to be manipulated into servitude. He wasn't exactly a politician, but Khamul was great at killing. Luckily, the latter is what was needed on this day. There had been talk of a deified creature here; the "City-Worm". Khamul was excited by the prospect. After all, it's not every day that you get to kill a god.

He took note of those who else had answered the call of Vora Kaar Vora Kaar . He was looking for potential allies, and this may be an opportune time for such endeavors. The Warlords might have a common purpose, but there was no delusions about everyone's intentions. After all, they were Sith, and Sith do love climbing the ladder.

As Vora spoke, Khamul couldn't help but to feel just the slightest bit disappointed. Not in the man himself, but rather the restraint he was asking of them. Restraint was never Khamul's strongest suit. That being said, he could hold his rage back long enough to get the job done. Besides, there would be plenty of time to release his fury on the giant monster of a god.

He offered no reply to Vora's words. He simply nodded in acknowledgment and awaited their next move. His finger seemed to itch for his lightsaber, but he made no move for it.

There was plenty of time for violence. Plenty of time to unleash his fury upon this world and carve out some semblance of a kingdom for himself. It wouldn't be much, but it would certainly be a start.

Kamar. Finally.

This day had been coming for long enough. He had implored his master to move forward with the plans to infiltrate the temple on Kamar months ago, but to no avail. The decrepit Sith Lord preferred to wait in hiding, suffering his psychosis and paranoia like he always did.

When Kuric had heard tell of an expeditionary force led by none other than Lord Kaar himself, he had left Vinaze to join it. He wanted to prove himself to his master, regardless of how his master felt about it. It was time he stopped hiding in the shadows.

So without as much as a look to Vinaze he had boarded the Bastard's Blade with a squad of his finest knights. There was something inside that temple that his master wanted, something valuable enough that the ancient architects had left a beast of gargantuan proportions to guard it. And now those foolish insects called Kamarians had disturbed the monster.

Kuric and his Knights, called the Mother's Mercy, stood among the rest of the amassed Sith, mostly members of Kaar's own retinue or vassalage, but there were others of course.

When the doors opened, Kuric didn't hesitate. With a brisk pace they made their way into the village. The eyes of the natives wandered, looking upon these strange people from the stars who would come to cure them of their plight. How naive, Kuric thought. They did not understand the universal truth as he did. There were slaves, and there were masters. Which one would the Kamarians be when the worm was slain? It was almost comedy to think they could resist the will of the Sith...

The Devil | Kavar Lok Kas'Oni

Kamar. Kascalion would have enjoyed visiting this planet of badlands and occultism on his own accord had he not been so preoccupied with the ceremonies and finalized construction of Ing Sedisĥ. He would have loved to have single-handedly hunt down the God-Beast these Kamarians, in their primitive ways, worshiped. But not. No, now he was to visit its plains of sand and sunken things in the cadre of Vora Kaar, who had adopted the role of overall leadership for this day. His mission, his authority. Nothing made this more "clear" than the man's words when the Warlords touched down on the world and joined a gathering.

"Welcome to Kamar. A planet where the Feudal-Insect Species of Kamarians are just now being exposed to the galaxy in a wider view. We need them on our side. So, for now, play nice. Do what you need to do while you are here, but do so without ruining our reputation with them. We need their trust before they can become... citizens."

Words of confidence and leadership - although a type of freedom was granted to the cadre overall - poorly placed in himself. Poorly, when considering that the Devil - armored in yet another advanced design on some monstrosity he had yet to complete - was not but ten feet away, arms crossed. His glare of frozen flames was hidden behind the red visor of the helm, although the vents in front of his skeletal grin exhaled blue ember-flakes as he breathed with restrained temper. A subtly building furor that Kascalion had been gracious enough to subdue for today, for he had no desire to bump chests over who ruled who. At least, not yet. That would come later and, naturally, Kascalion would emerge victorious in the event as he had with all things as of late. So, he allowed this day to be Vora's and would even let the man have the planet without contest. Weken was his now.

A gift for an ally, he told himself during the shuttle ride down to the sands.

However, despite Vora's overall control of the mission on Kamar, there was enough freedom - as mentioned. In his command was a respectable group of Knights and a platoon of his personal Battle Chapter - Hollow Despoilers, 3rd Platoon - both trained personally by him at the fortress of Ing Sedisĥ. They had become admirable in their skills but lacked true field experience beyond the subjugation of worlds and convoys that could barely put up a fight. This clash against...how did Karr put it...the Tk'sunwietek would prove useful. And so, when the "meeting" was adjourned, Kascalion marched with his soldiers of roughly 35 into the village before him, ignoring the other Sith that had come to answer Vora's call.

