Little Green Riding Hood (Rasu Gan)

The lush jungle of Dagobah stretched over the planet. The darkside was strong and flourished here, however this was the home of long living and wilder revered Jedi master Yoda, and @[member="Rasu Gan"] and Meta had been sent to study his home and planet. So far the plan had not gone accordingly, they had crashed and the communications on their shuttle had been fried in the atmosphere. Luckily the ship had landed on solid ground.

Meta was slumped against the ship. His arms folded lazily over his knees, studying the scenes before them. Where exactly had they landed?

Rasu sat in her seat stunned, chest rising in short bursts as she gratefully took in the oxygen of the environment around them. The past few minutes had sped past in a blur, she recalled the emergency siren going off telling the pair of Jedi that something had gone wrong and then they had fallen. Their craft had heated up on it's descent, the nose of the ship sprouted flames as it sped up, the Shi'ido remembered thinking that this was going to be it for her but then she had opened her eyes and found herself on solid ground... still alive! The Force must have been at work to have let the two Jedi live through that catastrophic event, not many people would have survived such a feat but they had, and she was thankful for it.

Climbing out of her seat, she hopped out of the small cockpit, pushing slightly on the protective visor so to open the compartment to the humid, swampy air. Giving herself a moment to steady her shaking legs, she made her way over to the second compartment containing Padawan Meta. The Shi'ido Knight peered in to check on his status and saw that he was in the same state as she, a bit shocked but overall alright. Walking away from the shuttle, she tried to gain a better understanding of where they were. Reaching out in the Force she could feel the immense presence of the dark side, but she could also sense tiny pockets of space which emanated light. It was there that would most likely contain the home of the long dead Jedi Grandmaster Yoda, who was the reason for the two Jedi's journey to Dagobah, the home of the famed Jedi. Although Yoda lived centuries ago, he must of taken some sort of communication device with him after his exile to this world, and although the technology was probably quite primitive to what the galaxy had today, she was sure that it could still accomplish it's designed task.

Turning back to their ruined shuttle, she called out to the Padawan, "Come on Meta, time to go find the home of Master Yoda. He'd have taken some sort communications device that we can use to contact a rescue shuttle. Let's get moving."

@Meta

The hatch to Meta's pod was already open, and as Rasu ran her gaze over him. He looked up to her, studying her physical form for damage. However, he found none and refrained from speaking. But, as she spoke. He raised himself from the pod, his head feeling a bit dazed and his heart rate slowly returning to a functioning level. He scanned the area, no sign of any sort of hutt. However there was a near overwhelming feeling of a dark presence, this was easily ignored as Meta felt a spike of nostalgia run through him. He had only read about Dagobah in books, the same goes for Master Yoda. He had never seen it in the flesh, it was a breathtaking place. However, it wasn't beautiful. At least not going by universal standards of beauty. But, in Meta's eyes it was beautiful. It looked alive, yet ancient and dormant. Meta did not want to return empty handed. "Alright, but first. Let's have a look around, see what we can find." He said enthusiastically jumping from the pod and landing beside Rasu, towering over the smaller jedi, he looked over his shoulder at her. A smile on his face.

He placed his hands on his waist, overlooking the jungle, he moved forward. Ahead of Rasu, looking around at the various landscapes. His boots digging deep into the soggy ground. Bat like creatures flied through the air, the prescence of the two jedi had obviously disturbed the local wildlife.

The Padawan didn't seem to understand the urgency of their current situation. They had crashed and were left with no way to contact those outside the planet's atmosphere, they were stranded. Although Rasu had to cut the man some slack. The Council had ordered the Jedi Padawan to remain within the Temple since the invasion on the planet Ossus. This would have been his first outing since his detention period had ended, so she couldn't blame the man for wanting to explore a little.

Returning the man's smile with one of her own, she replied to Meta, saying, "Oh alright, I guess we have time to explore a little. But then we have to go find Master Yoda's hut, okay?" She understood that the Jedi wanted to have a bit of fun, but she wanted to get the point across that they were still stuck on the swampy world with no way off. If they were going to have any hope of leaving, they needed to reach the deceased Jedi's dwelling. Looking up at the sky, she watched the sun began it's descent towards the other side of the planet. Night would be upon them soon, and when that happened, the time for games would be over.

@Meta

"I'd rather be stuck on here forever than go back to the temple." Meta said, with those words springing to mind, he wondered. This was his chance to escape, maybe if h-. He was soon cut off as he refocused. No, I can get through this, this temptation is that of the darkside aura of this planet. I will not listen, he grimaced at the thought of the darkside. Returning to the abyss of darkness that was his past life. He would not return.

