Lost in the rolling sand...

Geonosis, Construction Site D
Jake leapt out of the shuttle, his bag hanging heavy on his back, as he adjusted the googles on his sand mask. It had been a long week, trying to keep track of all the new infrastructure that was being secretly constructed on geonosis. This base here, however, was the most important of the lot. It would hold the massive planetary shield generator, giving some protection to the war-weary citizens of the planet. Looking at the site from his vantage point, he could see the basic framework of what would be the command centre, and droids were scurrying around, hauling and attaching things in a frenzy of sparks and metal. Jake slowly began to climb down from the shuttle pad, towards the main area. Just as his boots began to descend the twisted stairs, a man in a hardhat, holding a clipboard, ran at him. "Mr. Hadrexos? Please, follow me.", the man said, talking quickly, as he began to go back down the stairs. Jake sighed, and walked after him...

Welp. Kami looked at the water..." That's a lot of Water." she said trying to act.. well not creeped out by the water.
" Had to be a water world. dammed new clients. " she complained to herself

The man began to ramble on about the progress of construction, leaving Jake rather confused, as it was hard to keep track of what the man was saying. "Increased power peroration to the, exactly, no, not right now, here's the place..", Jake heard, prompting a bemused look on his face. Soon, however, they had reached the construction site. It was an even more evocative experience up close, thought Jake. Here was the CIS industrial machine at work, and the efficiency and speed was staggering. All the work was done by the droids, programmed to work perfectly together, constantly working, without the need for breaks. There was a few organics on site, but they were vastly outnumbered. He walked over to the small habitation module where the humans were staying during construction, and pressed his hand to the door. The pad glowed green, and he walked into the airlock, had the sand blasted off him with air pumps, and was finally let inside. It was a smallish area, with a couple of tables and chairs, but nothing like the sand-filled frenzy of industrial mechanics just outside. Jake reclined back in a soft armchair, and looked over the documents before him...

Jake skimmed over the weathered papers, grimacing at the finance section. This was certainly a large project, even by the CIS's standards. Just as he put down the sheets, a woman in a lab coat walked through, smiling. "Jake Haxedros, such a pleasure to meet you. I am the Chief Technician for this project. If you would follow me...", she said, before promptly walking back out. Jake leapt to his feet, and ran after her, his bag back on his back again. Soon enough, he walked into a computer filled room, with a few people typing furiously. "Here is the central hub, Mr. Haxedros. We are currently setting up the software for the planetary defence shield...", she said, trailing off at the end. Jake grinned, and looked closley at the glowing blue screens. Lines of code travelled across the screen so fast, Jake suspected that you would need a neural implant just to keep up. Looking at the manager again, he asked, "Ok, so what now?"...
