DESCRIPTION
While Aerarii Tithe does his best to stay away from violent confrontations - much preferring to do his battles in the boardroom - experience has shown him that trouble always, uhh, find a way. Considering his safety and wellbeing the ultimate asset, he took it upon himself to make a sizeable investment in an armoured chest piece to safeguard himself while operating in hazardous environments.
Tithe commissioned Liquidity Textiles, a Galactic leader in the field of hybrid textiles, to develop a unique alloy which would offer considerable protection against lightsabres, blasters and slugthrowers, and three forms of weaponry he most commonly finds himself facing. A key design requirement was that the piece is lightweight and has an outstanding range of movement so as to not impede his inevitable attempts to flee from danger rather than stay and fight.
As a named traitor to the Sith Empire, Tithe requested protections be embedded against the Dark Side wielding assassins he fears will one day be sent against him. Void Stone fragments are embedded throughout the armour to disrupt the abilities of Force users, though they do not discriminate - allies likewise find themselves impeded when in close proximity to the armour. While Tithe notes that this is largely their problem, it does limit the ability of Force using allies to protect him at close range.
And being that he wearer of the armour is Aerarii Tithe, the piece was required to have maximum aesthetic appeal. While the ostentatious design is intended to convey the quality of the armour and ward off would-be attackers, it's slim-fitting nature makes the plate easily concealable, and it can be worn inconspicuously under clothing when the situation dictates.