"Isĥ yu," Kascalion grumbled through the Force into the minds of his soldiers. Follow me. Ignore the lessers.

Thus had the hunt begun. And the Devil would be the victor.

Kuric wasted no time with the villagers. He wasn't here to make nice with them, and if he had to spend any amount of time doing so his insatiable blood lust would surely start to show itself.

The Mother's Mercy mustered on the side of the main throughway, waiting for Kuric to lay down a plan. As he mulled over his ideas, the soldiers of Kascalion Giedfield marched past. At the head of them was The Devil himself, in essence Kuric's grand master. Kuric served Vinaze, who in turn pledged his allegiance to Kascalion. His presence in the force alone was enough to reassure Kuric that this man was worth following.

Kuric knew it was beyond him to even address the Dark Lord of the Sith, so he let them pass and ordered his soldiers to follow them loosely. They were, after all, going to the same place.

As the Sith all marched out into the desert, Kuric could feel the presence of something else. Not the Sith'ari, no... it was no doubt the beast they had come to slay. Kuric didn't possess the same affinity for seeing through the force that Darth Vinaze did, but an aura so large was unmistakable.

As they crested a massive dune they could see the half-buried temple far in the distance, its black stone contrasting sharply against the golden sand. Waves of sand shifted and churned across the few miles left between them and the temple. This was the territory of the beast.

In the distance, a gargantuan dark shape rose out from the sand, like a whale breaching the water's surface, before it sunk back down into the sand.

It seemed everyone was on the same page. While it was extremely easy to tell that the Mandalorian was filled with nearly breaking wrath of power that was yearning to be released, Vora could sense almost the blasé attitude that was given by The Devil himself. As if his presence here, was a gift to Vora. While the man who would be the embodiment of Strength would love to one day remove whatever form of a smirk or smile from the bone face, for not, Vora would deal with having to work allong side him. For the Devil had many connections Vora wished to have. Sure he may already have some, but more was never a problem.

Walking further towards the meeting point with his own apprentice, Tash began to slowly increase her speed from a walk to a jog to close the distance between them. Having been here for a couple weeks now, it made sense that she would have the low-down on what was going on. Even coming forward with information that the others may use.

"The Kamarians are awaiting you all to take an offensive against this beast. From what I can tell, they attempted to discover more about the Sith Temple here, and in doing so, awoke the beast. Any attempts they have had fighting it with... less than stellar weaponry, have ended with many deaths. Too many that they can't fight it anymore worth a damn. I am sure the Alchemists, and Biologists you brought today could do something with that. Otherwise, I believe the soldiers and warriors can be used to keep the beast at bay, or tire it out."
"Good observation O'child mine."

She bowed her head and continued to walk beside her adoptive father. Turning to Khamul, They continued to walk towards the meeting point with the Kamarians.

"I heard you have an interest in Kamar? What is it you wish to accomplish here Warlord? For knowing your desires, may allow us to push a little more for what we want out of the planet."

Those who had come today, had an interest in Kamar. Either the creatures who crawled, slinked, or dug through its surface, or subjugation of its people. The Feudal system set in place of the bug creatures made it a very easy target due to the Warlord of the Sith's own ideas. The claims made for them would be rather... trivial to say the least. All that was required of the Warlords, is to secure the deal by taking care of the creature, and instilling leadership over them. No matter the cost.

Khamul kept pace with Vora as they continued toward the rendezvous. He didn't seem to acknowledge Tash, but he listened to every word. He had been looking forward to carving out a piece of this planet for himself, and was eager to get the current status of the situation. Almost as eager as he was to kill the giant beast. As they continued moving along, Vora asked him of his interest in the planet.

"I seek a small patch of land. Somewhere to conduct my business behind some secure walls. I have a desire to create a stronghold where our Sith will have the ability to prove their worth. I also have... plans for the people here, or at least, some of them. Plans that would be beneficial to our Crusade."

Khamul was careful to not reveal too much. His project was to be kept close to the chest until he could move it forward. He was hoping to give just enough information to keep Vora interested in the idea. If he could get the warlord's backing for the project, then he would have a much easier time making it a reality.

"There is potential here to bolster our forces for the coming days, and given the opportunity, I would see it done."

He hadn't done much to acknowledge the others in their party, beyond just enough of a nod to adhere to proper formalities. These Sith may share a similar goal, but he knew that he had to watch himself around them. After all, at the end of the day, they were all still Sith, allies or not. In time, he would come to know them better, but for now, he remained focus on the task at hand.
