Liquidity Textiles is a high-end industry textile manufacturer based on Kol Huro, with factories spread around the galaxy. Liquidity specialises in producing new hybrid fabrics to address specific client needs, such as increased durability and flexibility while minimising weight and improving comfort. While their factories are capable of meeting large specialised textile orders, the main focus of Liquidity is research and development. Once a new textile has been designed to meet the needs of the client, Liquidity licences the new textile to the client and supports them to establish their own production facilities. This business model allows Liquidity to amass a large textile client base without the burden of massive manufacturing overheads.
While based with the Sith Empire, liquidity welcomes clients of all political persuasions.
RATIONALE
Liquidity Textiles was founded around fifteen years ago, during a time when the textile market largely focused on mass-producing standard textiles (e.g. nylonite, plastithread, synthmesh) rather than developing new textiles to meet special orders. A consortium of investment bankers based out of Aargau, who were seeking to diversify their portfolios, learned of the company bought it out based on the potential they saw in it. The strong performance of Liquidity has seen it remain a private company, with the board retaining full shareholders.
