Despite me being a little less active in the community than I wanted and working on the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances which I will have to close down now.

I will be limiting my posting to the bare essentials in order to assist my father in his daily life. I was informed rather suddenly that he has an uncurable condition called Chronic venous insufficiency.

While they do not think it is a serious medical concern, I want to be with him more to ensure that he lives happy and comfortable.

Wow. That.... Wow. Good on you for being the good son. That is exponentially more important than RP. The site will miss something without your band of miscreants, but be there for your dad and your family above all else.

Focus on doing that, remember that it's okay to take breaks and avoid carer's burnout. Having been a carer myself for family, it can be tough and super draining. Will miss seeing your stuff and hopefully things will balance out with life for you!

Always rough when there is a medical situation in the family. Good luck, man, take it easy. The stuff here is not nearly as important as what's happening out there.

As someone who lives with a chronic disease that makes my veins routinely inflamed, I commend you for taking this time to help your father and for being there for them. Even if it isn't fatal, these things certainly change life in unexpected ways that can be scary and isolating, so it's great he has a support system in you. I wish you both the best, and don't forget to take care of yourself, too.
