- Capital City: Strako, a massive megacity that stretches for thousands of square miles and is considered the only livable place on the planet.
- Planetary Features: [ What are interesting artificial features of the planet? Ruins, interconnected cities, floating urban platforms. This field is used to sketch out artificial features, adding RP opportunities, but without the need for specific details like in the major locations field. You can also include if the planet is primarily Wild, Rural, Suburban, Urban, or a Mix. ]
- Major Locations:
Liandri Colosseum

While Loovria is covered in over a hundred Colosseums, Liandri is perhaps the most influential. Built in the heart of Strako, Liandri is an upscale arena designed to cater to the wealthy who come to watch and bet on gladiatorial combat. It is from Liandri that some of the most evocative fights are spread across the HoloNet; mock naval or starship battles, man vs beast, captured jedi vs hordes of battle droids spouting stereotypical voicelines associated with the Clone Wars of old. Liandri is a show, a lucrative show which thousands spend impressive amounts of credits to watch in person or even just over the HoloNet.

- Population: Sparse
- Demographics: The planet is primarily populated by Humans, Trandoshans, and Twi'leks but has an impressive population of Hutts, Gamorreans, and Weequays.
- Primary Languages: Huttese
- Culture: [ General overview of the inhabitant's behaviors. This should include information about daily life, society, arts, sports, religion. ]
- Government: Sith Governorship under the rulership of Darth Lextalionis
- Affiliation: Sith Order
- Wealth: Low: Wealth within the Sith Order is siphoned into the military, and thus very little of the wealth generated on Loovria stays on the planet. And what little does ends up in the hands of the Governor and his supporters.
- Stability: Medium: Loovria is a planet of strict castes. At the top the Weequay, Twi'lek, and Human loyalists who support Darth Lextalionis' regime, many of whom were once slave fighters. Underneath this are the peons, those who while considered 'free' lack any property and are under strict control of the government. Typically the peons work in the great factories of the planet, producing a near constant flow of goods to the Sith Order. Finally there are the debt-slaves where many Hutts, Trandoshans, and Gamorreans on the planet have been assigned. These slaves mostly fight in the pits or dig in the mines and are known to occasionally attempt localized slave revolts which are quickly put down.
- Freedom & Oppression: As Loovria is under the control of the Sith Order, liberty is not a consideration. Citizens exist to serve the state and propogate the Order's constant expansion and warfare. Furthermore, those who commit crimes or dissidant activites typically are given incredibly gratuitous fines which they will be enslaved until paying off.
- Military: Loovria operates an extensive security force of peon grunts. While not a formal military these guards are capable of a meagre planetary defense until the rest of the Sith Order arrives to aid.
- Technology: Galactic Standard
The History of Loovria begins during the times of the Infinite Empire where the Rakata settled the world after interstellar scouts discovered the world's rich resources. Over centuries the Infinite Empire would strip the planet bare of nearly all resources in a coordinated effort to fuel their expanding Empire. With the world and its ecosystems devastated in this way, leaving only a scant few species alive and able to survive in the toxic wastes of the planet, the planet is abandoned. By the end of the Infinite Empire the Rakata had lost all knowledge of this unimportant and now abandoned mining world.
The planet would ultimately be rediscovered during the Kymoodon Era with archaeologist of the Galactic Republic coming to the world to uncover what Rakatan relics had been left behind. While much of the toxicity of the Rakatan occupation of Loovria had dissipated, the world still proved inhospitable to colonists and the world's lack of readily available resources doomed it, in the eyes of many, to forever be abandoned.
During the Ductavis Era however the world would be settled by various corporations whose heavy industry was deemed too polluting to operate on civilized worlds. It is this fateful decision that would establish Loovria as a world of heavy industry to this day. It is also during this time that the first fighting pits are established as factory workers, seeking entertainment and extra credits, establish underground non-lethal fighting clubs. Eventually by the end of the era these fighting clubs have spread across the planet and become a hugely influential form of entertainment.
