Valen's disappearance from the Order of the Silver Jedi had been abrupt and unnoticed, much to the astonishment and concern of Caedyn Arenais when he had returned to Kashyyyk following the recent battles that had taken place with the Bryn'adul and the Sith Eternal, a new sect of Sith that he had not encountered prior to the invasion of Ossus.

Caedyn himself had since decided to depart from the Order for reasons of his own, yet this news had only hastened his decision, collecting his things and making one final request of the Jedi Seekers and Silver Intelligence before leaving for Commenor where Valen had been spotted by someone connected to the Silver Jedi Academy there. Following up with the Jedi, Caedyn had been taken to the starport and from there been informed of the transport that Valen had taken, forced to land on Generis during the invasion of the New Imperial Order.

The journey was not a comfortable one despite Lexas doing all the piloting, Caedyn had spent much of the duration of the trip within meditation, seeking counsel from the spirit of his father as Thurion Heavenshield Thurion Heavenshield had taught him, yet Veiere Arenais did not appear surprised to learn of the Clone. Instead, his father's advice was more focused upon Caedyn himself being mindful of his emotions and the fatigue of recent battle, for there was no easy way to recover from such violence, not for a Jedi Knight.

When the Repertoire dropped out of Hyperspace, Caedyn's droid co-pilot announced their arrival over the vessels intercom causing the Jedi Knight to awaken from his trance, taking a moment to poise himself as he was still unaccustomed to such deep states of meditation and communion with the crossing, the ethereal plain.

"Take us down, Lex" Caedyn instructed as he entered the cockpit and moved to seat himself in the main pilot's chair, the droid seated on the left side; "I'm inputting the last known coordinates of Valen's shuttle...-Take us down through orbit and approach at a low vector, we don't need anyone picking us up on scanner" Caedyn added, to which Lexas complied and they began their descent down unto the Sith occupied world.

Generis had been a brutal fight, for many Sith and Imperials alike. Alina's own fight against the Jedi wasn't as terrible as some others, but coming back to see the destruction left behind filled her with anger. Hate. These traitors preached justice, but are willing to rip apart a planet just to fight their foes? She stood outside the ruined Ratakan temple, just staring at the fallen rubble. The bodies that been buried within had been retrieved, but the dried blood still remained.

How many died while she was stuck dealing with the Jedi's interference?

She set a gloved hand on one of the rocks, staring down to where one of the numerous bodies had been dug free. She didn't have her helmet on. No, she wanted to see the result of her actions with her own eyes. She wanted to rule the Sith, how could she if she didn't face her failures?

Alina raised a fist shortly after, punching into the fallen part of the temple before her. Shattering it with the raw strength her power in the Force gave. This was one of many messes that needed to be cleaned after all the war. And she planned to handle at least this by herself for the time being.

The Repertoire came in flying low across the landscape, Caedyn feeling a growing sense of unease the closer they approached their coordinates and soon enough the derelict remains of some form of Temple came within eyes sight, Lexas confirming that they had reached the coordinates of Valen's last known position according to the public transport agency whose ship had been destroyed as a result of the battle.

"This appears to be the location, Master" the droid announced as the vessel hovered over a clearing not far from the perimeter of the temple. The wreckage of the transport within sight from the cockpit bodies lain out across the ground nearby causing Caedyn to glance down at the controls, diverting his gaze.

"Set us down...-Secure the Repertoire on my leave. Nothing enters" he informed his droid companion while he turned away and moved towards the cargo-hold. Adorned in his Tunic, Caedyn pulled the robe from the back of the pilot's chair and wrapped it around his shoulders as he walked, his Lightsaber swaying at his side, attached to his belt. This was a Sith world, allegiances tied to those who sought nothing but hostility towards the Jedi, and here Caedyn was voluntarily stepping out into their turf of his own volition and company.

The loading ramp lowered as Caedyn descended it, stepping off just as it reached the ground floor and being closed behind him by the droid who remained on board for good measure. Reaching out within the Force, it was all too clear the violence that had been wrought upon the worlds natural state, the Force was shrouded in the darkness there and there remained pockets of space where the natural energies had been consumed by death, lives cut short by unnatural means.

There was no sense of joy, happiness or calm there. Even the air felt dense, weighed down by the suffering that had been caused by and against so many. The temple some ways ahead just beyond the tree line gave Caedyn direction, yet as he walked the feeling hanging over him only grew worse and left him to wonder for what purpose war had been brought to this land.

One by one she went through the rubble, crushing the rocks too large for her to lift and throwing the others aside. They'd gone through to gather every body they could, but already she could see evidence of more. Though, perhaps it wasn't so much more as what little was left. The heavy rocks pulverized everything. The most she could find were chain codes. Some crushed, others still enough intact. All enough for the memorials the living would want to hold.

She wiped her sweat from her brow as she felt it. Someone else was coming. No, someone familiar. A mind that had touched her own on.. Ossus? Her yellow eyes glared at the tree line once the realization set it. She stood tall, one hand resting on the hilt of the saber hooked to her waist. "You're brave to come to a Sith world, Jedi." It was presence alone that Alina could recognize. Who Caedyn Arenais was or what he looked like she had no idea of. Though that would soon change.