Meta shrugged off the darker emotions in an attempt to speak. "But, yes. We should be able to reach the hut hopefully before nightfall." Meta commented, slowly moving around. Letting his hands wonder around his surroundings as he navigated the forest further. "We should try and get to some sort of high ground.." He said, taking note of the thick trees on either side of him. Meta stopped in his tracks, taking in a deep breath of fresh air. He was so glad to be well, out. Even without any sort of weapon, he felt like his chains had been broken. The Jedi had chained him to their temple, not allowing him to grow. Hopefully after a good report from Rasu about his behaviour; his chains may be broken. He might be no longer a prisoner in his own home.

Turning to the man as he spoke, Rasu could sense some form of internal conflict taking place in the humans mind. She felt a wave of sympathy was over her and decided to send it towards the man, showing that she was here for him if he needed any assistance. She knew that many of the Council members found it hard to trust the Padawan, but what they didn't realise was that their distrust spread throughout the other members of the Order. Meta only had a few friends who truly trusted him and Rasu wanted to make sure he knew that she was one of them. His playful desires seemed to have been shrugged off during his mental struggle as he now seemed to agree with the Shi'ido that it would be best if they got to the deceased Jedi's home as soon as possible.

Taking the younger Jedi's advice, she leaped up onto one of the nearest tree's, planting her feet on one of its many branches. She continued to scale up the tree until she had a fair view of the surrounding area. Scanning the general area, she tried to spot anything that might help them with their search, however she had no idea what to look out for so eventually gave up on that. Instead she returned to what she did know. It was common knowledge that during his time on Dagobah, the small Jedi Master had taken up the role of gatekeeper to a set of caves. These caves however weren't ordinary, they were a large nexus of dark side energy, one of the reasons why Yoda had chosen to relocate here, the dark side had masked his light presence. Yoda would have set up his home quite close to these caves if he was to act as a gate keeper, so it would be a good place to start. Deciding to search through the Force instead of through her physical sight, Rasu opened herself to the giant clouds of light and dark. Reaching out she tried to determine the strength of the dark smudges that represented the presence of dark side energies, however she couldn't grasp any knowledge from these.

Jumping back down from the tree, she stood next to Meta, asking, "Meta I need you to determine which of these dark side nexuses is the strongest. I know it's risky for you, but I just can't distinguish any of them." Rasu knew that her only hope of finding these caves would be through the Padawan who had accompanied her. She knew it would be dangerous to expose him to the presence of dark side founts, but this was their only chance of escape. She had faith in Meta, and she would be right beside him if anything went wrong.

(OOC: Apologies for the late reply my dear. @[member="Rasu Gan"])

Astrian took a moment. Listening to what Rasu had to say, would he be able to handle it? Could he. Of course, he knew of both dark and light. He had been trained in the ways of the sith long ago. However, he had turned his back on it then. He could turn his back on this now. He nodded to her and turned to the clouds of dark and light. He stood up straight, closing his eyes to concentrate; he reached out with the force. Emphasising this by his extension of his arm, his hand out in a grasping motion. He sensed much of the dark side, however. There was one prominent dark side aura and one lightside aura. "This way." He muttered, opening his eyes. He felt somewhat drained, the dark side had leaked into his mind; he was unaware of what was creating the dark side aura. But, he was sure they would find out.

Astrian began to move forward, slowly navigating the inhospitable terrain of Dagobah. Astrian was already concentrating, his vision was twisted. He could mainly one see the dark and light of the area; his senses were leading him forward. Not much else, he must have seemed like he wasn't all there. Like as if something had taken over, however it was the force that was guiding him or so he thought; and he was numb to most things Rasu would be saying. Unless she came into danger.

Astrian shot off without any warning, sensing the strong pull of the planet's largest dark side nexus. Breaking into a sprint, Rasu slowed her pace as she caught up to the man, his eyes fixed only on what was in front of him. She could feel the balance in the man's mind shift slightly as he opened himself to the planet's seductive pull, his aura dipping itself in the dark waters of Dagobah. Rasu knew that he was risking his sanity by doing this, and Rasu already felt guilty at putting the young Jedi up to this. So to ease her sense of guilt, she began to send soft waves of her own light towards the man, providing a small but firm shield against the darkness of the swamp. Astrian would guide the pair through the swamp, while Rasu provided a defense against the dark aura and protected both Jedi as they journeyed through Dagobah, slowly closing in on their destination.

Astrian could feel Rasu attempting to protect his mind, however the indulges of the darker sides of the force were too great. His mind struggled as their destination was becoming less and less clear, he stopped. Sighing, he took a moment to concentrate. "Focus.." He spoke to himself before continuing onward, he could feel it. A spike of light force energy amongst the dark, they were drawing closer. However a dark presence hung over the swamp, it was strange. As if something had infected it. However the beacon of light remained strong, "Rasu...can you feel that?" He asked, the darkness penetrated his mind violently. Like someone on the other end was trying to get in. He didn't know what it was, but he planned to find out.
