H I S T O R Y
It was during the harvest season on Zahat’n’ira when Lilin was born to Darth Malificete and Vitor Imperieuse. A Zahati’i standard demands new babies have to participate in a particular group called Baby Survival School (which no longer serves a real purpose and is only a ceremonial thing), so Lilin had to do the same. Zahati’i, being better in survival and reaching maturity sooner, were much better than Lilin was in the school, but her skills in draining emotions soon made them equal.
But the kid grew older, her mother dead and his father suffering from the emotional pain it had caused. And even though his father had a new wife for a while, Lilin still felt the feeling inside like something wasn't right. She couldn't bare in mind the fact that her mother no longer existed and that she had to live with a woman who was a replacement to the person who had given birth to her.
Then, after her step-mother's death, Vitor was alone with his kids. The girl thought she would go the way she wanted to go, not follow the legacy of her mother's. Her fight against darkness, as well as the dark side in her family began.
Life without a mother was difficult for her, but she managed to grow up to be a beautiful teenage girl with the help of her father Vitor, who gave her all of the love he could, making up for the loss of one parent.
Not long after starting her independent life, the girl joined a group of those who were on the Light Side of the Force and fought against darkness and evil in the galaxy. The faction consisted of kids about the same age as her and for the first time ever, she felt really understood and welcome in a group of people. As a member of the Covenant, she participated in the very first meeting of the new faction which told them they would have to fight very soon. Lilin seemed very OK with that.
But independent life brings along a lot of difficulties, one of them the fact that you are away from your family. As time passed, Lilin started missing her family more and more, so she made a visit to her former home at Zahat'n'ira where his father was not expecting her visit. The day got a lot more interesting when it was revealed the family had a third child who was a Sithspawn the kids' mother had made. The darkness in the family made Lilin feel slightly odd, as well as making her understand she did not quite enjoy her family anymore.
Later, as a member of the Covenant, Lilin started participating in fights against the One Sith. As the faction expanded their territory on new planets, the girl started trying to fight against them and prevent them from gaining dominance over these planets. She was not too much of an opposition as the faction gained these planets, anyway, but she got to spread some light and fight against evil, so she got that going for her, which was nice.
After having fought against the Sith on their dominions on new planets, Lilin finally found a chance to be on a true battlefield for the first time when the Galactic Republic invaded the One Sith on Ord Mirit. The girl fought against a Sith Acolyte who was far superior to her and, after numerous wounds, she decided to leave the fight. Most injuries were possible to treat, but she was left mentally scarred as the darkness which she had hidden for long took the girl over at the battlefield, making her more corrupt than ever before.
Time passed and the end of the Covenant was nearby. However, Lilin had been dealing with too much of a struggle inside lately and thought the only way to go on with her life was to exile herself and go into isolation. She left all of her responsibilities behind and started traveling around random planets while ignoring all interaction with other people.
However, this isolation made her situation even worse. She fell into deep depression which initiated her suicidal thoughts. She started feeling like there was no way to go on with life at all and, one a cold windy night, she nearly killed herself on a cliff. Her suicide would have been successful had there not been a man nearby. And meeting that person changed the girl's life forever.
The man, Darrick Lancaster, was his grandfather who managed to stop the girl from committing suicide. Later he went on to reveal some secrets to the girl about their family and bloodline, and secretly set up a mental trap for the girl.
Lilin returned home and, having seen that there was no Covenant anymore, she joined the Galactic Alliance like many others, and started fighting the Dark Side that way. After returning, she hardly spoke to anybody about her depression. However, there was a man, Jacen Voidstalker, whom she had met before and whom she trusted enough to tell him about her struggles.
The conversation she had with this man resulted in the girl taking some time off of exploring to gather her thoughts, help out in the New Jedi Order, and get rid of the depression.
For months, the girl spent her days inside the Jedi Temple, doing librarian work, helping out Jacen with training the young Padawans, and counting days until the moment she would no longer be depressed. And even though the progress was difficult, the girl managed to conquer her depression once and for all. Or at least seemingly so.
The Jedi Master soon started doing her usual work, stronger than ever before and with more willpower than she could have ever imagined herself to have. She was determined and felt like she could completely eradicate the Dark Side.
That is also when the girl took on a new Padawan, one named Aston Jacobs. And even though it was odd to start teaching a Padawan who was older than the Master, she thought their relationship would work out well.
Lilin slowly started feeling more and more comfortable in the Galactic Alliance, participating in many missions and battles against the One Sith and other dark sided factions. But one couldn't only fight the Dark, so she did not forget to find new friends and contacts in the faction.
One of these contacts she made was Aedan Lochlan, whom she met on a fundraiser gala which was held to help the Alliance make their very own flagship. The two got along very well and despite the continuous tries of the Rogue Alliance to keep the man from interacting with the woman, the couple did end up leaving the gala and spending quality time with each other.
What the man didn't know was that this one night together was just the spark igniting a more powerful flame inside the girl.
However, passions should never cloud a Jedi's mind, Lilin knew that. For that very reason, the girl continued his pursuit to become the best Jedi she could be. Over time, she was given more and more responsibilities on Alliance missions, as well as the possibility of starting her own small-scale fleet.
Her life as a Jedi didn't leave her with any time to focus on her family, especially her parents and siblings. That is also the reason why she got a little gift from her family, a lightsaber crystal producing a black blade, without knowing of her father's death.
After fighting in numerous battles and acquiring the rank of Jedi Marshall, Lilin decided it was time for her to change her name to something more regal and matching of her accomplishments. She became known as Liliane Lancaster, a Jedi Marshall of the Galactic Alliance.
Soon after the battle of Coruscant, the woman got an opportunity to rest. She was able to take four months off of the New Jedi Order life, which she spent in her home alongside her siblings. However, four months passed and the Jedi Master started craving for the Jedi way again. And so she returned to the Order fresher than ever, ready to take on new challenges.