"You failed this battle. You should head back the way you came."

"You're brave to come to a Sith world, Jedi.

"

Caedyn hadn't come looking for a fight with the Sith Empire, or anyone for that matter, yet he couldn't turn back while knowing that this was the last known place where Valen had been sighted.

"Strange that you should be here of all places, during a time with which I'm seeking another" Caedyn replied as he continued to walk towards the Rakatan Temple ruins. "Fear not, I have not come to invade your world as you did mine" he added, pushing his way through the wild flora surrounding the temple site and finally breaking through into the open where he would be visibly seen by Alina Tremiru Alina Tremiru .

Initially, he didn't speak any further, nor approach any more while instead looking up towards the Sith in study of their attire, their stance and the weight of their aura within the Darkside of the Force. For the time being he kept his Lightsaber attached to his belt, not wishing to give Alina the incentive to draw her own prematurely, preferring to avoid a fight if at all possible.

"There was a battle here recently..." Caedyn raised his voice so that the other would hear him clearly enough, "Perhaps you'd be kind enough to sate my curiosity; What happened to this place?". The obvious fighting that had taken place there on Generis had nothing to do with him nor the Jedi, at least not to his knowledge. He'd not heard of it prior to hearing that Valen's transport had been forced to land due to some sort of emergency yet the crew and passengers had been killed, there were no details to go on.

Alina seemed to be his only real lead at the present time.

"Anyone you seek in Sith Space must be someone truly important for you to come here without disguise. Or, perhaps, you're that arrogant, Arenais." Who Caedyn Arenais was certainly wasn't lost on Alina. But she was tired. Being here, around all the death. There was no outward hostility, even in her tone. Whatever he was here for, she hoped he truly wasn't here to fight.

Her gaze turned to the temple, her lips thinning further into the frown.

"Traitors and murderers. Ironically, not the Sith either. In the pursuit of perceived justice, your Jedi have become children murderers and world breakers." She turned her back on him, stepping over to more of the rubble to continue digging out the lost. "Whatever you're searching for, it's gone. War has taken much."

Alina Tremiru Alina Tremiru was at least open to communicating with him as opposed to the usual response Caedyn got within the presence of the Sith, that being coming under immediate hostilities without the chance to deflate the situation. The fact that she had used his last name didn't occur to him until after the fact, causing the Jedi Knight to pause.

"I do hope that's not the case," Caedyn remarked with regards to the notion of his perceived arrogance, "It's more a general dislike for being deceitful or dishonest in any way" he pointed out. He didn't know whether or not a member of the Sith Empire would seriously consider or listen to his perspective being of the opposing alignment and in most cases opposing sides of the battlefield, yet Caedyn explained himself all the same.

"Would you not agree that, in feeling the need to hide who you are or what you represent, could be perceived as being ashamed or guilty of your role or origin? I don't feel my role as a Jedi Knight is something I should have to keep from others" Caedyn elaborated some more, remaining some distance from the Sith Knight for measures of caution. Caedyn couldn't take the woman's lack of aggression for granted, knowing that she could easily turn on him at any point were she simply wanting.

"As for my purpose here, I'm looking for someone. A young man of seventeen years who found his way to your world by public transport and may have made contact with your people" Caedyn informed Alina, "His name is Valen and I'm concerned for the boy. He's searching for something...Inaccessible".

Alina had kept a cold disposition, but she couldn't help but smile as Caedyn Arenais defended his choice to not hide himself. She paused her excavation again though as he continued to speak of the seventeen year old. Valen? She'd read the reports of the boy since his arrival after Zoist. HIs story matched up, and it'd make sense as to why an Arenais was here.

"He is not here. And, if your goal is to save him, I would suggest hiding who you are. He has been taken as a Sith and fights alongside us of his own volition. Having a Jedi wandering around searching for him as casually as you have will only lead to terrible things for him."

Caedyn's features visibly tightened as he tried to comprehend why Valen had voluntarily joined The Sith Empire, yet deep down he knew the boy's reasons, yet feared that he hadn't truly considered the risks of what he was doing. The path he was walking down was a dangerous one without moderation and restraint, yet there would be no use telling this to Alina Tremiru Alina Tremiru as she was also one of them.

"That is...-Unfortunate" Caedyn replied reluctantly, having now to consider how much he said and how it could impact Valen's time with the Sith. The Jedi Knight felt it was better to keep the details surrounding the boy's identity and origins to himself, least the Empire sought to exploit them to its benefit.

"Would you mind sharing what you know of him and how he's doing?" Caedyn asked, his shoulders relaxed, hands having shifted from his lightsaber marginally, instead burying his thumbs beneath his belt and standing before the Sith seemingly no longer as wary as he had previously been.

"I don't know much of him, but he's done well from the reports. Though, he's had to face all manner of horrors at the hands of your fellow Jedi and their allies." She stayed pretty cold as she spoke, not wanting to give away anything the Jedi might try to use against her. Yet, her gaze softened as it seemed Caedyn Arenais genuinely cared for the safety of his lost.. Family.

It was good to see family that cared about each other.

"From what I can tell, he seems happy. And safe. At least, as safe as a Sith can be."