With the fighting clubs came organized crime as gangs seek to corner the market on these lucrative businesses. These gangs are allowed to prosper as competing corporations on Loovria utilize their manpower to sabotage one another while maintaining plausible deniability and to sabotage any attempts by the workers' to unite and demand better living conditions. By the Post-Manderon period the Hutt Cartel had moved into Loovria's criminal underground and either absorbed or wiped out most small gangs on the planet. The governing officials of the world came under the Cartel's influence and ultimately made the fighting pits legal, allowing the Hutts to expand the business into massive arenas across the planet and the HoloNet.
By the time of the Draggulch Period the Hutt Cartel has full control over Loovria, though still operates in the shadows with a puppet government which acts as a member of the Republic. Slaves are brought in to work the factories to supplant the previous population of free workers which causes several small-scale civil wars to break out during this period. Eventually the Hutts and their puppet government are victorious. The arenas on Loovria, now manned by free-man and slave alike, become galactic entertainment for their elaborate displays and frequent unique events.
During the Imperial Era the Hutt Cartel worked with the Galactic Empire to maximize the factory outputs on Loovria. Weapons, armor, and equipment for the Stormtrooper Corps was mass produced on world for incredibly cheap and shipped across Imperial Space. The Rebel Alliance operated a few small operations on Loovria as the Hutt Cartel would siphon weapons and armor away from the Empire and to the Alliance for a substantial pay, smuggling them to Rebel drop points as the Cartel played both sides of the civil war. This business relationship would however end fairly quickly as the Rebel Alliance would attempt to arm and lead various slave revolts on the planet.
By the time of the Legacy Era Loovria had long been a toxic wasteland, far worst than what the Infinite Empire had originally done to the world due to millennia of heavy industry operating on the planet. Yet the Hutt Cartel and their crony politicians would continue to extract as much wealth as they could from expanding industries and the gladiatorial arenas. It would be with the coming of the Gulag Plague that Loovria would finally be able to free itself from Hutt Control. As the Galactic Community would collapse and planets isolate themselves several slave revolts would overthrow the local government and their Hutt backers to establish the first and only Loovrian Republic.
The Loovrian Republic would suffer greatly however as they, now isolated from other worlds due to quarantining themselves to try to wait out the Plague, relied entirely on hyrdoponics to produce food. What food they could produce was simply not enough to sustain their population, and starvation ran rampant across the planet. While the planet was free for the first time in several millennia the people of Loovria suffered.
When the Gulag Plague was finally over the Loovrian Republic was faltering, and it was incredibly easy for the Hutt Cartel to move back in to the planet and pick up where they had left off as if nothing had ever happened. Slavery was reintroduced, the arenas began again, and the long abandoned super factories repaired and made operable again. Loovrian Industry would be utilized to assist the Hutt Cartel to regrow at a record pace before making the Cartel lucratively rich in helping other societies rebuild.
Ultimately in the time that followed Loovria would have their government changed multiple times. The Outer Worlds Alliance would temporarily control the world, freeing the slave population. Ultimately with the collapse of the OWA a tyrant known as Xexus would arise, backed by the Hutt Cartels, to restore order to the world. The fighting pits would begin again only to be quashed by the arrival of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The CIS would depose Xexus and begin work on reestablishing a second Loovrian Republic, though as the CIS' power waned the dreams of a second Republic were shattered. The Hutts' influence once more crept into Loovria, quietly reestablishing the ways of old.
Twenty six years later in 900ABY a planet-wide coordinated revolt would take place as those inspired by the CIS' promise of a Second Loovrian Republic would attempt to throw off their chains. They would have been successful, if it wasn't for the untimely arrival of the Sith Order. The world would be conquered and brought to heel. While slavery was once again abolished by the Sith Order the working conditions and oppression brought by the Sith Order was not too different than a type of formalized slavery. The ineffectual planetary governor who was set to prevent the planet from returning to its old ways was quickly replaced by their own apprentice: Darth Lextalionis. The dark lord set about bringing back the slave-fueld arenas and heavy industry of the world through a complex system of debt-slavery which mostly targetted the previously rulling uper classes of Loovria. Now the arenas are stocked with Hutts, Gamorreans, and others who once ruled the world.
While much has happened in Loovria's ancient history very little has changed. Loovrian industry still churns producing goods for their masters and the arenas still hold spectacular battles as political dissidants are torn apart by wild beasts or slave fighters.
